I have mixed feelings about my experience here. Dr Ayo Bankole was wonderful with me and helped me with my elbow pain using prolotheapy . I was always treated kindly by all staff . While I was on my 6 month program I felt attended to be all and felt better from my hormonal issues . After I completed my 6 month treatment, I was offered continued care for another year at a $58.00 a month fee . I thought it was reasonable as I was told that I would have a Dr appointment the month I signed up for lab work , this was in November . I can honestly say I haven't been contacted by anyone there since . It will be a year in November and at this point I just want to pay off the remainder of the "year" and be done with it . OMG! What has my life been without Inland Naturopathic! I connected with Inland Naturopathic as I started experiencing some perimenopause symptoms (*eyeroll*) and my primary care wasn't able to do much to help me since my hormone levels didn't come back off the charts (HMOs. UPDATE TO RESPONSE: You can try to make yourself appear better and more affordable than you are. That is ok. But to say that my treatment plan was offered 1/3 less is an outright lie. No misrepresentation there, a lie. It was $1200 due that day and $769 a month for 6 months following making it at minimum $5700. And the "more affordable" option we asked for was more money a month with $1000 down same day....No matter what is said the office payment plan is like a timeshare and the $87 appointment is a pay to attend sales pitch with a PowerPoint presentation about why you're different. So all future potential patients be aware, this is a naturopathic time share. I had a free 15 minute consult with dr blissett and after her saying that I sounded like a good candidate she offered me to come in and discuss options for $90. I scheduled an appointment and was a given a tour of the place, it's a nice office and felt welcoming from the front desk clerk. I met with the dr and went into more detail about my issues and was basically given a sales pitch and was told in order to be treated by her I would have to pay a whopping $5000-6000 or an easy monthly payment of over $700 with $1000 down. I was quite taken back because my understanding was this appointment was to discuss treatment, i didn't realize that it was another assessment because it was never said that's what it was. I noticed throughout my "appointment" with said dr i felt as though she was irritated with the issues I've been struggling with for a long time. I remember her saying "is there anything else?" And "is that all?" Also caught her rolling her eyes a couple of times and also sighing as if she's the one that's been plagued with the debilitating problems I've dealt with the last 7 years of my life. We definitely could not afford her extremely high prices and asked if maybe there was a different option, she was able to get it down to $3500 for 3 months and with $800 a month. She did not offer a pay as you go like my last naturopath. I feel like the appointment was misleading. I also feel like you need to be up front about how you charge your patients, rather than essentially wasting $90 and your time for a sales pitch. Dr. Bankole is very knowledgeable who cares about his patients well-being, and I have only postive experiences with every appointment I attend. I was diagnosed with distal clavicle osteolysis (weight lifters shoulder) around my AC joint a few years ago. I am a very active and physical person, and many years in the gym caused me to develop this injury overtime until I had a partial separation to the AC joint. I started with a normal procedure of seeing my general doctor to get referred to an orthopedic specialist. I followed their procedure of getting Xrays and MRIs completed, followed by many months of physical therapy. It strengthened the muscles around the injury but as I was still in high levels of pain, I started looking to other alternatives as surgery was not an option for myself. Karolyn, who is the Wellness Coordinator as well as a good friend of mine, referred me to Dr. Bankole's Prolotherapy treatment. I researched the practice beforehand and knew the procedure could be promising as well as beneficial for my current condition. Dr. Bankole reviewed and diagnosed my previous Xray and MRI documents to consider myself a proper candidate for prolotherapy, which in his professional and careful consideration I was. The entirety of my prolotherapy experience with Dr. Bankole has been more than beneficial to my initial trauma of my AC joint. The injury itself has lasted about 4 years in total so far. While I have only been doing prolotherapy here for about a years time, my pain level has dropped significantly. From the start my ac joint was around 30% healed and in much pain. My shoulder had decent range of motion, but constant sharp pain during movements or lifting was a daily issue. Even doing daily tasks such as changing clothes or taking showers was more than difficult at the time. Now I am more than happy to say I am around 85% recovered and very close to the 90th percentile. In time I hope to be fully recovered with little to no daily pain during my daily routines and in the gym. Before the prolotherapy procedures I felt I had no choice but to seek out surgery for a chance to return to my normal life, as this injury constricted myself from the start. Thanks to Dr. Bankole I am on the road to being back to 100% in my life. My advice is to keep at it and stay healthy during the procedures to help it along, as it takes time and effort on the patients part to heal more efficiently. But in time the postive results will show. I am more than grateful and appreciative to have the opportunity to be a successful patient of his. Beware!!! I asked how much an appointment would be and was told and charged $87 (after the 15 minute introduction video appointment). I made an appointment for 1.5 weeks later and never during that time did I received an invoice/receipt for the $87. When I went to the appointment we reviewed the online medical history I had filled out. I was advised to increase my water intake, double my fish oil dose and eat organic tofu. When I went to leave I was told I owed another $210. I was shocked!! I told them that I was told the cost was $87 and that I had already paid that amount. I was told that payment was a retainer. I told them I would have never booked the appointment at a cost of $297. I paid (reluctantly) and just want to make sure that future clients are not duped. read more

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Bankole. I originally saw Dr. Bankole many years ago for prolotherapy for my left knee. The results were amazing and I can say that knee is 100%. I subsequently injuried my right knee 2 years ago and was found to have a torn meniscus along with fairly advanced arthritis. The orthopedic surgeon thought I might be in need of a knee replacement soon. Remembering my past success with Dr. Bankole, I was promted to locate him again. At 71 years young, my medical doctor is always surprised when I take labs and everything is registering normal. This office is very misleading with their initial appointments. My wife and I did the free 15-minute consult, and the Dr said my wife would be a good fit for her and her specialties. We were then told to schedule a follow-up appointment to discuss treatment with the Dr. Which we did. And it was a $90 prepaid appointment. We go to the office appointment and the office is very nice. It is well furnished and very clean. The office manager is very kind and have us a nice tour of their facility. We meet with the Dr, and she is kind and listens at first. As we continue to go over all of my wifes concerns, she begins feeling as though she was frustrated and just trying to get through this part of the meeting. She then begins to go over why they're different from other naturopath offices. At that moment, it started to feel like a time share pitch. All this time, my wife and I are just hoping it was just going to shift into more like what we were led to believe, a normal discussion of a treatment plan. But that was not the case. It was a sales pitch for a $6000 6 month treatment plan broken into extremely high monthly payments. Be cautious and aware of this if you schedule an appointment here. They are charging you $90 to sit through a sales pitch to charge you up front for everything...it is very misleading and very unfair for people who don't have large amounts of cash just sitting around and who would need to use things like a FSA or HSA. read more

The Good: The facility is nice and well kept. The office staff is friendly and attentive. They are hard to reach by phone, but if you leave a message the receptionist will call you back. The NDs are knowledgeable and professional. The Bad: I saw Dr. Blissett. I had a disappointing and unsatisfactory experience. I am a prior patient who has seen Dr. Blissett in the past and had good outcomes. I recently went in with my diagnosis and labs in hand looking for a plan to address my health issue as stated per their website: "Our doctors will thoroughly review and evaluate your current health and craft an individually tailored plan to address your unique health care needs." A plan. That's what we patients go in for--a plan. Despite having a fairly uncomplicated issue, my visit produced no plan of treatment. Near the end of the visit when I asked for one, I was told to sign up for their health coaching services. What!? Telling me to sign up for coaching services is not a treatment plan---it's a sales pitch. I was there to get help in getting well, not to be up-sold. I was also upset by confusing and unclear fee structure. I was charged at a higher rate than quoted requiring me to pay an additional fee. Not a problem if I am made aware ahead of time and also not a problem if I get a treatment plan for my money. Historically, I have regularly sought out NDs for treatment and I have had good outcomes and experiences so this was not a matter of me having unrealistic expectations. Typically, I expect there is some diagnosing and possibly labs done, (which I had handled already). I also expect to have a conversation about additional fees BEFORE they are incurred and I expect that I will receive an actual treatment plan written out and provided to me before I leave.These are reasonable and pretty standard expectations that were unmet. This visit left me with the impression that the new focus at Inland Naturopathic Medical Center is in obtaining an ongoing revenue stream through health coaching, not providing "the best of natural therapies in the context of modern science and contemporary health care" as the website states NDs provide. Despite my investment of time and money, Inland Naturopathic Medical Center didn't deliver on their advertised services for me. read more
