You know, it's really difficult to rate a business like this. You never think you'll need it and I really hadn't planned on coordinating with a business like this when I needed to. My father-in-law was ill for quite sometime but all signs pointed to him living several years with his current conditions. Yes, there were multiple. Back in December my wife contracted COVID and it spread thru our house rather quickly. We all recovered very quickly except my father-in-law who was unable to fight the virus on top of his other health concerns. He passed 12/30/20. On 12/31 I contacted Inland Memorial and one other business in my area to discuss services, time frames, cost, etc. The other business failed to even send the basic info I'd requested but Kaci (spelling error I'm sure!) was great. One phone call with her and I knew I had the right company selected. She'd even sent an email to my wife with the required documents before we'd even ended the first call. Now, the only negative aspect was the lack of follow up after the initial call. I do not put this blame squarely on Kaci or the business. Due to the high number of deaths recently, many COVID related, the completion of services took much longer than expected. Again, no fault to Kaci. Seems like the business owner/s should have prepped for this spike knowing it was coming but also hard to blame them given current conditions. A few extra staff members would have lightened Kaci's load and made communication a little more regular. Overall, it's hard to find anything seriously wrong. The compassion shown from day one made choosing Inland Memorial the easy choice. The competitive pricing (slightly lower than others in the area) helped close the deal. I'm so disappointed my brother passed away Nov 14th of this year and we used this place dealt with Cassie Not only did they not pick up my brother from the hospital until 4 days later they still have him!! and haven't gave me any updates about anything without me calling first. This is so unprofessional, and they tried to double charge my card after I already paid for services on Dec 3rd, if I would of know this is the kind of service I was gonna deal with especially after such a tragic loss I would of sent him some were else I'm so sad and upset and just hope to have him home by Christmas read more

Death, Its not supposed to happen but it does. Its frightening, disorienting and deeply unsettling for everyone caught up in its wide wake. Casey sees people during literally the darkest moments of their lives. We experienced this grief 4 years ago with my granddaughter-Alexis died by suicide at 17 and yet we have found ourselves, again shattered and in grief when my daughter Michelle,died recently As I sit here again, crying, a repeat of the emotions when Alexis died I know of one person who cared and cares now. Is there a review lower than one star? Not only did this company not provide the services that were paid for, they were argumentative about it. They failed to keep either appointment that they made. Ran perpetually late. Took other customers in front of us while we waited. When I complained heartily about them not prepping her body and sending the remains to the wrong address in a plastic bag (not the contribution we paid for) the employee sent me a message saying that "your mom must be so proud of the woman you have become." And so on. This is how they deal with their own mistake and grieving people. Run away from here. They are a train wreck. Completely incompetent at every level. read more

Where to begin. I have had 2 very close family members pass this last year, only 10 mos. apart. I reached out after my mom passed on hospice, as Casey came highly recommended by the hospice service. She was so kind and warm in such a sad time. Everything was handled beautifully. When I reached out 10 months later when my brother tragically and unexpectedly passed. Casey remembered exactly who I was when I called and was so comforting. I have used "Inland Memorial Murrieta". When my Mother passed away and I live in Georgia, and my Mother funeral plan was for a Temple in Hawaii bought back in the 60's, I needed help sorting through things as we knew the end was getting close. I spoke with Casey Cañez and she was so helpful. After FAXING her copies of the funeral plan we owned, she told me not to worry about a thing, and I would hear from her within 24 hours as she spoke to the Temple in Hawaii. As with when you loose a loved one, it is so hard on the family. Casey assured me I had nothing to worry about and she handled everything between California and Hawaii, while keeping me fully informed here in Georgia. When I received that dreaded phone call, I already knew all the arrangements had been made to take care of my Mom, her Urn was waiting and her remains would be sent to the Temple, to have a "Celebration of life" before she joined the rest of her Japanese side of the family in the family "Haka". I have to say Casey was a Godsend to me, I could never of gotten through this with out her. Knowing my Mom was safe and sound, and finally home in Hawaii where she longed to be. Had an appointment at the location in Murrieta, CA today 8/18/2020. Someone else walked in right before our appt and Casey Cañez took him, making us sit and wait for over an hour. We are only here for a few days from TX and couldn't reschedule. Our mother had already paid for all her arrangements, so since they already HAD our money, we went to the bottom of the list. The walk-in hadn't paid yet, so he had priority. TERRIBLE way to treat people who are wanting to respect the time of all involved. read more

We began working with Casey at Inland Memorial in Murrieta over a year ago when we thought our mother was close to the end. When she recently passed away, Casey picked up where we had left off, remembering who we were and what we had discussed. We knew in advance what to expect and how things would be handled. My mother pre-purchased everything from Inland Memorial, Inc. in about 2007; she died on 8/13/2020 My sister had booked us an appt with Casey on Tue 8/18/2020 to sign papers and finish the details; our visitation was scheduled for 8/19/2020. When we arrived for the appointment, Casey had a walk-in in her office and asked us to reschedule for the next day. We could not do that, so we waited for an hour beyond our appointment time. Casey INSISTED we did not have an appointment - but we flew 2000 miles and had to be very certain about all appointments/arrangements fitting into this travel window. We absolutely DID have an appointment ... but money already paid does not have precedence over money walking in the door. We signed papers and finished the details. The next day, we went to the Colton office for the visitation ... and we had an appointment for 2:00pm. We arrived 10 minutes early and they were not ready for us. They had been in possession of her body for 6 days!! They wanted us to come back at 7:00pm that night, which we could not do!! So, we waited for over 90 minutes. They then followed up that incompetence by mailing Mother's remains to the WRONG address!!!! Casey tried to put the blame on us, saying that was what we had requested; however, ALL the paperwork inside had the correct name and address. They also did NOT send the container we paid for ... they just had her in a plastic bag inside a cardboard box. This was awful, and when we called her, Casey's attitude was one of anger! We found that to be unbelievable, when it was their fault and incompetence that created the situation!!! This was a train wreck from the get-go, made much worse by obnoxious attitude of Casey. I had a scheduled appointment with Casey (Canez) the Tuesday after Christmas. However, my grandmother passed away Christmas weekend. That following Tuesday Casey and I were able to arrange everything for my grandmother. I wasn't aware of all the things that needed to be done and she walked me through everything, step by step. Casey was absolutely amazing. She helped my family more than she knows..She went completely out of her way to help us make this as easy and heartfelt as possible. She was so giving with her time. Starting from my conversation with Casey a few days prior, to our 2 am phone call, to the viewing and laying my grandmother in her resting place.. everything was done with respect, care, and gentleness. I can't thank Casey and her staff enough for how respectful and kind they all were. Death is never the right time, nor is it something anyone wants to think about. She made it as peaceful as can be. I am very fortunate to have come across her information, and because of these great reviews I gave her a call.
