I received the most relaxing pedicure ever from the owners daughter Lindsey. She took her time and paid attention to detail when polishing. Everyone that entered seemed to have built a great relationship which keeps you coming back. I also got my gel polish changed and the color was perfect for what I wanted. Lisa has an adorable boutique in AB. She's been in the nail industry for 20 plus years so she knows her stuff. It's more than knowing nail art, she knows how to get your nails healthy and keep them there! Recently she started making her own body scrubs, bath bombs etc. THEY ARE AMAZING!! They're so much better than the crap you buy in the store! She's ingredient conscious so none of that mess that's mass produced. Come and see Lisa and experience a real artist at work. Her foot and leg massage was especially relaxing and one of the best I've had. The woman who did my manicure was just as great. I came into Purity Nails with my parents on a Saturday afternoon, and they treated us great! While…read morethey do offer walk-ins, I called ahead to schedule a same-day appointment to ensue all three of us could be taken care of at the same time. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and directed to select our polishes. They were able to immediately seat us in the pedicure chairs and have a staff member work on us right away. The staff was very friendly and attentive, checking in to make sure we got the manicures and pedicures we wanted. The pedicure was very typical to what you'd expect at any other nail salon, finished with hot towels wrapped around your shins. Tools they used were clean, and they had great attention to detail. I wasn't a fan of the massage chair, as it felt very weak and beeped every time I pressed a button. Wasn't awful, but I've experienced better. There's plenty of magazines to read and also a live television to watch while you are waiting (the local news was on when I was in). Purity Nails advertises their gift certificates, but those expire 6 months after purchase. If you end up getting one, I'd highly recommend paying very close attention to the expiration date! Their prices are great. They have three tiers of manicures and pedicures. At the lowest level, you can get a regular manicure for $12 and a spa pedicure for $22. I'm pretty sure there's a discount for the women's manicure and pedicure ($32 for the combo, but don't quote me on that). I only say that because a men's manicure and pedicure is $35, and the men's spa pedicure a la carte is $25 instead of $22 for women's. Good value, will return for nail services when I'm in town!
