The store had an incredible collection of outdoor (and indoor!) furnishings. Jason and the saleswoman who was on the floor were very kind and didn't rush us - it was the end of their day, too! Lucky for them we already knew what we wanted. (They also had a real sense of style and design to help us select pillow fabrics.) Before we left we bought a couch, 2 chairs and a table! So happy they are close to us and I can't express enough how impressed I was with the showroom and the staff knowledge of products and their overall customer service! I placed an order at the beginning of April. At no point during checkout was it clear that the item…read morewas a preorder. After waiting over a month with no updates, I had to reach out twice before I was finally told that the item was a preorder. Even then, customer service was unable to provide any estimated shipping date. Since I still had no timeline and did not receive a response within their stated response window, I emailed requesting that my order be canceled. When I received no reply, I disputed the charge with my credit card company. Now, more than three months after placing the order, I have been told the item is suddenly ready to ship. The company has re-billed my card but is also telling me that it is no longer possible to cancel the order or prevent it from shipping. My biggest concern is the lack of transparency and communication throughout the entire process. If an item is a preorder, that should be clearly disclosed before purchase, along with realistic expectations for fulfillment. Better communication and more responsive customer service would have prevented this situation entirely. Based on this experience, I have no confidence in ordering from this shop again and would not recommend it to others.
