The one thing that I did have problems with was scheduling, though. I made my appointment a month-and-a-half in advance because I knew it would be hard to get two people in for the same time, with the same artist, AND on a Friday night. When it came time to pay the deposit for my friend's appointment, one week before we were supposed to be scheduled, they said that appointment time was no longer available. Luckily we were able to figure something out but it was a bit of a hassle. Nonetheless, it was a great experience and I WILL be going back again.

My cartilage piercing was done by a different guy and it was the easiest piercing I've ever gotten. Calm environment. Good price. Great piercing.

Vern wastes no time during appointments and you are truly getting the best quality tattoo and service possible in your appointment window. I recommend booking a whole day session at her discounted rate versus just an hour or two because she truly uses the time wisely and really gets a lot done for you! (i.e. We got an entire thigh piece (my first from her) done in one full day session.) As for the shop itself, I was super pleased when I walked in for the first time. I had driven by it a ton and never noticed it, but don't be fooled by the plain exterior. The inside is clean with beautiful lighting and a relaxed atmosphere. All I know is this: they have more talent in their left pinkies than James K has in his entire body. Please, whatever you do, do NOT support this man.
