I AM WARNING YOU DO NOT GO HERE I never leave reviews because I just never care enough lol but I felt that I needed to save everyone from this place. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE GO HERE. I wish I could give a negative rating if I could. First off I have many tattoos of all different sizes in a variety of places so this was not my first rodeo. The guy that did my tattoo "Thorns" was his name. When I scheduled the appointment I paid a $60 deposit that I figured would come off of the total price of my tattoo. My tattoo was a super simple outline of a shape I figured it would be relatively cheap since it requires little ink and time. I went in to get the tattoo and did not feel very welcomed at all. As a female going into tattoo shops can be intimidating and this is by far the most off putting customer service experience I've ever had from a tattoo shop. He was very short and acted like he was annoyed I was even there. Getting the tattoo felt more painful than normal. He was pressing really really hard on my arm and I have tattoos in some of the most painful places including my face so I immediately knew something was wrong. Once he was done I got up and looked at it and I thought it looked a little wonky and the lines were straight but I figured it was distorted because I wasn't looking at it straight on. The tattoo took 5-6 minutes total. Which was alarming. When I took the bandage off there was way more blood than normal. And it bled way longer than it should have. Then I went to pay and I just gave him my card and went to sign the slip... it was $82 and I didn't think anything of it at the time. I tipped 20% and now I wish I hadn't. Afterwards I was thinking about the price, I paid something like $150-$160 which is ridiculous for the size and simplicity of the tattoo. Fast forward to 4 days later, it is INFECTED. I have never had one of my tattoos get infected before. I take great care of them. So I know it had to be this place. Now I am taking antibiotics for the next week to prevent the infection from worsening! Terrible customer service, terrible tattoo artist (can't speak for other employees), not sure if it was cleanly, and ridiculously priced. I got my first tattoo here in June of 2015. My artist was "Thorns" though I believe his name was Anthony. It was a sentimental piece to me and at first he was a nice guy. The tattoo hurt way more than I expected (I have four now and this one was by far the most painful on my wrist). He was heavy handed. His "bedside manner" was terrible. As I sat as still as possible at one point he said "you're not going to cry are you? I haven't had someone cry in a long time" which made me feel worse about this choice. The tattoo only took about fifteen minutes. The tattoo continued to bleed until the next day and after it healed I find out the lines aren't straight and he dug into my skin so deep he left scars on some places. Overall a horrible experience. Not welcoming at all, not a job well done. But at least I can say I know what NOT to look for when I go into a tattoo shop. So thanks. read more

Excited to stop in and get a small letter tattoo on my ankle, Jake Miller was the most condescending tattoo artist I've ever met. As I tell him what I was thinking , I asked for suggestions on font and he says " idk you're supposed to figure that out ". THEN, as I'm taking my shoes off to get situated for the tattoo, I ask him how he would like me to sit, to which he replies, " do whatever you want I'm not even set up yet". When you're permanently tattooing something on someone's body, you should be kind, understanding , and knowledgeable. All of which Jake Miller is not, don't go there unless you want to feel like you're bothering your tattoo artist :) read more

I really hate leaving bad reviews, but needless to say I won't be returning to Ink Assassins. I went in to get the web of my tongue pierced. Matty B was nice but the first thing he said was "I can't remember the last time I did one of these" (super assuring, right?). He then pierced the tongue web not once, but TWICE because it didn't work the first time I guess. The pain was bearable but I just got the vibes he didn't know what he was doing. I go to pay (and leave a 20% tip) and I look at my new piercing before I leave and it was completely crooked. I asked Matty if it was just the swelling (although I knew it wasn't) and he said yeah that it was "fine". Flash forward to 2 1/2 months later and it is still just as crooked as it was the day I got it done. Throughly disappointed in my experience. read more

Don't go here. I came here originally to get 2 tattoos on the same day, and one was a super basic and simple design, literally just an outline of angel wings, which took 2 minutes at most. My artist, I believe his name was Tony, was not very friendly or welcoming. When he placed down the design on my wrist, it was huge, was bigger than the picture I showed him. It also was slightly different then the design I showed him. When he placed it down, It was a little crooked and I asked him to move it and he just seemed overall annoyed about having to do that. After he finished sawing at my skin, I hated it the minute I saw it. At that moment I decided to not go through with getting my other planned tattoo from him. THANK GOD I DIDN'T. my tattoo healed completely, I noticed it was complete TRASH. The design is not even close to centered on my wrist, it's crooked, the wings are not symmetrical at all, one is bigger the the other, the lines are far from straight. It's overall just a bad tattoo. It looks like sharpie on my wrist. I'm going in next week to get my first session of laser removal. I was told that he went so deep into my skin that he created scaring, which will remain even after all the ink is gone. Don't make the same mistake I did by going here. You will not be happy. read more

I had a pretty amazing experience! My artist was super chill and we talked for most of my tattoo. It was a smaller piece, only 2 in. by 2 in., knocked it out in maybe fifteen minutes. Looked great. Place is one of the cleanest tattoo parlors I've seen and if I'm ever back in the area Ill def get another piece. read more

I went to get a tattoo on my sternum about 2 years ago. The tattoo artist was rude and when I asked him to redo the placement of the tattoo before starting (it was uneven) he got extremely annoyed and yelled at me during our session. I wanted to leave but felt it was too late. My friend who was with me was going to get tattooed too but seeing how rude he was she decided not to. I would not recommend to ANYONE. read more

Got a tattoo from Dave Steele, in memory of my father. He had tattooed my brother and 2 of my 3 sisters. He did EXCELLENT work. He maintained conversation, made me feel very comfortable. This was my first tattoo experience with Ink Assassin's, and it was VERY comfortable. Maddy B and his crew have never mislead me. I would DEFINITELY recommend them to anyone else. Thank you. I got my nose pierced from them a few years ago and they ended up having to re pierce it because when he shoved the needle through he didn't have the hoop ready and it closed so he stabbed me twice in the same spot. Then my cousin got this simple little tattoo of a cross that said mom and paid 250. Way over priced and definitely not worth it. 10/10 would not recommend. Idk how they're listed as one of the best shops because they've went downhill bad. read more

I got my monroe pierced here and it was terribly done. The bar that was put in was way to short so it couldn't heal, the back disc was way too small so with the combination of the two errors, the disc kept going into my swollen lip and the skin kept trying to heal over it. Also, it was done at an angle instead of straight on, so when I open my mouth to eat it gets stuck on my teeth. I will NEVER go there for a piercing again. read more

So I got my daith pierced on July 29 and the guy who did it put the needle through my ear but it didn't go through all the way, I'm laying with a needle in my ear for maybe 10 mins then he just shoves it through the rest of the way as I was about to pass out. It's now middle of October and my ear is still bleeding almost nonstop and I'm still extremely sore. I called the store to tell them and ask for help and they told me use the salt water spray (which I always did till the big bottle was gone). I also got a tattoo from there and it looks horrible. It's supposed to say "with pain comes strength" well the pain looks like palm cause he messed up my I. I do not trust this place at all. I do not recommend anyone going there. Overpriced and they suck. read more

I don't remember the name of the guy who did my tattoo 6 months, but he did a shitty and careless job. I wanted a very simple piece of writing on my wrist, 2 inches long, maybe half inch tall, took him about five min.. Charged me $60. It's uneven and very obviously needs touched up.
