This place has really gone downhill in the last 1-2 years. Aside from the ridiculously high prices on everything, the only reason I ever bothered to even visit this store anymore was to get a plate from the deli. The last (and final) time I went in was shortly before 12pm, and they didn't have ANYTHING out yet. No food or even any soups available....at lunchtime. The service here has never been that great. But this was downright pathetic. Between the high prices and the deli being nonexistent, I'm done shopping here. read more

This store always has a lot of expired things on the shelf and I have to move them out of the way to get to fresh stuff. I bought cookies last week that made me VERY sick. I looked at the date after I vomited several times and they expired March 2025! It is DECEMBER 2025! It looks like they put these cookies in the back of the store last winter and brought them out this winter, unacceptable! They also have numerous frozen cakes with NO EXPIRATION dates on them! There have been times Ingles Deli was one of my favorite go to for FRIED CHICKEN. Today I waited 20min for Hot chicken to get home the chicken not thoroughly cooked, the squash grossly squishy, the cornbread rock hard, the string beans just oily no flavor at all. Not sure if they have new cooks the dynamics in the kitchen has definitely changed. Will think twice about getting food from the deli again!!! read more

Hello everyone, I am Tiffancy and this is "A Fancy Review!" I frequent Ingles often, I purchase my walnuts, cashews and almonds from the dispensers they have set up. I'm able to purchase just the amount I need. I also enjoy taking advantage of the Deli and Bakery. My Mom and I started meeting at Ingles occasionally during her lunch hour. They have an indoor/outdoor seating area for those eating from Deli. The indoor seating area has large windows where the sun shines in keeping the place nice and cozy. It also serves as a protection wall in the cooler months for the outdoor seating. I started a 21 day detox and that includes eating more raw veggies and fruits. I am not the gold medalist of eating veggies needless to say I am also not excited to meal prep veggies. With that being said, here is the purpose of my review. I walked inside and for the first time ever I can say I was extremely grateful to see a bright, colorful, clean and shiny salad bar! I did say I frequent Ingles often and I knew it was a salad bar there. But, did I pay it any mind? Nope! I glanced and continued on to what I enjoy! The Bakery! But today it was the salad bar! Once around and out everything ready and available. Thank you Ingles! I do have some recommendations... The check out lines were full of grocery shoppers, making longer waits for other consumers on their lunch breaks. Might I suggest adding a register over by the salad bar to use as a deli check out. I went to purchase avocado's and tomatoes, but the avocados were soft and the tomatoes did not look happy. I did purchase my produce from another store. This location must be the Super Ingels store because when I walked inside I saw things that I've never seen in any other location such as a the corner cafe, huge salad bar, and a deli that prepares hot food. I was pleasantly surprised because I didn't think Ingles offered those kind of amenities. Also, I got extremely excited when I saw they have donut happy hour from 6pm-close. Once I got home I noticed the donuts weren't to great but its probably because they're old. Another mentionable is the seafood section. Ingels by far has the largest selection of shellfish compared to the other supermarkets I shop at, with the exception of the farmers market. What I've noticed as well is that this store doesn't have the sales that Im used to getting at Publics. My bill is always higher when I shop here. read more

Do not use the Bakery! The Rep I just encountered (Myra) was one of the nastiest B _ _ __ _ _ I have ever encountered! I attempted to order a cake, after calling all morning and the line being continuously busy, someone finally answered and I was transferred to the bat from HELL. Her tone from the beginning was nasty, she lacks the skills necessary to be in a position serving the public. I wanted a half sheet yellow cake with Butter cream frosting. Her "We don't have butter cream cake" Me - "I said Butter cream frosting with Yellow Cake" Her (Rudely) "You want a yellow Cake with Chocolate Frosting?" I ended up ending the call and not ordering the cake due to her obviously having a bad day? bad life? Still trying to Figure! read more

I haphazardly walked into Ingles to get a pineapple and bananas for my smoothie, but was hoping to get a leather/vinyl patch kit and shoe polish shine kit all at the same time. This is haphazard because I initially stumbled into Ingles because I needed cashback for getting my car detailed across the street (they only take cash and check - btw, who carries cash and even bothers to get checks from their bank anymore?). So, walked in with my special request. Went straight to the customer service window where the manager took me under his wing to help me find my completely strange request (the leather/vinyl thing and polish kit) to no avail. So to the pineapple and banana section I was off. I hadn't eaten all day and would be going to the gym after the car was cleaned and sparkled and asked the manager (I wish I could remember his name) if there was anything I could grab real quick that required no preparation. He suggested the section that makes food. A $5 lunch special thing. So I got the pineapple, bananas, and a $5 lunch (thought it was going to be typical grocery store fare to hold me over). I selected the baked chicken (leg and thigh) completely marinated and submerged in the creamy sauce, macaroni, and mashed potatoes (with seasoning and crazy smooth and whippy). The store is beautiful; the staff is kind, helpful, and generous; and the food was inspiring enough to want to figure out how to make that at home myself (I do my own magical cooking at home). The moment I walked into Ingles, I was greeted delightfully by all staff. I did not get my weird requests (shoe polish and leather/vinyl kit - but didn't expect to), but left feeling my day was imminently improved as I still had much to accomplish in my to-do list. Stopped here while in the area and they had a BOGO deal running. At checkout, the sale price wasn't added and the rude cashier refused to apply it. She said I needed an Ingles card in order to get the deal even though that was nowhere listed on the sale tag. She didn't offer to sign me up for a card or use her own (all stores give the cashier a miscellaneous card to use for customers who don't have one). read more

I like the fact that this store is stocked, clean and convenient. Managers are friendly but these younger employees working up front are not welcoming. How about I had to ask the young girl if I received any coupons after she takes them from the machine and adds them her stack of other printed coupons. She hands me one coupon. I asked if she's keeping them for herself and she ignores and turns away. I purchased just under $100 worth of groceries. read more

This is probably my prefered place to grocery shop, mainly because of the friendly staff, low prices, and usually its not too crowded. The only downside is that they have a somewhat limited selection and dont carry certain item like pesto, but they are the only store in the area that has Home Run Inn pizzas which I love. read more

Good evening, I'm messaging because no one will return my phone calls or answer the phone. The reason for this is your manager at store# 445 is abusing her authority on a daily bases, it is ridiculous to make anyone work in this hostile environment. She has been harrasing employees, an employee that had been working there for 16yrs. Was recently talked to like a dog in front of customers and brought to tears by her antics. She is very disrespectful to employees and customers alike. This Sr. Employee has since transferred to another ingles because of the mistreatment. Misty Martin has been running off employees for nearly a year now and ingles has done nothing. A incident in the produce department on inventory in April was despicable to say the least She was yelling at the produce manager to get out of "Her store" over a buggy that had been used in the department for 8/9 years. Her constant disrespectful attitude while keeping up gossip and spreading others business personal and business affairs to anyone who listen. The customers can't stand her and all of the employees are ready to walk out. On Sunday May 29th I was working in produce cutting fruit the only other employee in produce on Sundag was the produce manager. It was a holiday weekend and our busiest day of the week. I went to my car to take my 10min break my manager was outside as soon as I lit my cigarette he gets a call it's Misty she says where are you? Before he could get it out his mouth she said I guess you're outside and I suppose Tonya is with you, he said yes then Misty responded by saying she needs to get back in here she's behind and we need heaping trays done. I went back in without having my break. And at 11;30 my manager text me and says you can go on break I'm on the computer in the clock room. While I was doing my best to try and keep up she continued harrasing me about trays but I was working alone in the department helping customers and trying to keep up the fruit bar. I made tray on top of tray and filling the bar as best I could. So at 2:30 the produce manager leaves for the day. At around 3pm I go and try to take my 10 minute break again. This time I had just gotten to my car and her she comes following me, asking if I was on lunch I said no I'm on my 10 min. She said well its 3pm and shows me a picture of the fruit bar the only thing missing was trays. By this time I've had it. She says I need those done Pronto. So I go back in and start cleaning up she comes to me again are you going to do the fruit trays I said no I'm not she said what are you doing you don't get off till 5:30 I said no its 5 actually she said then why are you cleaning up. I said I'm cleaning up and leaving and will not be back. I told her I been working my ass off all day while the manager was upfront on a computer she said that is what he was supposed to be doing. Why in the world would you be harrasing me all day while I'm trying my best to get shit out on the floor and have him on the office from 11am on the busiest day of the week and a holiday weekend. Simply absurd this is exactly why you have such a turn over in store #445 Misty Martin is the problem as many reports and complaints why on earth is she still there? She is no where near ready for that position. And it is beyond me while she is still employed by ingles. I told the assistant Manager that I was there because I promised another employee that I would work for her, if not I would have been at my cousins funeral he died in a wreck on Wednesday. She is destroying your business and costing you money from the high turn over rate in the store she is disrespectful she even called me a bitch as she turned and walked away. read more

I previously worked here in the deli department. The first time I worked here things were great in the beginning but they went downhill fast. The only reason I went back a 2nd time was because of the deli manager at the time. After 2 months of me being back she walked out due to the store manager. She was there for 17 years and was treated like a dog. Before I left this 2nd and final time was because after only being back 2 months my job was threatened. 3 times. The first time the store manager literally said "I need to know if you actually wanna be here because I hired you back knowing you didn't do a good job the first time" first of all, you act like you fired me the first time. I didn't. I left on my own. The 2nd and 3rd time was in just one shift. So I just gave her her wish. I finished my shift that night and didn't go back. I refuse to let you single me out because you "don't like me" I'd had enough. So I would not recommend this job to anyone. It's draining. Mentally, physically, and emotionally. It's not worth it. They over work and under pay you. So as someone who has witnessed how the management is here, I say don't apply here. It's not worth the stress! read more

DO NOT COME HERE FOR FRIDAY FISH UNLESS YOU HAVE PLENTY OF TIME! They sell cooked fish, in store, on Fridays but they seem to never have any ready for sell. They wait until they are completely out before cooking any more which makes no sense. It's takes them 15 min or more to fry the next batch but forever reason, they won't cook more when there's only a few left. I've gotten there when only the last piece was left (it looked old) and was told they wouldn't start cooking another batch until the last piece sold. I've usually gone to the Conyers location where there were always some cooked and ready to sell. But since coming to this location, after having to work from home, they never do. I've complained to the personal at the counter but told that's just how they do it. So if you want to grab lunch from here, you'd better have plenty of time or you'll be waiting! Not to mention the employees all seem like they hate coming to work....NEVER a smile from anyone! read more

Ingles-Ellenwood, Ga Ingles- Ellenwood, Ga-I am very disappointed with the behavior/professionalism of the Store Manager, Jaron Morgan. He has been at this store approximately four months and let me say- he is very arrogant. My story.....I purchased hanging plants a month ago. Four of eight plants died approximately two weeks later. FYI-I have a green thumb with plants. I took the plants back to Ingles and the Manager stated he could not exchanged the plants because I had them too long. I did noticed on my way inside the store some of the plants outside looked the same as the ones I wanted to exchange. I told him I would be contacting Corporate and he said smirkingly "I will be more than happy to provide you the number". He walked off and laughed saying he was sorry he could not help me. I went to my car got the plants and left them inside the store. I proceeded to contact corporate and left messages with customer relations and the district manager. After a week no response, I kept calling and eventually talked to someone in HR whom apologized and said she would contact the store manager. She called me back and offered a $25 gift card (insulting). I spent over $100 on these plants. The district manager called a few days later and apologized and said he would have wanted his money back if it was him. He then stated he would investigate and get back with me. Still waiting. Collectively, Ingles customer service is horrible and they really don't seem to care about us as a people only our coins. I use to visit Ingles weekly until this incident. Our community deserves courteous and professional service, not this behavior. Please, don't let them get away with this type of service. Contact corporate and don't stop until your voice is heard. Sometimes businesses forget we are the reason they are here. read more

I built in the Stockbridge/Ellenwood area 18 years ago because of this Great Quality grocer and newer Home Depot in a Clean little nob of Henry County. They have never disappointed - the food bar is excellent and the prices sweet. Get an Ingles card and you save BIG! The store stays clean and the clientele much more reserved than competitors. Wow what an upgrade, this store is amazing. The salad bar is one of the best That I've seen, everything is fresh. The entire store is clean and the staff is very professional.
