A friend of mine wanted to get pedicures while on her lunch break, so we just picked this place since it was nearby. When we walked in, the girl at the front counter seemed annoyed that we came in without an appointment, even though there was only 1 other person inside getting nails done. We were seated quickly, but they came out with trays to start working on our feet without us even looking at a service menu. They seemed surprised when I asked to see one. We picked the Mimosa pedicures, which apparently didn't come with mimosas, as we were both just given a bottle of water. The massage functions on the pedicure chair had no way to just do a full back massage with kneading on manual mode, only did full back on auto, which I thought was strange. After we were done, the smell coming from one of the lotions they used was very strong. I had to soak the sandals I was wearing in water and detergent overnight to get the smell out of them. I could smell the fragrance in my car for 2 weeks, and when I washed the pants I was wearing that day, all of my laundry ended up with that same fragrant smell. I had to wash the laundry 2 more times to get the smell out of my clothes. I don't know what that lotion is called, but it's terrible stuff to smell like that for so long! read more

Kinda tired of the pedicure techs who speak ZERO English. Trying to explain what you want/need to multiple people who then translate it takes the relaxation away. Inconsistent service is a GUARANTEE. Been coming here for years and I might have to call it quits. Did jelly pedicure (which they advertise in the front). The pedicure tech had NO idea what it was. The pedicure wasn't relaxing because the tech seemed uncomfortable working with the jelly. read more

I went to Posh Nails to get one nail repaired. Posh Nails didn't do my nails prior but I was willing to pay for a broken nail and possibly get additional services like a full face wax. When I walked in I told the desk receptionist (which was a 16 year old teenager) what I needed. She said, did you get your nails did here? I replied no, then she said one moment I will ask the workers can they assist you. She came back 5 minutes later after speaking with them and said they can't fix only one nail come back Monday. I immediately asked to speak to a manager. She replied the manager will not be here and won't be here until Monday. I got a card, wrote down the time of the incident and the date. I called inside to ask to speak to someone in charge and that's when the receptionist said there isn't anyone in charge you must wait until Monday. I asked her how old was she and that's when she replied, I'm 16 years old. I asked that because she looked as if she was 11 or 12 years old. I checked the hours of operation online and it says that the nail salon is open on Sundays. I'm not understanding why she told me to come back on Monday. I feel like that they wasn't respecting my business because it was one nail repair which was very unprofessional and disappointing. I spend really good money on my nails and I could've been a repeat customer in the future. I've did business with this company in the past and I'm very surprised their customer service isn't professional anymore. Whether I'm spending $10 or $200 all business matter and they shouldn't turn down any services. All money adds the same. I didn't need a full set or a fill in. I needed one nail repair. They definitely lost a good potential customer. I will be speaking to a manager Monday reporting this inappropriate behavior. I do not recommend this nail salon. P.S. Went in for an acrylic take off (soak) and a basic manicure with clear polish. And was left like this, I think I could've done it better myself. For starters they weren't soaked off they were cut and scraped off by a fake nail tip. Manicure was left with rough edges and left over skin on the side, manicures are not done like this. $17 for a basic manicure without gel polish, was a decent price. My powder nails are ok......I made a last minute decision to get my birthday / vacation nails done here, they are down the walk way from my Publix and I just said "what the heck", .....my pedicure is the worst, white bits of polish everywhere and my toe nails are not shaped up at all, I will have to find someone to fix them for me. I saw pretty good reviews on Yelp for Posh Nails and planned on walking in without an appointment. I only had an hour-ish before dinner, but I figured I had plenty of time for an SNS manicure, give or take 10-20 minutes. I'm ok with arriving fashionably late with a fresh manicure! I was one of the few customers in the salon, but it was closer to dinnertime so I wasn't super worried. The soak to get my previous color off took a while, even though it wasn't super thick. But after soaking she took her time, which is always nice. However, she did so many coats of dip powder that the completed result was so thick and slightly gaudy - as I do prefer a more natural look. I suppose my mistake was not telling her from the beginning I preferred a thinner manicure. My nail technician was very detailed and took her time - I was nearly an hour late to dinner after the nearly 2 hour SNS manicure, and I wish I could say I was exaggerating. Overall, I'm not sure I'll be back. I don't usually mind if my manicures take longer if it's done well, but this wasn't a flawless job, either. It's a bit out of the way for me, so if I am in the area again looking for a quick SNS manicure, I probably wouldn't come back here. read more

I've been visiting this salon for 6 months now and my nails + cuticles have gotten significantly healthier. This place is rather open and when you first walk in, the amount of pedicure chairs can be overwhelming, but that is a big reason why they are rarely busy-- they have enough seats at any point of the day-- walk ins looking for a new place TRY THIS OUT. I've gotten my nails done a few times by the same nail techs, this includes touch ups/ fill-ins and I can honestly say they know their stuff and are trustworthy. I'll ask for something, and they'll give me their professional opinion and feedback as to why I should take their suggestions. Always gentle and never forceful, which is rare with nail salons. Their gel nail colors last. At one point I had a set in for over 3 weeks and no chipping. Did I mention they have a BUNCH of colors? And always on trend with what's seasonally "in style." Seriously-- if you don't have a nail color-- come in and you'll find one. Have one in mind? I promise you'll find the ideal match. I asked for a specific style/design (which is shown in the second picture). The nail tech told me she can do it. All in all, I am not satisfied with how my nails turned out. My nails are bulking-looking and and they are not flat. When my fingers are side-by-side, the nails are pointed upward instead of pointing straight. So I used to go to Dina's nails in Grayson but then she ended up cutting me by rushing my nails so not going back there :( I came here first time on a Saturday and It wasn't busy just couple of other women there. I was afraid of a guy doing my nails so I quickly said I wanted a female to do them. I had Mimi and she's a cute younger girl who did a great job. I could tell what the other reviewers meant when there's some doubt and hesitance when it comes to doing a schedule of things like cutting nails first then filing then cuticles. I felt like everything was kinda just being done again and again out of order but to give benefit of doubt their goal is to let you walk out with great looking nails. She did a great job all in all I loved my pedicure leaving and she did a great lengthy leg massage. The only thing I'd recommend is if you like your nails cut short do them at home first then come for a pedicure. I had my SNS done by John...very unprofessional...he never said at least two words in English,...continually speaking to everyone around him in his native language laughing and not engaging me or any of his other customers...his work was horrible....after a few days I had several cracks...and tips of my nails splitting(within one week) and when I returned to get it fixed...he pushed off his error on another young lady..never acknowledging his error. Pretty standard but I'm very particular about how my feet, well nails in general, are done. Not an anxiety inducing experience. I thought this place was good give me the results I asked for. I requested a gel set on my normal nail and white toes The "gel" was not even gel. That or it wasn't cured properly. The paint moved later on that night like normal polish and the wouldn't come off when I tried to peel it off like 3 weeks later. I had to file off. The French manicure was the worst paint I ever received in my life normally the polish stays on my toes forever until I take it myself. This paint was completely gone from my toes in less than 10 days. I was gonna come back the next day to request both get fixed but I decided not to because I didn't wanna be that person. This was my first and only time coming. It's been a while since this happen but I went w a friend and the lady doing my pedicure was being so rude when she asked if she was my mom. I have had a soak off before when visiting here and only got charge five dollars which is why I returned today when I got to soak off the young man rushed doing the process because he was in between doing a gel pedicure so when it got time for him to shape up my nails he rushed through it did not buff my fingers left them dry and ashy and oh by the way I have dead nail flakes hanging from my fingers which I have included in the picture. Now the price list does say five dollars for a soak off but today they wanted to charge me $10 and they said it was because I did not get any other service On my hands. So that being said, please be forewarned this place is not professional they do not have good customer service when I tried to explain to them the price that was on the menu all they said was "sorry". I even wondered if the prices change depending upon the person who was the customer but that is another story and a wonder for another day. I decided to give this shop a chance since the nail salon I visited previously was busy. I did a quick yelp search and saw a few reviews and decided that this place was worth a visit. On first sight you can tell this salon is new. Clean tiles, new pedicure chairs, and lots of nail stations. My normal manicure is a full set SNS. When they showed me the colors I was so excited because most places only have the basics. The have a wide range of glitters and chrome too. I'm simply but I like options. Mike has done my nails a few times and he was awesome. He takes his time and the shape always comes out perfect. The nails are never thick and I haven't had any imperfections like gouges or ridges. His wife does a great job to and she is a great conversationalist. The one time I decided to go somewhere else because they were not there I immediately had regrets. I had 3 broken nails within a week and that have never happened to me at Posh. This past week, Tina did my nails and I have been getting nothing but compliments on my nails. One thing that occurs here that you'll find at most nail salons where English is not a primary language is that staff will have conversations in their native language with one another while servicing you. This could be off putting to some. I have heard one of the managers encouraging staff to communicate in English. Overall I'm confident that this will be my regular nail salon. read more

Visited the salon with family, 3 pedicures, SnS, New Set and a fill in..., 260$ later, very nice, pedicures were good, however the basic nail polish application after 3x was terrible, I was informed it was the polish, due to it not being gel... the owner repainted and did additional nail cleanup. Paid a decent amount for my birthday nails only for the gel to start chipping off by that evening. I also showed a picture and picked out the colors that I wanted. When they started putting on the polish it was red and not orange like requested. They continued to say because it was just regular polish on my toes but when we got to the gel nails it was red. I also asked for gold and they said they only had a few options to choose from on that same nail book they gave me. The color is champagne, unfortunately. When I went to check out there was several other golds to choose from. She started it was and but it wasn't. Pictures of what I asked for vs. What I got. Also, the chipping before my birthday gathering that night. My toenails are chipping as well. I think she was upset that I chose the basic pedicure vs the 75 dollar one she was trying to sell me on. I hate to give less than 4 stars, but I just have to share my less than pleasant experience: Scheduled a 9:30am pedicure for 4, was asked to come in closer to 9:45 so we did. Had I known it was probably because they don't have hot water in the morning. I would have made it later or chosen a different place entirely. One of us had to wait 20 minutes in tepid water while the other 3 were taken care of right away. Then when she was finally taken care of the man who was giving her the pedicure didn't seem to have much experience. Pros: the place is clean and the ladies did a great job. Especially Singhi (she was amazing)! The ladies did try to compensate for the lack of hot water, but the owner should really fix that problem or warn customers before allowing someone to setup a morning appointment. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. This has been the worst experience ever. I have natural nails and I always get gel polish. My pedicure water was cold. When I asked for the water to be warmer, the technician wasn't happy. She continued to knick me while using the electric drill. The package I requested comes with a glass of wine, soda, or a bottle of water. I asked for wine. Without anyone asking what i wanted or suggested that this is a part of the package. I specifically asked for white Zippin dale, and I proceeded to say the pink one because I realized she didn't understand English. She gave me red wine.
