This is a somewhat regular stop for us for farm fresh vegetables throughout the growing season, and of course the occasional fresh cider doughnuts. This year we ordered a fresh Turkey for Thanksgiving from them and a small apple crisp as well as a strawberry rhubarb pie- What a great turkey wasn't sure what to expect, never had a fresh turkey, it was great! I am not giving Ingaldsby Farm this rating for their products but rather conflicting I formation. On line hours are stated closed Saturday and Sunday and Thursday. On there door hours are everyday. I have been ordering a fresh turkey for 6-7 years now and while I didn't work far from the farm I was able to order by going thrust lunchtime, Now that I work from home last year called and ordered over the phone For 3 weeks I tried calling at l different times and the phone was never answered. So I drove there Tuesday ( 30 miles each way ) and ordered the fresh turkey. I mentioned to the young woman behind the desk the issue with the phone and the difference on days/hours, did not sound like she would be addressing it. This is THE BEST PLACE ever. I don't live in the area but I drive multiple times a month in the spring and summer from Boston because there's nothing like it. First of all, it's adorable. The shop is super cute and they have fresh produce and baked goods, iced and hot coffee and tea with indoor seating. Everyone here is super nice and I love them. They do have a bathroom in the back of the building, you have to go around the back for it. The two best things are the PYO and the animals. The playground is also great but this place gives you containers of veggies for $1.50 to feed the goats and sheep. It's SO MUCH better than other farms where you just get little pellets. My kids have so much fun. It's never busy. The PYO is laid back and plentiful. I have found that other places are crazy busy and have too much going on on the weekends when you're getting apples or whatnot. Ingaldsby never disappoints. There's always apples to be picked and you aren't crammed in a crowded orchard with tons of people and blocked off from accessing the trees that actually have fruit left to pick. Who does that? Why block us off from getting the good stuff?! Ingaldsby doesn't do that. They're perfect and I love it. I want to keep this place a secret so it always stays the way it is but I also want them to make money and others to enjoy what an amazing place this is. I think it would be great if they sold lunch foods like sandwiches or maybe ice cream, but don't worry Ingaldsby, you don't have to change we will always come. They do have hay rides but you'll have to call them for the schedule. I love this place. Please sell some Ingaldsby t-shirts and hoodies so I can represent! read more

This place is a hidden gem! My friends and I came here for some socially distanced apple picking, and had a great time. Large orchard/plenty of space for picking and distancing from other groups. Plenty of full delicious apples to be had (you may need to go deeper than the first two rows). Also picked some pumpkins, got some fresh cider (to make mulled cider) and grabbed some of their amazing cider donuts. Would definitely love to revisit! read more

Very disappointing. Apple picking was outright bad. $20 for a small bag and the trees available sucked (see pic). We struggled to fill half the tiny bag. Sunday afternoon and they were out of cider donuts as well as most bakery items. Not much else to do. We left after a short time. read more

I drove from Boston to Ingaldsby Farm for corn yesterday. The fresh corn was old and dried out. Worst corn I have ever seen at a farm stand, should have been thrown out. My 2 year olds loved it here! It's not fancy, but perfect for seeing/feeding a few animals, picking fruit and using the play area. Staff was very friendly. Perfect for a weekday afternoon "adventure" for young kids. read more

Yea! I wasn't sure what to expect since I wasn't able to find much info on-line but we decided to take a chance after reading the glowing review posted in 2006. Turns out that this was the perfect place to enjoy a few hours out of the house in between our 14 month old's naps. Our son LOVED being able to walk freely around the farm animals (peacocks, chickens, a turkey, donkey, sheep, goats, pigs, and rabbits). We didn't use them but there was a nice play area with sand toys and a wooden train. The best part is that all of this is free! There is an average sized farm store where we picked up some delish pumpkin bread, fresh blackberries, strawberries, and a slush puppy for the ride home! It was mum season and they looked gorgeous, as did all their perennials and herbs--prices seemed in line with what I've seen other places. I will definitely be back!! read more

I moved away from the area 11 years ago and I must say that nary a Saturday Morning goes by without me waking up and thinking about a Blueberry Muffin and a Columbian Supremo from Ingaldsby Farm. These Folks do it right - from their Garden Area to their Country Store. The first time I went was with My Mom who loved to walk in their field with a nice cup of coffee. We even got all our great Christmas Trees from The Farm. Ingaldsby's hanging plants are choice and when brought indoors for Winter will survive for years. This place is fabulous! The produce is superb and well priced. The store sells all sorts of produce, frozen pies, fresh baked goods (try the cider donoughts) and has a slurpy machine for the kids and cute seasonal decor for sale for your home. The best part - they have rabbits, chickens, goats, sheep and pigs out bag for children to feed, picnic tables to sit and enjoy and a large wooden train, puppet show theatre and sand area for kids to play. You can walk in their fields, just be respectful of the produce! My son and I visit at least once a week spring through fall! read more

Hidden gem! Loved this place. First visit yesterday, as a play date and had a great day. There's their own veggie baskets sold for a little over a dollar, in their great market, to hand feed the sheep and goats. Sand area was fun for the kids - had little shaded houses to pretend they were selling ice cream and use their imaginations. Their minds were running wild with the choices there were. In August they had peach and raspberry picking, as well. Store sells great homemade donuts, coffee and tons of fresh veggies. Come early, pack a lunch and be prepared to spend some time. Early Saturday morning, No sleep and hyper toddlers? Head here for coffee, donuts, and animals and sandbox for kids and table for parents. We live near by and never heard of Ingaldsby until a friend mentioned in passing. Dropped by one weekend with other sleep deprived parents and mingled over coffee while kids made friends with the animals and other kids. Love these little farms! My adult son and I visit this place as often as we can. We love to visit the bunnies, peacocks (once we got a great show from the male), roosters, goats. The goats will eat leaves, etc right out of your hand - they don't bite. The cider donuts are great. We picked strawberries when they were in season, and raspberries. An older man (the owner, I believe) drives around in his truck and offers people a ride. Pleasant man. Just a nice place to wander around for a couple of hours. Great place for kids, too. read more

This is a great place for the whole family. The farm has plenty for the kids to do - play area, animals to look at / feed, hay rides & corn maze (in season). The staff is always very friendly. The kids are encouraged to eat the fruit as they pick their own - unlike some other farms in the area. The farm stand has a HUGE selection and they have the best donuts. Some weekends there are bands playing music. The prices are among the most reasonable we have seen. read more
