Indy Wind Riders was able to squeeze us in for a hot air balloon ride right at the height of the fall leaves! I couldn't believe we were able to book less than a year in advance (but I guess Covid makes everything crazy.) Our pilot, Jordan, let us help set up the balloon and build the structure in the basket for the propane gizmo and it was really fun getting to be part of blowing balloon. Jordan also did such an amazing job maneuvering around the trees and over to things we wanted to see. His ground crew, Geoff and Anne, were friendly and helpful, and navigated perfectly to the field where we landed. read more
