The second we got there I realized all the water pumps were off and there were no active waterfalls. There were tons of holes in the wall and open fence areas where a toddler, nonetheless an adult, could fall over 50ft down a cliff. Visiting Gilligan's Island Funland for mini golf was a last-minute idea, but it turned out to be a…read moreton of fun! We hadn't played in ages. We went a little early, so it wasn't too crowded, which made the experience even better. We brought Luna along with us, and no one said anything about her being there. I can't say for certain whether the place is officially pet-friendly, but sometimes it's hard to tell-especially with how well-behaved Luna is. I think people see how calm she is and don't mind, which is wonderful. It's unfortunate when one poorly behaved dog ruins it for others. Not all dogs are suited for experiences like this, but in most cases, it's more about the handler not providing the proper training and guidance. Dogs are incredibly smart-they just need direction to learn how to behave appropriately. As for the mini golf, we had a beautiful day to play. We kept Luna on her leash and had her sit or lie down while we took our turns. My husband won (I'm not the best), but we had a great time just enjoying the moment.

They had the opportunity to sell out to a Chinese group, walk away with a fat check. Instead they worked with the members to fund rehabilitation & upgrades. I don't know about others but I want to keep American property in America hands. So come & play it's only getting better as we help fund the corse. The Chinese own about 23 corses here let's keep our American pass time American. Remember when we Finally shot down the spy balloon? It crossed the country to end here in the Myrtle Beach area. Very hard review due to the mixed feelings I have about this place. My first impression was over…read morethe phone when I asked about check in time I was told it is 3pm and if you want to check in before it is an additional 25 dollar fee, seriously? yes even if the site is available, ok so what do I do if my GPS takes me there and arrive at 2:40 and she said you still have to pay the 25 dollar fee or you can wait at a nearby Walmart. Gave me the impression that is not a customer friendly campground. I wasn't given the discount because I didn't ask for it, no refunds after the site has been reserved, no credits either. Upon arrival we were waiting to be checked in behind a Class A rig by the gate house and due to the size of the Class A I could not read the tiny sign indicating that if there was nobody at the gate to come inside, finally when that rig moved I realized I had to go inside, another 5 or six minutes wasted after 3pm no big deal but it adds up to my initial disconformity. The place is huge! I have never been to a campground with over 1000 sites not one hundred but one thousand! Very hard water but that is not their fault, city water. Got to our site and it looks ok but but but it is not concrete and it is not gravel, it is a combination of dirt sand and leaves. That tells me the site may have been vacant for several days and the 25 dollar fee is not even justified because I am not rushing employees to clean up the site that just became available the day of my arrival. Dirt and sand, no problem as long as there is no rain because I brought my 14 X 14 rug but guess what it rained all day the day before our departure and it was a bit of a mess even if we take our shoes off inside the coach. We didn't partake in any of the amenities available like the water park and the corn hole etc because of the convention we were attending here and BTW the facility we were given was very nice to accommodate about 80 plus of us. I take one star for the fact that my site wasn't quite level and for the dirt, it is not even gravel for goodness sake. I wouldn't call it a resort unless every site was concrete Would I come back? Yes just because the beach right there a few feet from the sites that are closest to the Information Center where we gather every day for our conference. It turns out they give a discount but they won't offer it to you unless you ASK for it and because I didn't ask at the time I booked they refused to refund because it is run by a corporation with dozens and tens of dozens of employees. Inclined to take two stars but because I had a great time with our new friends at the convention I am leaving this place very happy and wishing to come back when it is not raining ALL DAY with a bloody mess on my shoes with all the dirt and sand. Water park inside for the youngins but the dirt and sand prevents me from calling a five star resort but a four star campground

Gave me a golf cart ticket for parking in a 4 seater spot instead of a 6 seater spot, totally retarded. Bath house 6 ,human shit on the floor at 10pm still there at 9 am Sunday , no toilet paper in any stall men's or lady. Unlikely to return.
