I rented a Snow Cone machine for a work event on Monday, July 3. I only rented one machine for just a few hours, and hate to think the incredibly poor service was because of how small my order was but yet here we are. I was quoted a price for a snow cone machine with cart and attendant, and then received an email from Vinny with my quote and a credit card authorization form attached. All details appeared correct based on my phone call, so I signed and sent back. Later that week he let me know there would be an additional $100 fee because July 3rd was considered a holiday. After a bit of back and forth via email with me expressing my disappointment (this was never mentioned on the phone or in the quote, and the date was known since the beginning) I went ahead with the order because I knew how happy it would make my staff. The attendant arrived that day (she was lovely), set up everything, and the staff enjoyed it. But there wasn't a cart - just a snow cone machine on a folding table. When I asked Vinny about this, he said the cart cost more. When I let him know I was under the impression that my quote included the cart because that's what we spoke about, and exactly what was written on the sheet I signed, he stopped responding. So that's brings me to today! Paid over $500 for a box of ice on a table.

The tables were OK but the carnival games were a whole other story. These are the times when I wished I could give zero stars or even negative stars. Don't be fooled by the general high rating! I spoke with the representative and he made me think that nothing would have gotten wrong. I was assured by his professional customer service but on the day of the event, everything went awry. The delivery men wouldn't bring our items to the 5th floor, speaking of an elevator fee that we didn't pay. Not once was that fee mentioned and the items came so gut wrentchingly nasty that me being a popcorn lover I don't even want to know whether or not people clean their machines. We had to clean the machines ourselves. At first the box of materials were not left with the rest of the items. When I did find it, I discovered that the box was just a ripped up cardboard box that had the popcorn oil all over it. Hey party rental thanks for not even providing us a full fledged box, you're too cheap to even give us a new cardboard box for our machine supplies. I kept calling the guy too because the two machines had the worst instructions ever. It might as well have said "put oil, put kernels". Where are the oil to kernel ratios? Good thing I'm more familiar with the cotton candy machine, but one of the heating knobs were actually missing. I almost set our event venue on fire with that dang popcorn machine, with smoke everywhere. Perhaps you guys should clean your machine before using it, so you don't kill yourself or others. The cotton candy machine had all this already burnt sugar on it and the bowl section was covered in dirt. After a while of calling the rep, I would say that he shut off his phone because it went to voicemail. Sorry to bother you, but if you guys did your job right the first time I wouldn't have had to reach you. For some reason also they didn't even pick up their machines next day, why would any event venue be okay with you picking up after 4 days later?
