A month later, and a lot of money, I picked up the watch. They only shortened one half of the band (it's a split band) and used yellow gold to solder it. It doesn't sit on my wrist as it should since one half of the band is longer than the other, and the yellow gold shows up significantly against the white gold. Very disappointed.
