All the benefits of a high end company office space, with modern facilities, without any of the worry of all the overhead and costs. I work for a company out of El Paso, and they asked me to go find a local workshare office space in the East Valley area of Phoenix. Gilbert is home to several workspace companies who have shared space. I looked at a few of them, visiting some, and reviewing their benefits, costs and locations. Nothing even came close to the facilities at EZ Spaces. The office area is large, spacious and modern. The desks, chairs, power connections, internet (insane blazing commercial speeds) and meeting rooms are absolutely top notch (with flat screens and more). Even the windows and lighting make it a great environment. They have a ton of great little touches like free sodas in the fridge, an actual Starbucks machine with free lattes, chias and coffees, and even custom digital key for getting in the office 24/7 whenever I need to. Beyond just the facilities, the staff is stellar. Very professional service, who are efficient and care about each tenants needs. Every time I have a question or need they haven't hesitated to help and get things rolling. In addition to that, they have gone above and beyond to make the environment is both work-friendly, quiet and professional, but they have made working in the current environment super safe. They follow all the local ordinances and have made the office safe and healthy, ensuring I don't get ill during all this pandemic craziness. The pricing for EZ Spaces is very good and I found it actually saved me money compared to other facilities that simply weren't as high quality. If you're looking for a workspace in a shared facility, you should at least come check out EZ Spaces. I used to work from home, but honestly I am much more productive at this office space. No more distractions and family members interrupting you to ask you how to upload cloud photos to facebook, thank God. I can't recommend EZ Spaces more highly. Check it out. You won't be disappointed.

A Month at Kiln. Here's What I've Learned…read more I've officially been at Kiln for a month now, so I feel like I can finally give a real review. The environment is incredible. It's unbelievably clean, the space is beautiful, there's a great energy, and the people are friendly. There are great places to work, meet, collaborate, or just find a corner and get something done. They even have a podcast studio, which for someone like me who creates for a living is a huge plus. I've also found it to be an incredibly inspiring place to write, think, and just let an idea develop. Sometimes I'll change where I'm working simply because a different part of the building puts me in a different headspace. And yes, somehow the afternoon snacks have become one of the joys of my day. It's one of those places where I actually look forward to walking in every day. But what really makes Kiln different is the people, and that starts from the top down. Anika, the Community Manager, has created a culture that honestly feels more like the level of hospitality you'd expect at a W Hotel than a coworking space. That carries through the entire team. Reigna, Sydney and Hailey are friendly, helpful, and genuinely seem to care about the people who are here. They call you by name. They stop and talk to you. They're always willing to lend a hand. Those things may sound small, but they're not. They make the experience personal. It doesn't feel transactional, and you certainly don't feel like you're just another membership or another person renting a desk. I'm a founder. I ask questions. A LOT of questions. I'm constantly thinking, building, figuring things out, and throwing ideas around, including some pretty crazy founder ideas. And not once have I felt like I was bothering someone. They listen, they engage, they answer questions, they offer a perspective, and they celebrate the wins. Sometimes they'll even say something that gives me an idea or a point of view I hadn't considered. When you're building things and spending a lot of your day trying to solve problems, having people around you who are genuinely interested and willing to engage matters. But when I say "the people," I don't just mean the Kiln team. I mean the members too. That's what actually makes this a community. I've met some really interesting, smart, creative people here, and there's a natural willingness to talk, share ideas, make introductions, help each other, or just have a conversation in the kitchen. You're surrounded by people building businesses, creating things, solving problems, and doing interesting work. Nobody has to manufacture the "community" part. It happens naturally. And I think that's one of the things Kiln gets so right. You can come in, put your head down and get a ton of work done, or you can walk out of your workspace and end up having a conversation with someone you never would have met otherwise. Some days I need the focus. Some days I need the interaction. Here, I get both. Kiln doesn't just give me a place to work. It gives me a place to think. There's a big difference between putting some desks in a beautiful building and calling it a coworking space and actually creating a place where people want to show up, work, connect, create, and build things. Kiln has done the latter. The beautiful space and amenities may get your attention, but the people, both the team and the members, are what make the place what it is. A month in, joining Kiln has genuinely been one of the best decisions I've made for where and how I work. And none of this will come as a surprise to the Kiln team because I probably tell them some version of it every day. I get more done here. I've met some great people. I enjoy being here. And when a place you technically go to "work" becomes somewhere you actually look forward to going, I think they're doing something right. Is Kiln right for everyone? Probably not. Is it right for you? Walk through the door. I have a feeling you'll know.

The office space itself is very clean, modern, and spacious so that I was able to work from almost any chair. Plenty of windows to let in the warm AZ sunshine so that the office didn't have that soul-sucking ambiance that so many others have. The kitchen had all the amenities you'll need like snacks, a fridge full of water, and a Keurig machine. I only had access to the public area and conference rooms based on my membership, but the privates suites looked like they had plenty of space and were customizable to your preferences. I had the chance to bring in clients semi-regularly to the conference rooms, and they've always complimented the layout of the entire area. Staff are very friendly, Jessica is an amazing office manager who will listen to your needs and keep the place constantly improving. Neighbors are all very respectful, professional, and focused on getting after that bread. Overall a no BS, no frills co-working space that I highly recommend, especially if you're based out of the Central/Midtown Phoenix area.
