The packaging was pretty and the strawberries looked nice and tasted good. The strawberries were fresh and although some were larger than others, they were all generally large. The chocolate was dark chocolate and the slight bitterness complemented the sweetness of the strawberries well. So a dozen chocolate-dipped strawberries is usually $29.99, but my mom got the box she gave me as part of their promotion where you get it free if you buy an edible arrangement over $50. She bought an edible arrangement for an extended family member in a different city and the store had no problems with giving the free strawberries to me here in Ottawa. My mom said that the service was always good and they were really friendly with her on the phone. When we went to pick up the strawberries the person working there was very nice. I had heard about Edible Arrangements but I had never bought anything from them nor tasted anything made by them before. After this experience I would not hesitate to buy from them in the future. I think that they are a good alternative to flowers. I know that I personally prefer food to flowers, lol. This location is in Barrhaven in the plaza with the movie theatre. It's tucked away to the left of the movie theatre, near Shawarma Heaven and next to the vacuum store. Lots of free parking.

The flowers had to fit in a small glass box, around the urn. I was served by Lynette, a true artist! She immediately called the funeral home to obtain the dimensions of the box and started sketching out desings with dimensions/ created a maquette of the box with a vase to replicate the urn. Lynette was able to provide us with ample visuals of what the arrangement would look like, and we were right to have full faith in her abilities because the final product was SPECTACULAR. My grandmother wanted a cascade of pink and white roses.
