I ended up choosing David from David Robertson Design for a few reasons - firstly, his work - it's amazing, really cutting edge and modern - I knew it would attract the sort of buyer I was looking for in my location. A number of agents have made comments about how great the place looks after staging. In addition, David was upfront - I had a Craftsman in Seattle, it was hardly the type of home with the lighting etc that you would want to put modern furniture in, so David even said to be honest it probably wouldn't work in it's current setup so he in fact was honest with me and wasn't just trying to win business. I made some changes to my lighting and as you'll see from the pictures it's nothing short of amazing. His team over a two day period, brought all the pieces to the house and set things up, they asked not to be interrupted and for me to wait for the final result - I agree, not interrupting them and letting their creative skills work. The final result was amazing I wouldn't have changed as thing and i'm generally super pedantic about things. Price - given the huge size of the property 3000+ sq ft, the price was excellent at $5,800. In addition, the monthly fee was just $900 including tax. This compared to others who were quoting nearly $2,000 per month. This was a key contributing factor as I honestly wasn't sure how long it would take for me to sell my property. Finally, one mattress was running a bit flat, and David organized for one of his colleagues to come around even late in the evening on a weekend to get it resolved. Now that's service. Friendly, flexible (he was also able to change the date of the setup to a date which worked for me), made working with David amazing. I would absolutely use David again, I was told he also has a large warehouse of furniture so I guess unlike a smaller staging business the quantity of product and supply is there and there is no short changing - they even put towels, etc in the bathrooms. Even shampoos. Great work. Highly recommended, definitely one if not the best stager in Seattle.

The project was contracted to start on March 1, 2024, and finish by April 1, 2024, for $21,000. I paid a $10,000 cash deposit on March 13, 2024, but the contractor did not provide a receipt for the cash deposit. After signing the contract and accepting my deposit, the contractor told me someone would begin removing the concrete pad within about a week. Shortly after, someone arrived with an excavator, destroyed, and removed the concrete pad. They left behind an uneven dirt surface, which has created a serious safety hazard for me. Due to mobility issues, I now struggle to safely get in and out of my car. Despite repeated attempts to contact the contractor to discuss next steps and complete the work, he has ignored all my calls and messages. On one occasion, he agreed to visit my property to discuss the project but canceled the meeting and never followed up. My daughter attempted to help me by posting a review on their business page to warn others. In response, the business owner finally reached out, acknowledged their wrongdoing, and agreed to reimburse me the full deposit plus interest. However, they got Yelp to remove my daughter's post and are unreachable again. They have still not provided any reimbursement for the lost money or the destruction of my property. I was primarily in contact with Mike Isak (206-909-8125), but his colleague, Karina Momotyuk, was also involved. Another phone number associated with them is (253-409-6956). As a result, I am out my $10,000 deposit, unable to safely park my car, and left with no resolution. He has abandoned this job, caused destruction of my property, and has a complete lack of remorse or professionalism--particularly in taking advantage of someone in my position. We chose Rockwell/Chic at the recommendation of our contractor, as this was their preferred cabinet provider. This proved to be a mistake, as Liane Rockwell was more interested in satisfying her sense of design than meeting our needs within the space available. Our contractor needed to intervene to get the design changes we needed. Then the design mistakes showed up with the cabinets. Drawers would not fit under bathroom sinks and had to be remade, the kitchen appliance garage was missing the internal box and shelves, and the storage cabinet for our laundry room was delivered without anything to support the internal shelves and it was 2 inches shorter than needed, preventing the installation of the adjacent cabinets flush to the ceiling as desired. The Liane's response was, "Those things happen", and she refused to correct the situation. Leaving our contractor to deal with the cabinet manufacturer.
