Rates are competitive but everyone's situation is going to be different. Shop around of course. Over the years I have had to file claims for both home and auto. My damn teenage kids wreaking our cars. The process with Farm Bureau is fast, fair and they always do the right thing for their customers. Never had a situation where I had to fight or dispute payout on a claim. You do have to pay a small yearly membership fee but it is worth it. You do get benefits like access to a public notary in their office, which is convenient when you need that service. The online site is good enough and lets you schedule payments, review statements, etc.. Only downside is your agent will call you about once a year asking if you want to come into the office to discuss life insurance. Whole life I'm sure. This specific Mocksville office is very friendly. Nice new building. Highly recommend Farm Bureau as a whole and this Mocksville office.
