She's smart, experienced, and super kind and easy to talk to while I'm in the chair. I got an eyebrow threading for the first time in foreverrrr too. I like my thick brows but I thought it could be nice to get them shaped. I am so glad I did. The technician (I wish I remembered her name!) respected that I wanted to keep them full, but the shaping she did made me feel so confident and pretty in the end. She even showed me how to use a little makeup to make them pop a bit. I also love that she didn't use any oils or products after threading. I stopped getting eyebrow services because I always seemed to break out from the "calming" oils that were applied post-shaping. I'm sure you can request it if you want, but I'm glad I got it without. I was pleasantly surprised by, and wasn't expecting, how cute and trendy it was inside! I ended up there because my normal threading place closes so early since COVID - boo to them! Immediately I was greeted and felt welcomed and well taken care of! They did a spectacular job on my eyebrows and I feel I'm very picky about them. I'm definitely going back! I didn't realize they are a full salon and offer more services than threading. Although my first time here, I think I found my new threading spot! He told me not to do it and after everything insists he was right. When I arrived Nousha, which is not her legal name, because I am suing her is extremely manipulative and said that she will do my hair instead of my brows which is what I went there for with the Groupon. So she chopped my hair off shorter than my shoulders after I told her how upset I was with how short my hair was after the beautician at ULTA chopped it! So then she made this home made brew of bullshit to color my hair which washed out the next day. She says she makes everything orgayat home from powder, rose, lavender you name it, but somehow there's absolutely no smell of any of those ingredients. Then she tried to sell me her home made products. I'm not interested. At the end of 6 ridiculous hours with this lady who uses her dogs webstto save money, complained about her x leaving her, said she had no relationship with her only son felt like she wanted to go back to Iran. It was honestly an overload and not at all what I went there for. I was told NOT TO BUY THE EYEBROW GROUPON because she would give me a better price in person. When I got there, which is 20 miles from home & I don't drive she talked me into doing my hair although I didn't ask for it and specifically went there ONLY to have my brows done for the GROUPON price of $236. Was 25 minutes late & didn't start braiding until 9:45am-10am. I was initially okay with this, as she was getting breakfast. However, upon her arrival, she said she arrived early & had decided to leave since there was a few minutes until my appt. The restaurant was on the way to the salon. Why she decided to waste 25 minutes of my time instead of getting breakfast on the way is just baffling? 2. Quoted $150-180 starting price on the phone for medium knotless. This went up to $280 at the salon, which included bringing the hair (she complimented the hair at first, and then said it was "bad hair" at the end ). She was going to charge me $300, but since she was late, she discounted it to $280. $250 would've been fairer, especially since she didn't touch my head until 10am. Given the state of my braids, I wish I would've went somewhere else because this was not worth $280. Some of the braids were curled prematurely, leaving a HUGE curl. Photos attached. If she hadn't been so behind on appts, she might've done better. 3. Booked a 10am & called them, asking them to come in at 1pm instead. Said her sister was supposed to help w/ my hair & needed to take an hour-long bus to get to the salon. This changed to "I'll call you when she's close" when 10am declined the time change. She proceeded to not call for over an hour, and 10am had to call HER for an update. She proceeds to tell client to come in, and they arrive before sister. Peco asks the 10am (btw, it's 12pm & 2hrs since their OG appt time) if they would be willing to meet sister at a different suite. The same sister that was supposedly on the way over an hour ago. Client declines and Peco immediately gets on them w/ "Ma'am you do not have to be upset." 10am requests pricing info, and Peco tells them to wait until sister arrives. 10am gets so upset at the utter lack of customer service that they walk out, and Peco FOLLOWS THEM to the parking lot. She proceeds to complain about them for the remainder of my appt. 4. Extremely rough with my hair, despite me showing visible pain. I actually had to comb out MY OWN HAIR because she refused to stop roughly pulling it out of the hair tie. I've NEVER had to comb my own hair during a hair appt. That solidified that I was never going to return. 5.Very push w/ my head. She was unable to stand due to her boot, and needed me to maneuver every which way. She repeatedly said that I was "too focused on my book and my phone that I'm not paying attention to my hair." I'm sorry, isn't that your job?! She complained that the appointment took her so long BECAUSE I wasn't able to keep my head the way she wanted it, despite being uncommunicative and trying to force my head in the position she wanted it. 6. Was on her phone the ENTIRE time. She didn't braid my hair for 10-15mins, because she was showing the person on the phone her boot? Her phone died and she spent another 10mins looking for a charger. For someone who complained that I wasn't focused, she certainly was not paying attention to my hair. I think the time she wasted yapping on the phone, looking for a charger, and chasing disgruntled customers is what took her so long, but I digress. 7. FORGOT that she had a 1pm appt booked. He didn't get serviced until 2:30pm because she wasn't done with my hair. If 10am had agreed to switch the time, she would've double-booked herself & been none the wiser. 8. Disclosed that she was not allowed to use Zelle anymore because she did not open a business bank account, and the bank revoked her access. Actually insane for a business owner to tell a client this, but unprofessional is the name of the game here! 9. Demanded I pay BEFORE service was completed, spewing racist justifications that black women come & get their hair done, only to run without paying. She said she can sometimes tell who by how they look. Absolutely disgusting. Find another place. This one ain't worth it at all.
