Also, though the address is Old Town, it's actually on 349 totally in the middle of nowhere on the northern end of Dixie County toward Lafayette County and not within Old Town itself at all. If you're driving from Suwannee or Old Town to Branford or Mayo (or the other way around) this is the place to stop for a Coke and a candy bar.

Sir Hubbers & I luv us some fried chicken. "Publix" fried chicken can't be beat, however, the fried chicken here is just as Amazeballs. Nobody is confusing this place with the Disney World of gas stations. But Busy Bee absolutely wants you to know it studied the Buc-ee's playbook in great detail and copied enough homework to pass the class. And honestly? Respect. After hours on the road, I pulled in needing gas, caffeine, food, a restroom, and probably some emotional reassurance from the highway gods. Busy Bee delivered on most of it. First off, the bathrooms were clean. Not "gas station clean." Actually clean. That alone immediately moves a roadside stop up at least one full star in America's travel grading system. Then came the snack exploration phase. They had homemade jerky, specialty snacks, random road trip impulse purchases, and enough "well I wasn't planning to buy this but here we are" items to keep me wandering around longer than intended. It's the kind of place where you walk in for a drink and somehow leave holding candied pecans, smoked sausage, and a giant bag of pork rinds you'll later regret in silence. The overall vibe was solid too. Convenient. Clean. Easy stop. Good energy from the place itself. The employees though? Let's just say the staff had the collective facial expression of people who may have originally applied at Buc-ee's and ended up here after the universe made other plans. Nobody was rude. But there was definitely an emotional support shift happening behind the counter. Still, for a highway stop, Busy Bee absolutely gets the job done. It's a good place to refuel both your gas tank and your stomach before heading back into the chaos of interstate survival. This is probably a true three-and-a-half star stop if we're getting technical about it. But Yelp refuses to acknowledge the beauty of nuance, and I'm feeling generous today. This Circle K is a newer location, right on the Main Street of "downtown" Chiefland across the road from the high school. It has multiple entrances and exits from the main road, as well as from the road that runs behind. It has plenty of parking, and traffic flows at a normal rate all around. There are regular gas pumps in front of the building, and the diesel/more premium pumps are in the back. A positive about getting gas here is that there are several different rewards programs and various payment methods that will give you a nice discount off of your fill-ups. My favorite part about this location is the retail inside. I love all of the variety in all items. Usually, I am visiting here in the morning. So, I like to get a self-served Iced Coffee from their taps. There is a nice selection of milks and creamers to make your drink just as you want it. This particular visit, we also tried a Chicken Fried Steak Biscuit, which is a very unique menu item (especially for a gas station!). It was quite good. I also find myself buying other types of drinks here. They have one of the best deals on fountain drinks, with them being $.79 with the rewards card. There is also typically "2 for" sales on the energy drinks, which my fiancé frequently gets. And on anything else, I seem to find there is usually some kind of sale or deal going on as well. As far as the rest of the retail, there is a nice variety of typical items you would find at a gas station, including alcohol options. There are regular check-outs with cashiers, as well as rather high-tech self-check-outs that have a camera to ring your things up for you. Very neat! Overall, I like the Circle K brand, especially this location. I would recommend stopping here for both your car fuel and personal fuel needs if you are in the area. Just make sure you sign up for a rewards card to get the best prices!

I know the drill pull up to the pumps, go inside to pay the estimated gallons you need, fuel up, pull up to the painted line after fueling, go inside and get your actual receipt and get back on the road. They always ask your company name or if it's a private purchase and if you're a rewards member. The staff here was attentive but not overly friendly, everything went as I had hoped except the fact I just pumped $300 in diesel but that's okay I knew it was the last fill up before getting home. The outside areas seemed to be well maintained as were the restrooms. They do have a CAT Scale, I need to try this one day, - just curious what my rig weighs fully fueled to calculate my tire pressure. They do have a Speedco onsite which is useless for RVer's since they don't offer service for the RV Community even though I have a Freightliner Chassis which makes no sense but it is what it is, they are missing out on a lot of revenue I know a lot of RVer's would take advantage of this option if it was available. This gas station is very outdated and probably the worst Exxon I've been to considering the way it looks. I give it 2 stars because you can at least get gas and use the restroom if you have to here. Also, they have a huge grass area right next to it that is safe so you can let your dogs out to walk around and use the restroom.
