In doing some research I heard about PT treatment and was skeptical at first. I felt hopeless, I felt like I was never going to be able to have children, and this issue laid on my mind heavily. I was referred to Dr. Paige from my gynecologist and I have been seeing her ever since. She healed my excruciating pelvic pain. Sadly, I am moving in a week so I am no longer able to continue treatment with her. She genuinely cares about you and your care. As a patient with this type of issue you are being very vulnerable. In my sessions Dr. Paige and I would talk about pretty much everything and everything, she would explain to me exactly what was going on and what she was doing. I never passed through the OB ED department and I never sat on a gurney in the OB area. I was never seen by their OB ED doctor. When I called to complain I was told that when the triage nurse checked my dilation upon arrival and found that I was fully dilated that that brief assessment by a nurse qualified as ED service! As soon as I arrived I was rushed into a delivery room. The bed was unfolded and the baby was on his way. The on-call OB doc rushed in the room right before the baby was delivered. I gave birth vaginally and without complications in less than 15 minutes after arrival the hospital. Their creative billing team finds ways to sneak in extra charges like $1,306.14 dollars for sitting in the recovery room--the same room delivered in--until the closet sized room near the newborn nursery became available. Choose a different hospital & different health care group. Health First is really MONEY FIRST!

Should be offered to be filled out BEFORE arriving. The first time I went in February, I had left-hand surgery & could still use my right hand to fill out the paperwork... However, less than a month later I had right-hand surgery and could NOT use my right hand to fill out paperwork. Thank goodness there was someone kind enough to fill out the paperwork for me, but if given the ability to fill out the paperwork online before the appointment - it would've been MUCH easier & more comprehensible! JUNE 2025 Review: I'm done! Both hands are feeling great! I needed some Iontophoresis therapy & that utilizes electrical currents to deliver corticosteroid through the skin, to reduce inflammation and pain in my hands. Karen would massage both hands (palms), wipe off the lotion with alcohol, inject the Dexamethasone onto a pad (with a built in battery) that was connected to the Iontophoresis machine (using electrical stimulation (electrodes). Ions in the substance use the charge of the electrical current to deliver the medication by repelling each other like magnets.), stick it to my hands, & then put the 2nd electrode pad will be filled with saline & placed on my arm to help conduct that electrical connection, so to speak... THERAPIST: Karen is Awesome! Sometimes there are double bookings of clients, but don't worry! For instance, when I was on the Iontophoresis machine, there wasn't anything she could do for me, so she was with someone else, but was always Very Close by to help if needed & pay attention... I informed the therapist what my issues are with my posture and curvature of my spine. My sessions with my original therapist went well. On my session with the therapist/owner I let him know I was experiencing pain in my left knee . The exercises he had me do increased pain to where I had to use a cane to walk. I haven't used a cane since my right knee replacement several years ago. On my next visit with my original therapist I told her about the pain and she worked on that. After a few more sessions with her working on my leg discomfort I was feeling better. I informed another therapist on my last visit I still had a little discomfort in my leg. The therapist had me doing exercises that stressed my leg again. Today was supposed to be my last visit so I called before to make sure I had my original therapist. Today another therapist I've never had was going to see me today. I feel worse now than before. I didn't have any symptoms in my legs and now I do.

From one clinician to another, wall push-ups are not an "active range of motion exercise." Nor is it "just like" a submax shoulder isometric or an unweighted active-assisted press. It is a closed-chain resistance exercise that is clinically shown to be roughly 9% of a patient's body weight in resistance. A movement that loads the anterior joint capsule and should be avoided until at least 12 weeks post-op Anterior Bankart Repair (not performed at 7 weeks). Protocols are not "just guidelines" as you tried to argue - they are evidence-based practices required for the safety of surgical patients. It was very disappointing that my reasonable and valid concerns were met with immediate defensiveness, dismissiveness, and doubling down. It was highly unprofessional and frankly unnecessary behavior that I've never witnessed in my decade of experience in this field.

When I get to Radiology - the place where my appointment is - they tell me I need to check in at a different place in the building. Again, if you're expecting to get to your appointment early or on time, forget it. I go all the way to where I'm supposed to check in, get checked in, then walk back to Radiology after my appointment time. Even after showing back up to the Radiology department after my appointment time, I still had to wait for a while until I got called back. The only saving grace for that star is that the tech who performed the procedure was very pleasant and efficient. Do NOT go here if you can help it
