Beware of Double Charges at This Store I made a purchase on…read moreApril 25th, and the register was not working correctly. The cashier asked me to move to another register. Before doing so, I specifically asked if my card would be charged twice, and I was assured it would not. Unfortunately, I later discovered that I was charged twice for the same items. When I brought this to the store's attention, they refused to issue a refund and even went as far as to justify the duplicate charge to my credit card company. Only one of the transactions has a signature, and the second charge appears under a different system ("SQ Southeastern Salvage"), which raises additional concerns. I spoke with someone who identified themselves as the store manager, but they insisted both charges were valid. This has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. I strongly encourage others to carefully monitor their receipts and credit card statements when shopping here.

They had Christmas decor everywhere, from trees to ornaments, wreaths and other accessories. They also had home decor items (to a lesser degree), for Halloween and Thanksgiving as well. You will find pillows, yard decorations and banners, welcome signs and other accents to enhance your current decor. It is a cute and well appointed shop. If you wander to the back of the store, you will see that they also have clothing items, (some dresses and tops), but mostly a large selection of southern inspired and holiday tees. Outside of the decor and clothing, they also carry candles, jewelry and other gift worthy items. The ladies here were very warm and friendly and we enjoyed our visit. If you are exploring downtown Decatur, you must pop in for a visit and no, I did not see any pineapples!

I will never shop here again. ****UPDATE***** 07/12/2025 I spoke with customer service and scheduled a pick up to return my items, for today 07/12/25 between 10 am - 2 pm, the person arrives to pick up the items but calls about an hour later stating the store refused my return. I call the store and had the displeasure of speaking with one of the most unprofessional beings I have ever encountered. She tells me she has no idea who that person was who came TO MY HOME to pick up the merchandise but had him return TO MY HOME to bring it back. She refused to allow me to speak to anyone else, told me to call customer service and hung up on me. I am irate!!

My husband and I came here in search of a china cabinet / hutch and found a beautiful hardwood Kincaid at a great price. There were a surprising amount of options and styles, too. They have a discount system based on how long the items have been there, so if you shop on the first day of the month you might get some steals. We happened to be in on the last day of the month near closing time, and negotiated successfully for the lower price the item would have been marked down to the next morning. They can also arrange delivery. The guys who delivered our piece were very polite and careful. It was all around a great experience. I would go there again next time I'm furniture shopping.
