AVOID at all cost. Nothing but beer drunken rude league golfers. Got Stuck behind 4 some Shot gunning beers throwing cans and trash. Paid for 18 only did 9. Ranger told us to get a rain check. When we went to desk, Kid told us no on rain check it was twilight fee for 18 holes. Even though he let us tee off early BEFORE twilight hours. And never told Is it was twilight fee. Paid 50 for 18 and only got 9 cause of the drunks. Ranger told us we could get rain check only to backpedal when we went to front dest. Ranger than said I didn't know you were twilight hours. Also the kid at the desk said he only charged us for 9 and when I check card he charged us for 18.. Terrible customer service, terrible rude golfers, and honestly a beginner course.. wish I could give - stars. Never going back and letting people know. Not for serious golfers.. read more

This is such a great course! It's definitely a hidden gem, you're not surrounded by neighborhoods or busy roads which is a added bonus. The course is always maintained really well and it is great value for what you are playing. I would 100% recommend giving it a try! read more

Waited 3 hours to get through 7 holes, the 1st tee boxed was closed and had a 8 cart line behind the (modified tee box) obviously cramming tee times in to make more money not thinking about the golfer's experience. The greens were awful and I didn't see a cart beverage girl once. This course is purely terrible and should be taken down as an establishment. The golf cart also ran out of battery on the last hole. Really nice course and would Love to play again. Except the ranger was driving around picking up balls... yes live shot balls. His response when questioned to what he was doing was "Picking up the extra balls" That was super irritating because they weren't extra balls... on two separate holes he somehow managed to pick up my ball after a drive. read more

First and foremost, Tony and Sean, owner/managers of the golf course, were efficient, professional, thoughtful and attentive. Our charity, Active Faith held its 22nd annual fund raiser there on July 15. The setting is extremely charming as it boasts a rustic authentic environment that would be a perfect backdrop for any event especially weddings. Looking out on the gorgeous landscape of the golf course is breathtaking. They recently included a gorgeous White canopy event tent perfectly place to take advantage of all the amenities. I highly recommend Rolling Meadows to anyone who would like to enjoy a golf day with their family, friends or co-workers. Rolling Meadows is truly a remarkable place. read more

Hands down the most unprofessional golf course and employees I've ever encountered. I've been golfing for almost 50 years and played countless rounds all over the country and I'll never play here again. We had a bad experience last year and we shrugged it off as just they were having a bad day. Today we had a 8:32 am tee time. We got there about the same time as three other groups and a man came out and said none of us could play for 60-90 minutes due to frost. (it was 40 degrees) everyone was shocked. So we called another course near by and they were thrilled to have us come play. Also when we call, we almost always get an answering machine. That's just super unprofessional and poor customer service. You can't have someone man the Phone? We will not be back! read more

This has always been one of my favorite places to play in the area. It's not a super challenging course, the blue tees definitely add some distance on a few holes including turning a par 3 into a short but tricky par 4. The greens are large and hilly, with a few tough to putt. The fairways are large and the layout is forgiving on most holes, and if you hit them straight you can really get a lot of birdies. There is also a few holes that require smart play to keep it challenging but easy to score on. There used to be a few quality issues, as a few areas with heavy trees had grass issues on tee boxes and fairways, and sometimes the rough would be pretty long where you'd lose balls in rough very easy. But new ownership appears to be putting more money into up keep. One of the perks used to be this course was BYOB, but they now have a beer license and thankfully keep things very affordable (16 oz for $2). And they just upgrade the clubhouse a lot as well. Rates are competitive, weekends before noon are the max you'll pay but plenty of other deals during other times. Overall it's a pretty course, and if you are on the best you have the chance to shoot pretty low. We come here many times a year for a good time and we'll keep coming back! read more

The course has new owners and they have really turned the place around. The clubhouse is a beautiful barn and the bar inside is great. The course is in the best shape its been in for the many years I have played. The greens are fast and the course overall is very well maintained. I hadn't been to this course in a couple of years, but decided to give it a try. It was well worth the trip! They have new owners now, and we had a very nice round of golf. The layout features some nice holes and (mostly) big greens which are pretty fast and tend to be sloped. The course is pretty flat, with the front nine having mainly trees to navigate around, and the back bringing water into play more often. The back nine is definitely harder than the front! The greens were in good shape, and were consistent in their speed. With the slope, a couple of greens won't hold the ball if you hit the front edge; be careful with your distance on the approach! Fairways were nice and the ball rolled well. If I had a complaint it would be the tee boxes being chewed up a bit, particularly on the par 3s. Otherwise, conditions were nice. The rates were very good, well below many of the other courses nearby. The staff was friendly and helpful. It looked like they had fixed up a few things in the clubhouse since my last visit. Definitely worth a return visit! read more
