When we walked in, the girl at the front counter seemed annoyed that we came in without an appointment, even though there was only 1 other person inside getting nails done. We were seated quickly, but they came out with trays to start working on our feet without us even looking at a service menu. They seemed surprised when I asked to see one. We picked the Mimosa pedicures, which apparently didn't come with mimosas, as we were both just given a bottle of water. The massage functions on the pedicure chair had no way to just do a full back massage with kneading on manual mode, only did full back on auto, which I thought was strange. After we were done, the smell coming from one of the lotions they used was very strong. I had to soak the sandals I was wearing in water and detergent overnight to get the smell out of them. I could smell the fragrance in my car for 2 weeks, and when I washed the pants I was wearing that day, all of my laundry ended up with that same fragrant smell. I had to wash the laundry 2 more times to get the smell out of my clothes. I don't know what that lotion is called, but it's terrible stuff to smell like that for so long!

See in the past when I did have my nails done I was always super picky and stuck with one nail tech. I immediately logged onto to Yelp to search reviews. Time was ticking so my daughter suggested that we go to Lynn since we've always seen it in passing. "But they don't have any reviews" is what I kept telling her. She kept insisting while I was extremely skeptical. We arrived around 7:30 pm thinking that they closed at 9. The sign on the door read 10 am - 8 pm. I asked if it was too late but they welcomed us in. Lena was my nail technician. She was very pleasant and seemed to be very experienced and knowledgeable. My daughter helped me to explain what I wanted and she knew exactly what I was talking about. The end results are exactly what I asked for I love my nails! The $45 tab came as a bit of a shock at first until she broke the charges down and my daughter assured me that was right. We didn't get the name of the tech who attended to my daughter but she seemed rushed and a bit agitated. This may have been her normal attitude but this is how she came across to me. My daughter used the terms rude and off putting. The prices are listed high on the wall to the right when you come in. I didn't notice it until Lena pointed it out to me. I wasn't fond of the decor but the place was very clean. I didn't get to see the restrooms so I can't comment on it. One last thing that I must say, I love the fact that Lena spoke English. Even when her co workers spoke to her in their native tongue,her response to them was always in English. As I have stated before in another business review, we (my family) make it a point not to speak in our native tongue around others while we are being of service. It's my opinion that it's a bit rude after the person has initially heard us speaking in English. All in all I will most definitely return and hopefully become a regular client of Ms Lena.
