Note: updated review. I gave them a low-rating because after purchasing ink I couldn't actually print anything and got a bunch of errors from my printer for not recognizing my ink cartridges (they weren't brand-name. It was re-manufactured) Anyways, after trying to re-install all my printer drivers I pulled out the ink cartridges, wiped down the printer nozzles inside and ran every printer test imaginable they finally worked. (I haven't used my printer in almost a year so that may explain why). It is nice I don't have to go to the library or Office Depot everytime I need to make a print, but I wish there was less hassle. I took my 15 year old HP printer in for diagnosis. It would no longer print black ink. They worked on it for nearly an hour, but unfortunately the printer is at the end of it's useful life. I'm definitely in agreement with other reviewers. Get ink here. In addition, you can count on this: if for whatever reason the ink doesn't work, Roger will work with you to fix the problem or (though I didn't have to do this, I imagine he will) refund you. I bought 6 cartridges for $35, but the printer simply wasn't working. So after getting my panties all in a bunch I took the whole works to the Outlet and explained the situation, expecting a problem. At first it seemed to work well. The toner cartridges were a drop-in replacement for my Oki c610, at about half the price. They worked fine. As time went by, things got worse both in customer service and cartridge quality. They sent me different colors than I requested, or sent them to the wrong address, or said they would have them by a certain date and then dragged things on and on. Then the cartridges came clearly from different manufacturers, which would be OK, except I started getting toner sensor errors, and lock lever errors. Not only did I waste whole cartridges trying to make them work, thus nullifying the cost savings, I ended up with toner all over the floor. I've really had about enough. Whatever they did before seemed OK. Whatever they changed over the past 5 years, that's BAD. read more

If you're still paying ridiculously high prices for ink at wal-mart or target, STOP! This place sells the same ink for 30% less (at least the ink for my printer is 30% less than target or wal-mart). At Target or Wal-Mart you're paying for the brand name; here it is the same cartridge or toner just no brand name. I go through a lot of ink so I've tried several ink and toner places and I think the quality here is a cut above. Like i mentioned previously, you're getting a brand new ink cartridge or toner, so you're not dealing with the inconsistency's of ink refills. They don't do refills here, which is a plus because I personally don't like refills. I come here quite often and I've always had excellent customer service. The prices on ink are excellent and the paper prices are decent. If you're in need of a printer, there is always decent quality printers here for sale as well. read more

So, to those of you who think there's gotta be a bargain out there, buyer beware! I had run out of printer ink for my hp printer/copier and saw the ad in a flyer. I bought a packet of 5 cartridges that were "on sale" which contained two black and 3 color cartridges. When I tried the first black one, my pages printed out smudgy and gray. I decided to try the second one, and the black did not print at all! HP gives you a warning when you insert the cartridge that it is not an HP cartridge, and the note in the package says just hit 'ok' and it should be fine. It's not. Don't waste your time and money! read more

I was instructed by my employer to purchase an original (OEM) toner cartridge for our HP LaserJet (aftermarkets have worked for us in the past but my employer insisted on the peace of mind of OEM). I usually go to Costco, but felt compelled to turn to a small business. I called before arriving and asked if they price match with Costco, the gentleman who answered the phone said "Yes we do". I arrived and asked for an authentic HP cartridge and he handed me a non-OEM promising me they were just as good. After pitching the aftermarket cartridge, I insisted on the OEM which he did have in stock. To my dismay, he retracted his promise to price match the OEM cartridge with Costco. I encourage everyone to avoid this business, I take personal offense to being lied to. read more

I gave this place 3 stars because the toners for my printer were bad... I mean real bad. The service however has been great. I have 2 Brother MFC printers one at the office 9330CDW and one at home 9320CW. I used aftermarket toner for both. My home printer is still relatively new so I just recently purchased aftermarket toner from Amazon. I see the slight difference in quality but that was expected and overall it's good quality. The one at the office I had for a while now and I have replaced toner from this place at least 3-4 times now. They first time I purchase toner from here I noticed a slight quality difference but I expected that and I was ok with it. I'm not sure if the toner quality changed for the worst but every time I replaced my toners, my print just got darker and worse. I finally had enough, the quality was so bad that even though my toners were still at about 80% full, I replaced them with OEM Brother toner. For a second I thought my printer was going bad but with the new Brother toner my prints look great again. I wish I had better examples but of course all my bad prints went to the trash. read more

Just stopped in here for the first time to get a new black ink cartridge for my printer after my old place in lv closed down. I had seen numerous signs around so I decided to give it a try. It was a great place. I walked in and Roger the sales associate was ready to help me. He was a nice man who answered all my questions and gave me a great deal on my cartridge. I found this place on yelp looking for a cheap alternative for HP ink cartridges. They had what I needed at 30% of the cost of the HP brand. I hooked them up and they worked fine. A few weeks later my printer stopped reading one of the cartridges. I tried everything to get it to read but no luck. I called the store and the owner (I believe) tried to help but couldn't so he offered to swap it out for me. I called about 5 minutes until closing and he insisted I come and he would open up so I could swap it. Really nice guy! read more

I needed ink. I tried Office Depot but they are rude and I'll never go there again. I tried costco but they don't sell brother ink. So I looked up ink cartridges in my area on yelp and this store popped up. Let me say they are nice, courteous and the prices are unbeatable. Keep I'm mind you probably will not get oem cartridges but "off brand". You save money this way. When I put these in my brother all in one the printer recognized them just fine. Maybe I caught them on 3 bad days but every experience I have had with this establishment has been poor. The first time I went in, I told them my printer brand and model number and bought the cartridges they said would fit my printer. I went home and could not get them to fit, nor could my husband. A week or so later, I checked my printer model to be sure I had the right numbers and returned to the Ink and Toner outlet. They assured me they had sold me the right cartridges and somewhat condescendingly suggested I'd forgotten to take the plastic off the cartridges (which I hadn't.) They also suggested I bring in the printer/scanner/fax machine but bring rather large, that wasn't a viable option. But Yelp said this place was SO GREAT I figured I'd take their advice a second time and try the cartridges again. They still didn't work. Being the Holiday season, I put it aside for a while and ended up purchasing a new printer on Black Friday. The old printer went in storage as did the forgotten about cartridges. Today, as I was contemplating where to buy ink for my current printer, I remembered The Ink and Toner Outlet and those abandoned cartridges. I know few places do exchanges after 90 days but Yelp said The Ink and Toner Outlet was SO GREAT, so I thought I would see if they could do anything. I went in with $40 worth of cartridges in their original packaging and my receipt, ready to receive a professional explanation of their return policy, which was not on the receipt. The lady was quite rude and kept telling me I should have brought them back and that I must have given them the wrong number. I tried to tell her I did but she continued her condescension and never brought up the return policy or asked to see the receipt. So, lesson learned.
