If you do, you will have better luck talking to AI. I have had 4 episodes of patellar subluxation since June 20th. In order to be seen right away, I said I was going for the annual health visit and had an appointment arranged for the next day. When I tried to make the appointment for a sick visit, the next available appointment was mid-August! As of today, 7/29/2026, I have had 1 physical visit which only resolved to send me for an X-Ray of the knee (after that no follow up). Then I had another dislocation, call on demand to see if I could get a referral for an orthopedic doctor or an MRI. That was a no-no, instead they told me I had to go in person again (I had just been there 1 week ago). Then my patella dislocated for 3rd time, went to one of their urgent care centers which proceeded to try to give me another x-ray and informed me they could not give me a referral for an MRI. But the silver lining they could give me a referral for an Orthopedic Doctor. Long story short, that was on July 22, and I am still waiting for that referral. Already had my 4th patellar subluxation. And only God knows when I will receive the referral and hopefully the orthopedic doctor can see me sometime this year. Their team is truly kind and professional but unfortunately that does not get my knee fixed. This day and age animals get better health care than humans! Sanitas shame on you!

While some nurses were helpful, many at North Shore seemed unsure of what they were doing. This hospital needs major changes--either to shut down temporarily and reopen with better staff or to find ways to improve immediately. There will continue to be negative reviews until the issues are addressed. It's essential to hire more competent nurses who are genuinely willing to help. After transferring my father to UM Hospital, he received immediate attention, including lab tests and a PET scan. That's how you can tell a hospital cares about getting you better. One of the drs on my case can in to update me and I asked him to let them know I need to be. cleaned up. He said he would. I started the process of getting the bed pan at 9;30 am and it is now 10:33am and I am still waiting. PCT comes in now saying she forgot. It happens. TRUlY UNACCEPTABLE . There needs to be follow through for the patient. I don't bother or ask for anything just a bed pan and this is what I had to experience. Hopefully someone will read this and address the issue so others won't have to go thro this.

I originally thought my breathing problem might have been related to mold discovered at the house where I had been staying. However, the doctors determined that the cause was a heart arrhythmia, which could increase the risk of a blood clot and stroke. I am very grateful that the hospital team identified this serious condition. Everyone has been kind, courteous, attentive, and helpful. I was also pleasantly surprised by the hospital food--it was very tasty! I enjoyed the pot roast, and the following day they served salmon. A couple of weeks in a row of heavy lifting at both the gym and work caught up to me and left me a little run down. I'd heard about Dr. GoodPrice from a friend who worked in the area, and came here since my usual provider didn't have an appointment. It's basically an independent pharmacy with medical assistants, a pharmacy doctor and ARNP's on staff. They're located right on 12th Avenue near Marlins' stadium and even have a free parking they share with like two other businesses. Once I came in and filled their digital "paperwork" out I received a basic medical screening. One of the nurses prepped the IV bags, patiently injected me and I sat in a recliner, akin to how your phone sits while getting charged. About an hour later, I was ready for the full moon party (and hopefully a better work week ahead)! They also do full medical checkups, treat minor emergencies like sore throats (I believe they're open until 8PM) as well as provide weight management injections.
