I hated this place! Please keep reading - I'm visiting family from California, and Payne Mill Village was full of stuff I wanted. The problem? I live in California! There just wasn't an easy or affordable way to transport all of the amazing things I wanted back home. If I lived in Macon, I'd be there all the time. All of the vendors spaces were well designed and pleasing to the eye. None of them were so jam packed that finding individual items became difficult. Great stuff at fair prices. BINGO! read more

Skip it! The prices are outrageous for the products they're selling. Vendors don't put much effort into decorating their booths. There were a few places I couldn't even walk through because the aisles were too packed. Some parts of the store were so dusty, I didn't want to touch anything. I did not see a great selection of items, and the prices for the few items I picked up were highly inflated. I'm not even sure I saw many antiques. I am giving one star for the kind lady at the register. Other than that, I don't see a reason for returning to this place. read more

The mall is huge and has a lot of options, my feet definitely were hurting at the end. Honestly, the area this place is located in looks really bad, but I have never had any problems and the mall is pretty clean. The building also doesn't have air conditioning or much of it so it definitely gets quite stuffy in the summer. The employees were very nice and talkative so definitely expect a conversation lol. Some of the stuff was a bit pricey, but it really depended on the area of the building. They have quite a mix of old and valuable furniture and smaller items. I think it's definitely worth the look for people antique shopping. read more

I typically don't mind non A/C'd places, but today was a scorcher and it was quite uncomfortable walking through this antique mall. The first half I walked into was one of those 50/50 mixes of antique/new-Home-Goods-like items. I was a bit bummed because I was only looking for some weird antiquey stuff. Most of the other things/furniture is in the back building, but some of the items are so crowded, it is literally impossible to actually browse anything. They didn't even try to create walking rows: it was just stuffed in there like how you might imagine a hoarder's storage unit to look like. So while there may have been interesting things to look through, there was no way to do so. The two stars go mainly to the friendly mall attendant/guard who was extremely kind and pleasant to speak with. Not sure if I would come back, but I think it's still worth popping in if you're in the area. read more

I love this place and have always been able to find great finds. I always seem to forget a tape measurer and they always have one for me to use. They will even come help you measure, so you get it right. Usually I go in looking for something and leave with a different item that I can use in a way I hadn't thought about. read more

Great place to find just about anything...football fields of old stuff. I have been coming here for years and have always enjoyed the selection. There is a guy that has worked here all the years, wears a pith helmet and very helpful. Recent visit was to acquire a hat for a casablanca party. Yes, several of the booths had hats to choose from! read more
