The moment you walk into the building, you can smell the faint aroma of spa products. I followed the relaxing scents down a little hall to find a super friendly welcome at the front desk. The treatment room was calming, beautiful, and smelled amazing! From the heated treatment table to the relaxing sounds playing softly in the room, this experience was completely wonderful. The express facial involved several rounds of cleansing, extracting, and moisturizing. My skin felt so soft and hydrated when I left. Basically it's a buy one get one deal for your first time into the spa. The spa also has deals if you get services done on Wednesdays. I've had facials at a lot of spas in the Orlando area and this spa's service tops them all! Paula was my esthetician, and she was thorough and explained the steps throughout, but without talking too much. While I was steaming, I was offered either an arm and hand massage or a foot massage. Score! The Image Skincare products used on me had a great natural fragrance and were gentle on my sensitive skin. I was interested in purchasing a few of the products, and really appreciated not getting a hard sell. I explained how basic my current skincare routine is and she sold me just the products that I needed to start. The only drawback to the spa is it's in a small space, so you can hear other conversations, but it wasn't so noisy that it took away from my relaxing experience. I recently spent four weeks in Florida and was looking for a reputable place to get a massage. Our resort offered an "in house" massage service, but the price was high, and communication with the company was disjointed and unsettling. I took a chance on nearby Indulgences by Mary Ashton, and I was not disappointed! GPS led me to their back entrance, but once inside, I was made to feel welcomed and comfortable. The place seemed nice and clean. I had requested an 80 minute Deep Tissue Massage. Lucia introduced herself to me and led me into a peaceful room. Lucia was petite and her handshake had been a little... limp, so I wondered if she'd be able to get deep into my tissues. Let's just say she has another side to her! The massage was so nice, I booked again with Lucia for the following week. Because I'm from Canada, they gave me a special receipt and said I can deduct this from my income tax... who knows??? I will start by saying this, I wish I lived closer because I love this spa! So long story short, had my nails done with a new acrylic set on Friday in LA (where I live). I'm on the plane Saturday and my fingers burn and itch like the devil! I realize from a previous experience with gel polish I'm having an allergic reaction! Knowing full well the next stage is painful blisters, I research spas near my vacation resort. I found this one they had a 12 pm same day on Monday when I called. The spa is the cutest place and all three ladies were beyond gracious and accommodating. They even started my nail removal (soak in acetone 20 minutes with scraping, so gentle) early! I met Mary and another tall, slim dark haired lady first. They even made my hubby coffee! The nail artist Cinnamon came in at 12 on the dot and listened to my whole saga of nail drama. She finished my manicure with a feather light touch.I mentioned I've had silk wraps before and asked if they did them here. She said she didn't have the supplies in hand but would call her supply house and go get them if they did!!! They didn't but I'm sorry you don't get that type of above and beyond service where I'm from! My poor nails were so weak and damaged. Well my mom and dad showed up to take us to lunch and they treated my whole family like we were regulars! Talking and laughing with all of us! I'm kinda glad I needed a reason to visit. Please look no further for a clean, well run, welcoming spa! I will visit again when I come back. Shellac Nail Service Review After a year of receiving shellac manicures at another spa, I wanted to try a different spa that is closer to my work. Boy, was that a mistake. Let me start with something good about Indulgences. The manicurist (not a nail tech) was very friendly and gave the best hand massage ever! Now for why I feel it was a mistake to try this spa. Most things I list below could have been overlooked if the actual nail service was acceptable. I have had shellac manicures last 3+ weeks looking flawless, where this manicure started peeling, lifting, and even chipping after two days. I was surprised as they do not use the official CND techniques when taking off the shellac. She had me soak my nails in a bowl of acetone and buffed my nails to remove residual shellac polish. My nails have not needed buffing in the past year with great success while removing the shellac the correct way. The application of the shellac was very thin and inconsistent. In all honestly, the streaky and spotty application even made my husband take notice. He said that I could have done a better job myself, which is saying a lot. The manicure station is squished into the front window, making it very tight. Also, being in the front of the spa meant that my manicurist was also manning the check in desk, leaving me mid manicure half a dozen times. Each time she came back she would apologize, but it definitely interrupted the experience. One of the instances there was an error in the booking of a couple who came for a massage. Mary Ashton came to assist and rather than solving the issue, kept arguing with the clients regarding the time. When it was resolved, Mary called across the room to my manicurist to be sure to offer them water when they return for their massages. It was a very awkward position to be in. While I have not tried any other services at the spa, I would not return for any nail services. read more

I told the technician I just wanted it cleaned up, but she not only gave me a thin "design" that I wasn't fond of, but then I was charged more for that design, when I just asked for a clean up... Got my first-ever massage here with my husband a few weeks ago. We booked a couples massage and it was a lovely experience. I got a mix of deep tissue and Swedish massage and the next day I felt like a million bucks! The pains that had been plaguing my neck and spine were gone and they are still gone! Wow is just about all I can say. I pulled a muscle in my back last Sunday. I spent most of Monday in an urgent care clinic because the pain was so severe. After taking pain pills and flexril all week, I finally gave up on Friday and decided to get a massage to see if that would make a difference. I called about a dozen places and none could get me in on such short notice. Indulgences was able to and Connie seriously cured my pains by the time she was done. I've been to Indulgences By Mary Ashton about every 2 months since they opened for a deep-tissue massage with Mary. I'm a proffessional athlete from Sweden and need the deep-tissue massage for my sore and tired muscles and I have never been to anyone better than Mary! However, she is very good at adjusting to the right amount of pressure depending on what you're in the need for. So it doesn't matter if you just want a relaxing massage or a deep-tissue, she's very good. I also really like the atmosphere and look in the spa. It's a good mix of contemporary/modern and warming/relaxing. The spa is also conveniently located in downtown Celebration and sometimes I pop over for a coffee or lunch after my massage to one of the nearby coffee shops or restaurants. read more

I had the Facial & Body Wrap Combo, and it was divine. The facial was deeply relaxing and nourishing. She used a clay mask to deep cleanse my pores and blue light therapy to help cure a bout of acne I had from accidentally eating gluten, which you can actually feel working. Then she chose a deeply moisturizing combination of treatments to be left on the skin that included vitamin C to help brighten and even my skin tone. The wraps added a nice tingling sensation (to my thighs) during the facial and then a massage at the end really set it all off. They didn't ask to see her gift certificate before her mani/pedi and gave her the most expensive one they had to offer. She's a college student. So much for treating my daughter to a mani/pedi.
