Beautiful and peaceful place. I'm happy it's not in a crowded area. I do recommend having the dirt road paved.

From the moment we walked in, she was kind, calm, and incredibly professional. She made us feel okay like we weren't alone and guided us through the process with so much care and compassion. Sabrina handled everything with grace and efficiency, making what could have been overwhelming feel simple and manageable. She was respectful of our wishes, sensitive to our emotions, and somehow still managed to make us smile a few times. It truly felt like she cared not just about doing her job well, but about us as people. Thank you, Sabrina, for making a heartbreaking time just a little easier. You were a blessing, and we are so grateful .

A huge shoutout to Ralph who went above and beyond for my family. The communication was excellent, and when Ralph wasn't available, another staff member would assist, and they never dropped the ball. There were so many things we didn't think about for my dad's service where the staff was one step ahead and had taken care of anything we missed before we could realize. Finding a specific urn that would fit two niches -- no problem as Ralph personally went to the cemetery and found an urn that can accommodate two. During the hardest time in life, we appreciate everyone! Chelsea was so great during the service. Nothing was rushed, and she was so patient. Thank you for everything!

We used England Family Mortuary for our Mom's final arrangements (Mom was alive at this time but…read morebarely). Honestly one of the most challenging things I have ever done in my life. It took me about 5 minutes sitting in my car to get myself together to walk into the door. Once I made it past the front door the staff was amazing. A gentleman that I didn't catch his name expressed his genuine condolences and sat me into a conference room. I didn't have to wait long and Zac came in to walk me through everything. When mom did pass. The arrangements were executed without any hiccups. I am very thankful for their service in our time of need and would recommend them to anyone else that has a loved one that needs arrangements done.

Joey greeted us and made sure we had what we needed. They had everything ready on time, were very accommodating and the place was immaculate. The sanctuary itself was beautifully decorated, I felt so comfortable, like I was at home. The bathrooms are super clean and smelled really fresh as well. We wanted to serve coffee and some snacks, they had 3 tables ready to go in the back of the room which I decorated and arranged food on. I brought 2 carafes to make coffee in as well as table decorations and some finger foods. It worked out perfectly. Overall, we were all so grateful for everything England Family Mortuary had to offer and the services they provided. They are 3 generations of caring individuals who put a great deal of pride into their work and mortuary. I would use them again in a second. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, you offered peace and protection during a very hard time. We felt you were on our side. We're so grateful.

You know, it's really difficult to rate a business like this. You never think you'll need it and I…read morereally hadn't planned on coordinating with a business like this when I needed to. My father-in-law was ill for quite sometime but all signs pointed to him living several years with his current conditions. Yes, there were multiple. Back in December my wife contracted COVID and it spread thru our house rather quickly. We all recovered very quickly except my father-in-law who was unable to fight the virus on top of his other health concerns. He passed 12/30/20. On 12/31 I contacted Inland Memorial and one other business in my area to discuss services, time frames, cost, etc. The other business failed to even send the basic info I'd requested but Kaci (spelling error I'm sure!) was great. One phone call with her and I knew I had the right company selected. She'd even sent an email to my wife with the required documents before we'd even ended the first call. Now, the only negative aspect was the lack of follow up after the initial call. I do not put this blame squarely on Kaci or the business. Due to the high number of deaths recently, many COVID related, the completion of services took much longer than expected. Again, no fault to Kaci. Seems like the business owner/s should have prepped for this spike knowing it was coming but also hard to blame them given current conditions. A few extra staff members would have lightened Kaci's load and made communication a little more regular. Overall, it's hard to find anything seriously wrong. The compassion shown from day one made choosing Inland Memorial the easy choice. The competitive pricing (slightly lower than others in the area) helped close the deal. Thank you for your services during a difficult time for my wife and mother-in-law. You made dealing with this just a little bit easier for me.

Losing my husband was the worst thing that ever happened. It happened suddenly, and my family was…read morein a state of shock. Two days later, we had an appointment - my three adult kids and I went to meet with Veronica. She was very nice, and very compassionate while she listened to us tell stories about Bobby, even as we were picking out his urn and described why the one we chose was *perfect* for him and that he would approve. During that appointment, I filled out all the necessary forms for the cremation, and I checked the box requesting they preserve a lock of his hair for me. I also requested Jewish memorial candles, which were included in their 'catalog'. Veronica looked over the form, and confirmed with me that (1) I wanted a lock of his hair, and (2) that she would look into finding the memorial candles. I told her I wanted to put together the slideshow for his service, as I knew he would have wanted. Veronica and I spoke several times after our appointment, and I felt good about everything. Veronica scheduled an appointment with me which was set for a couple of days prior to the memorial, to make sure the slide show was acceptable, AND that it would work. I went to the mortuary at the appointed day/time, and the door was locked. When I called, I got an answering service. I called Veronica on her cell, and she told me she forgot she had something at her child's school, and couldn't make it - but that I could just get there a little early before the service and I could check it with the gentleman who would be running the service. The man who came in and helped me was very nice, and he helped ensure the slide show and the service went off without a hitch. The slide show played while people were coming into the chapel, a military honor guard gave my husband honors, and then we began with eulogies, with the slide show playing at the end. The service was lovely. After the service, the gentleman who ran the service gave me an Evans-Brown mortuary bag with extra 'prayer cards', the thumb drive with the slide show on it, and the urn. I asked him if the hair and candles were in the bag (it was big and very heavy), and he said that whatever was there for me was in the bag. When I got home, I found that there was NO hair, and NO candles. I called the mortuary the following day (Monday), and the call went straight to voicemail. I called *several times* and no one responded. I even left a long and detailed message on her cell phone voicemail, and I got a call back from someone at the mortuary saying Veronica saw I called her, and could she please get a message for Veronica (??). The message on the voicemail was crystal clear. I called quite a few times after that, but got no response. Many months later, I finally sat down and wrote an obituary, which I had been unable to do at the time of his passing. I sent Veronica an email and asked if she could add the text to his obituary, which at that time consisted solely of his name, birth/death dates, and a photo. Again, no response, and no addition to the obituary. (I looked for it today, and now the photo has been removed, but nothing else added.) I had to make a lot of changes in my life, including moving away several months later, so I never ended up calling again after a few months. Forward to holiday season 2025. I randomly got a call from "someone" at Evans Brown, saying they were following up with past clients about the services they received. I told him EVERYTHING noted above. This man was shocked, said it didn't SOUND like Veronica, he apologized and said that he would get to the bottom of it, and that someone would call me on Monday. If I'm not mistaken, it was the day after Christmas when we spoke. AGAIN, *I didn't get a single phone call*. I wasn't surprised, because this is what I have come to expect from them. I would DEFINITELY not recommend them. They show great customer service at the beginning of the whole ordeal, but they ignore you the first chance they get. And adding insult to injury in my case, I at least was going to have a lock of my husband's hair, but nope - they just didn't follow instructions, and never ever responded to my concerns.
