Please for the love of god this place needs to invest in better carts and insect repellent. My party only played 9 and by the 8th hole we had to leave because of how bad the bugs were. Personally I had at least 13 bite alone not including the party I was with who were equally as bit up as me. Never coming back and I recommend finding a different course if you want a good golf experience. Along with how bad the bugs were we also had 2 carts that wouldn't start even when pressing the pedal all the way down we had to push them to get them to start most of the time. We brought this up with someone who worked there originally and we were told they would be fine. Clearly not the case. read more

I enjoyed this golf course, it was my first time golfing but since this experience I'm hooked.

The layout is great and scenic but the condition is a joke. Bunkers filled with waist high weeds and no sand. Fairways all patchy and dead. Course surrounded by rickety fences and sketchy abandoned buildings. Sometimes can't tell the difference between the cart paths and the fairways. Just glad I was able to play somewhere quick and cheap. Great course for those ballin on a budget. read more

Pace of play was very slow. But I enjoyed the course lay out and the scenery with it being off Rouge River. The bunkers are no longer sand just weeds, the greens and fairways were very nice which made up for the experience. If you have other options take them but on nice day with other courses booked if you need somewhere to play not a bad price but don't expect the country club experience. read more

This course is headed down the tubes. It's been a couple years since I was there, and WOW, the state of disrepair is stunning. With a nice collection of easy and difficult holes, the potential for a great course is there. Though there is no driving range, the location is well situated. HOWEVER, the tee boxes are a total mess. No one is maintaining this course. The carts have no dirt for divot repair, the tee box dirt containers are empty, the sand traps are not maintained. It's a crime. The kicker was this....No ranger on the weekend. No starter on the weekend. One poor guy working the cash register, until 10am on a Sunday in August. That's when some little sweetheart came in to work concessions. Who owns/operates this property ? The neglect here is stunning, and just a shame. read more

Played the course a number of years ago and enjoyed it very much. Invited some friends to play it in July 2021 and was shocked by how the course has gone downhill. Weeds are growing in the sand traps. The fairways need to be watered. I can't honestly give it even one star. Even the sign identifying the course from the street entrance is broken. Sad... definitely skip playing this course. read more

This was once a terrific golf course. That's not the case anymore. Traps are not maintained at all. Weeds everywhere. Tee Boxes are a mess (no grass). The course eats golf balls with the poor rough. The only saving grace is the senior rate is only $25.00. It needs a lot of TLC. read more

Absolute garbage... horrible staff and a completely ripped up course. Dead skunk ON THE 10TH GREEN! Told the staff about it and was told that it was "not their problem and that a coyote would get it" staff was rude beyond what you would expect, getting a hotdog at the turn was met with "keep it moving" Sand traps were filled with water, fairways were uncut, greens were dead and burnt. Spend your money at literally any other course in Michigan. read more

Really beautiful course, could be better maintained but overall it is in pretty nice shape. Not what you would expect just minutes away from the airport. On this course you are not going to pull out driver on every hole - this course requires an accurate shot and because of the many dog legs a lot of your tee shots need to be in the 200-220 range. The marsh comes into play on nearly every hole. Where there is no marsh there are woods. Did I mention the course requires an accurate shot? Several pin locations tucked in a small corner of the green guarded by sand traps. If I had any complaint it would be that some of the tee boxes are in pretty rough condition, and some of the greens have areas with unrepaired ball marks. I am looking forward to coming back next time I am in the area. read more

This course fucking sucks, has potential but they literally give no fucks. They send leagues off late which fucks everyone else over. Haven't tried to fix a single fucking sand trap in 3 years. No cart girl, no ranger, no fucking anything. It should honestly be a $10 green fee. read more

I don't see the course staying open for no more than another season or two!! Maintenance and care has been lost 100%!! The fairways and now many of the greens are almost completely lost. The bunkers have been a problem for the past 5 years. By far a sad case of lack of management and maintenance. This use to be a gem, now it's just holding on to stay alive. Make sure to bring Mosquito spray it is a must! They don't sell it in the club house. I wish one day they would actually have a starter and a cart girl. At this point I'll take one person standing outside with a cart as the starter and the cart girl!! Money will only comeback to this time place if money is put into it. read more

This was the first time I have played this course. It has a ton of potential and can be challenging a lot of the time, but it's just not maintained very well and the carts are hit or miss on if they will work or not. If it had a major overhaul and was made pristine this course would easily be a five star course. read more

I have played this course since it opened and always enjoyed it until these last couple years. It seems they don't do any upkeep on the entire course. A few of the sand bunkers are washed out and most have little sand in them. There are as many pot holes on the cart parth as there are around the course. I can't tell you how many times I looked behind my cart to see if anything flew out after hitting one of them. Saying it's "rough around the edges" is being overly generous. It's a shame. If they put some money into it, filled holes, filled the sand bunkers, this course would be a course I would play a few times a year. As it stands, there are too many other courses in the area that actually take care of the holes and make it an enjoyable round to play. read more

Mosquitoes like no ones business. Course was ok but I got bite about 30 times on an 18 hole day. Pick a dry day to go.

Pros: really inexpensive with Group Golfer ($18 for 18 w/cart)... challenging layout... decent greens... friendly staff... good putting green. Cons: terrible sand traps... deceptive yardage markers... no ranger or cart personnel... unwalkable... low quality carts... not super-well maintained overall. Could use a good cleaning, but overall, not bad for a buck a hole. read more

Played here a lot the last few years. However, the last 2 times I've called to set a tee time, the man that answered the phone was EXTREMELY rude. Was going to bring my girlfriend with me today and they had available tee times, but I immediately changed my mind and went elsewhere, because of the terrible customer service. Great course, but not worth feeling like I'm being treated as a burden to the staff on the phone. read more

The course was pretty good. Definitely a great bargain. Went to GroupGolfer and only paid $18 for 18 holes and a cart. I'll be for for sure.
