The instruction is great, there are classes morning noon and night to accommodate any schedule and the culture is so positive and supportive. If u are new to BJJ the structured curriculum will guide u in starting the journey. If u want to start slow every roll starts with an agreement on intensity level so u wont feel like ur someones grappling dummy if u don't feel ur ready. If you've been training a while and want hard rounds we do that as well. Ask for Ryan (hard rounds with Ryan available in Gi only, for NoGi please ask for Rick).

Invictus Training Center and Nate Morrison (and the other coaches) set a gold standard for what a…read moretrue martial arts academy should be. From day one, I was blown away by the culture here. Invictus is built around learning, open-mindedness, and respect for the evolution of the sport. Nate leads by example, constantly encouraging exploration of different styles and techniques rather than forcing a "one-size-fits-all" approach while maintaining a structured class with high percentage moves. The environment strikes the perfect balance: it's competitive enough to push you to improve, but not so much that it leads to injury. As a beginner, I've never once felt out of place. The training partners here are top-tier, technical, tough, but incredibly generous with their knowledge and genuinely invested in helping each other grow. You feel like part of a team from the moment you step on the mats.

I started my journey with Bob in '09 and worked with him for about a year and a half. My focus was…read moreon weight loss and overall fitness. I had some limitations due to an injury to and replacement of my hip so, while I was very motivated, I wasn't sure whether I could take full advantage of the program. I was so wrong. Not only did I drop about 40 lbs., I also got to a point of fitness that I never imagined given my limitations. I had been a gym rate before doing mostly spinning and the treadmill and some boot camp classes. It was boring but I did enjoy it. I had never done any real cross training like I did with Bob and once I started, he had me so motivated and driven, I wanted to do everything to my fullest potential. And it was SO fun! He was extremely knowledgeable about how to handle working around injuries and was also able to modify most exercises so that I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything. He listened to me and I trusted that he wasn't putting me at risk for any injuries. He was so invested in my success that I didn't want to disappoint him. The studio is neat and organized and the bathroom and shower is clean. I like that there is only 1 other person in the studio. For anyone looking to be healthy, whether for weight management or to optimize your fitness, this is the place to go. We don't have a lot of options in our area and even if we did, I wouldn't go anywhere else. Can't wait to go back now that I've had my surgery!!!

I found One2One BodyScapes in Westford, MA via a Yelp search, and I am so glad that I did! I took…read moreone of their introductory training specials and realized that one-to-one personal training was a great match for me, and that I was ready to make the investment in my own health. In the short time I have been there, almost 1 month, I have already noticed a significant improvement to my fitness and energy level, and I have lost 5 pounds. (Hopefully, just the beginning!) The trainers are highly skilled and excellent. I have worked with Krista, John and Resa, and they all make the workouts fun, yet challenging with a mixture of aerobic and weight conditioning customized for me. The hour flies by! There is no problem switching between trainers based on my schedule. They are very flexible about this. The facilities are excellent and always clean. It's convenient for me to workout, take a shower, and then head to the office - starting my day in a healthy manner and giving me an energy boost for work. I found this is also helping me cope with increased stress levels from my work. I am sure I am not the only one who finds themselves too busy to workout in a "normal" gym environment. Making an appointment to workout with a skilled trainer appeals to me, as it forces me to show up, just as I would for a doctor or dentist appointment. Knowingly myself, this is really the only way I can fit a workout into my busy schedule. Personal training is not an inexpensive option, but how does one put a price on having higher energy for work and family, losing weight, and hopefully living a longer and healthier life? Rather than always giving, sometimes you have to make a choice to invest in yourself. I feel this has been the right choice for me, and I highly recommend BodyScapes to others if you find yourself in need of extra motivation to get to the gym and workout consistently.

Best shop I've had the pleasure to work with!!!…read more I've been out of the archery scene for awhile due to life changes, injury, etc. Decided I wanted to dip back into things and needed the bow tuned along with some new arrows etc. I'm a target archer...not a hunter....and decidedly out of practice. It's a touch embarrissing to walk into a busy shop with so many capable archers and be so shaky at full draw. (My fundamentals are okay but I need some conditioning.) The new owner Jon (and, it must be said, his supporting staff) have simply been fantastic!!! Zero judgement!! Didn't make me feel small for not arriving with a camo painted 80lb hunting bow that I could hold at full draw for 10 minutes LOL (despite it being the start of hunting season when they're undoubtedly buried with work from that market segment.) His staff was welcoming & friendly to a person and he himself took a direct interest in my target gear, my target focused setup, and he spent more time than I should have expected talking setup, next steps, making recommendations, offering choices, and discussing with genuine interest, my goals and objectives on the indoor range. I'm a fan! If you are into archery, have thought about it, or just need something for your setup....these guys (and ladies) are the real deal matter what your focus might be! One encounters such good service so infrequently these days that I'm looking for more to "support my local sheriff! Gratitude to Jon and his staff!
