If you want a really great nail experience, try diamond Nails. We went on a Thursday just before 6 pm for two manicures and pedicures. The shop which is located in a shopping center just left of the Kobe restaurant. We called ahead for two mani/pedis and did not have a wait at all. We arrived around 5:45 pm and they close at 7 so we had a really quiet and peaceful experience. The beauticians were very thoughtful and offered us wine and water during our services. We got the deluxe volcano pedicures which come with a nice sugar scrub. The massage chairs were top notch. I highly recommend them. read more

Founding Farmers is just the best. Delicious food, a food company vision, and always great service. Rating: 3.5 Date: 07/2020 After many months under quarantine, we visited Orlando and decided I would finally get a mani and pedi. Found this place through yelp. It is located in the nicer end of Kissimmee. Due to COVID, I actually did not expect them to be open for business. But when I called, they answered. It is located inside strip mall and there are plenty of parking. Salon: The salon is your average size nail spa with about 8 or so mani tables and about 8 pedi chairs. It is clean and beautiful inside. There are handsanitizers at the front counter as soon as you enter. For lighting, there are some track lights and small pendant lights that gives the salon a melow glow. The contemporary art decor on the walls definitely matches both the accent and salon furnitures. Their selection of nail polishes are against the wall, nice and neat inside a huge white frame. They have a nice sink counter at the bank with ample soap and paper towels. The restroom is nice and roomy and reflects the same motif from the spa area. There are also several large screen tvs. I have to say that the best part about this place is their massage chairs. It felt new with its nice, leathery seat and the fancy side tables and remote control holder. The remote control had so many options and buttons. I enjoyed this chair very much. Service: The technicians were very quiet but polite. Everyone wore a mask the entire time. We did not have many interactions but we were able to communicate the neccessary stuff. It did get difficult understanding each other especially with the facemask on. They provide pretty much everything a typical nail salon provide. I got gel on my nails and a regular pedicure. My son also had a pedicure, his first actually. With the help of their free wifi, he was able to sit still and entertain himself with his ipad. I did not like that the kids pedicure was priced the same as adults, especially the fact that they did not even painted atlease one clear coat on my sons nails. My mani and pedi color of choice came out beautifuly. Overall, this was a good experience. The pricepoint is a bit on the high side, especially for a pedicure for a little boy. The place felt clean and comfortable which is extremely important especially now during the pandemic. But everyone was nice and respectful. Their previous customer left their airpod case and I saw them try to go after them outside as soon as they discovered it on the mani table. Definitely give them a try and see for yourself. read more

Called and got right in. I was given Andy as my tech. I have powder dip nails. Some tech's grind the old color off. Andy uses remover and foil to remove color. They had a great selection of colors. The only thing a can say is I was quoted one price on the phone for a gel fill, 45. Then come the add in's. 5.00 for "long nails" ( those are long ?) and 5.00 for special shape ( oval is " special?")All and all a good fill. read more

This i think is by far the worst experiences I've had at This salon. I've gone multiple times on the past and they have always done amazing work on nails , they paid attention to details and the shape was on point. I went there with this same expectation but it was not the best. From the begging the technician seemed rushed and there was no one in the salon, Midway after the acrylic, filling and "shaping" was done and me continuously either removing my hand because of over filling ,I had to stop the process because I did not want to waste anymore of the nail techs time knowing I was not happy with the job. I told her it was ok that she didn't have to finish the job that I would still pay for the set. She immediately got upset and started raising her voice saying just to leave . At that moment I just said you know what I don't even have to pay for these but this is your job so I will pay. When I went to pay they wanted to charge extra 5 for the shape. I mentioned to the gentleman that I would not pay for that due to the shape not even being done and the nails where not done either. It's honestly Sad that these things happen. I was really trying to be polite in the process and not be disrespectful while me feeling so angry with the treatment. But it's a shame also that they get upset when the person that is paying for the job expresses discontent. read more

Although hesitant because I received an infection from the tub at another nail salon during a pedicure. I decided to give this place a try after a recommendation from a friend. I was seriously impressed with how sterile they were!! They use liners for each person in the tubs, and new sterile tools for each person!! I was already impressed but it only got better. I believe the employee I got was Yanessa? I probably butchered her name but she was seriously the best. She was so sweet and welcoming, taught me how to use the massage chair, offered me a beverage, and gave me options when I asked for extras. I got the exfoliating pedicure because the prices were very reasonable. Lots of scrubs and oils it felt amazing! She really took her time and gave a really great massage, it wasn't rushed and felt like she really cared. When she did the polish, cuticles, buffing, etc. she was a perfectionist and really paid attention to every little detail. Came here today to have my nails done while on vacation in Orlando. I'd read the reviews ahead of going in and was pretty sure I'd have a decent experience. When I first got there, it felt like they were trying to talk me into getting my nails dipped instead of the acrylic I asked for. I just kept repeating that I wanted acrylic until she let it go. That same person was sitting in from of one of the shelves of color and didn't move even though she was the one who told me to pick my color. Not sure what's up with that, but I found one I liked on the shelf I could reach. The tech was ready for me right away. She was just finishing up one of her own nails. We joked about how long it takes her to do her own because she does it between customers. My tech was very friendly and sweet. She was very careful and did a great job on my nails. I liked that she only roughed up my natural nail a little bit rather than really tearing it up. She also didn't hit my cuticles at all. My nails look amazing. (Picture attached) I saw some reviews complaining about it being in a strip mall and that they may not get you in right away even with an appointment. This is a pretty typical nail place. I know there are nice spa salons out there with a different feel, but this style is very common. It's a nail salon in a mediocre strip mall that takes walk-ins. They aren't likely to let a chair sit empty while they wait for an appointment to arrive. If you're looking for an appointment and a waiting room that looks like a meditation room, this is not for you. If you want great nails, at a reasonable price, and friendly people, this is a great option. read more

Only the cheese grater, which I never use, did not appear to be sanitized or cleaned, so if you like your feet grated, you may want to think twice. The massage chairs are of great quality. They have lots of colors to choose from, and the place is VERY clean. Most importantly, they consistently do a great job. I recommend Tina if you are doing acrylics or gel. Kim is my favorite for mani/pedi and waxing. Ken does the best leg massages. read more

I traveled to the area from D.C. Went here as I was searching on Yelp for a nail salon with excellent reviews. I called first, and they said come on in. I arrived and was seated right away at a nail station and given the gel color array to select from. The male nail tech (didn't get his name) was excellent in service, care and communication. I asked for water, he brought me a bottle and opened it for me while my nails were wrapped to remove the current gel manicure. He spoke English, which I am not accustomed to where I go at home! He suggested a pink base, which I hadn't ever heard of before--no one at my home salon ever made that suggestion! He also offered me 2 white tip colors--that's never been offered to me at my home salon either! He then said 2 top costs make the manicure last longer ... yes, please! He talked to me while the TV played the World Cup. Our conversation was all about soccer, along with the client sitting next to me who had engaged in conversation with me. She was also from out of town, so we chatted the whole time. I had gone in wanting gel but ended up with dipping nails (ask!). It's basically a nail polish that is powder based that it meant to be less harsh on the nail, and used no black light.
