To their response on google rating you're so full of it the emails back and forth that you're going on about were about the tattoo's I got done with Yous and paid for and the demand was to fix my tattoo line that you messed up on and you won't honour your work at all and no your policy is made up and not reasonable at all the work should be backed up and fixed so no Karen/Derek you didn't try to work with me at all but in fact lied and said I had my free fix up on my grandparents tattoo when I didn't you're all about the money and not the costumer plain and simple so no I don't recommend yous at all and blaming me in an email for your messed up line is a low so no it wasn't cause of my meds or not taking care of the tattoo it was your mess up not mine and if you were so concerned about my meds and health why did you tattoo me and pocket my money pretty fast???? And not just one tattoo but with two of them I will tell you why cause you're all about the money not the costumer by the way i will find another tattoo place that does back their work and can actually do fine line tattooing not someone like you that can't do a line properly and is all about the money!!!!! This business is shady and I will never use their services again or my family use them and I will never recommend them. He assured me that the gem wouldn't come out of the jewelry and that if it did just come back and he would replace it. The gem came out of the stud within the next week. Since I don't live in Kingston, I saved the stud for the next time I was in the area. I'm back in the area and I've tried to phone but the number is out of service and I've went to the store five times but it's been closed. Maybe he went on vacation? He should his new hours up on the door.

So it's taken me a few days to gather my thoughts. And make sure I'm getting my words across…read morecorrectly. And also take a few to cool down from me being honesty.. pretty damn angry. A friend and I decided to go get our nipples pierced. This friend won't be named as she has family online who she wants to not know about this as it's an intimate piercing. So I understand. Anyways. We decided to go to TrueHart tattoos here in Kingston. And they had a good rating online as well as seemed professional so we booked. We thought everything went well as we aren't professionals and don't know everything there is know about piercings, placement and jewelry. She and I had some girlfriends who asked how it went and wanted to see how they turned out. So we showed a few friends. Every one of my friends I showed or spoke to about this told me... "it's really strange he put a horseshoe or curved barbell in". After the first few friends telling me this I began to become concerned as did my friend. I come to find out that curved barbels will not allow it to heal straight as it's "curved" and it should always be the straight ones. So now I'm a little upset he did that and stated to me that "they heal better" before putting them in. I decided to seek another professionals opinion and she told me that's an outdated way of doing it and the straight ones are far better for healing. My friend got another professionals opinion as well and he said the same thing. My friend also had to remove both of hers because the placement was FAR too low.. So after she told me that and I was seeing the other professional and I asked her opinion on placement. Here's where I get very angry. And you can see in my drawing below as Facebook doesn't allow female anatomy.. he pierced my nipple 1. On an angle and two coming out of my areola !!!! Which is actually a huge no. So now I have to take this one out and let it heal for 4 weeks before seeing the skilled professional who fixed my left one to a straight bar. So.. what was very strange was as we were paying and getting ready to leave. He stated "please if there is any issues, contact us so we can make it right before blasting us online" which was a HUGE red flag to me.. but! We had already had the piercings done. He also made inappropriate comments as we were leaving as well. He told us aftercare and my friend said I'll FaceTime you so we can make sure we were doing it right. To that he made a comment "no, what you need to do is get into the shower together " .... and then continued describing shower together.... Completely UNPROFESSIONAL! So we decided to do what he asked us to do which was contact him. We called the shop multiple times with no answer. I sent him a message in my Instagram to which you can see was unanswered. I then showed up at the shop. He wasn't there and the colleges working then made a mockery of me and acted in disbelief... Finally we email him and we get a reply that states.. he didn't do it incorrectly. They routines go into the areola. Which is false AND I have an article below, stating that when tht happens it's when a piercing is done wrong. On top of all that I tipped him $10 thinking he did a good job, so I paid 100$ ... All we would like is a refund as we have to pay for new straight bars and to be re pierced and he hasn't given a refund. Not even an apology. He is very clearly not a reputable piercer and I do not want to see anyone else go to someone who only did one of piercings correctly by luck and screwed up both my friends and my secondary one.. Since posting this. I've had many women come forward about not only terrible piercings but also sexual harassment and worse... Please reevaluate your choice.

I was very pleased with her work and I probably would've gave 5 stars if the following hadn't occurred. So this place is an open type studio, so you can overhear conversations with other tattoo artists and clientele. Normal, nothing wrong there, its like that at a lot of shops. However, one of the other tattoo artists named Jess, (not sure if this is short or what, skinny woman) was extremely unprofessional in every aspect. Keep in mind I wasn't her client, so I only grabbed bits and pieces but essentially she was complaining very loudly about some ex roommate of hers suddenly moving out on her, being a slob , how she's getting people to threaten this roommate ,something about sex offenders?, her ownfriends all being to jail, how she's been to jail , how she's going to party tonight, what she thinks about the owner being unprofessional, complaining about HER OWN Clientele, and she went on and on about all her personal problems that I believe has nothing to do with the workplace. I don't know if she was under the influence, or this is simply her mental health , but because of her, it really ruined my enjoyment of getting a tattoo. What's very concerning to me is that this particular employee is essentially bragging about being a criminal. And I'm shocked that this is allowed by management. Great prices, great studio, but this one particular employee is an absolute nightmare. I would not recommend this studio to anyone if she's on premise.

Kathy has been tattooing in Kingston for 32 years, from when tattooists were required to get way…read moremore training than the new tattooists do now (and when people were super sexist, so she had to work way harder to make it) - she has been trained by a skin doctor in tattoo aftercare and she really knows her stuff in contrast to a lot of other tattooists who seem to just be doing what they've been told without really understanding why. She is also a super lovely warm friendly lady, which makes getting a tattoo with her really enjoyable. I'm sad I couldn't talk to her longer :P There's no social media presence or website for this business - you do have to call her, but even as a young Millenial/Zennial, it's totally worth it. I won't be going anywhere else in the future. I especially recommend this place for women who don't want to deal with the subtle toxic masculinity you often find at other parlours, which is why I switched from my previous place in Kingston. Recommended :)

This is the best tattoo shop in the Watertown area BY FAR. All the work that Todd does is amazing…read moreand i have never been disappointed with anything I've gotten done there. The only reason i stopped going was because i moved across the country. This is truly one of the one spots in the north country that i will miss and it's going to be hard for me to find another tattoo artist i like and trust as much.
