There was a lot of upselling and some suggestions that didn't make sense. As it was hard to get an electrician with the ice storm, I went ahead with the work. It ended up that the work had significant problems such that my insurance company got involved and sent out an electrical engineer to review it. In addition to there being cosmetic problems with the install damaging my dry wall and exterior brick, there were major wiring problems that were fire code violations. I called multiple times, ended up getting paired with the regional manager, and after multiple visits to my house to remedy things, they finally made stuff right... but it took roughly 3 months! I paid my bill in full and got invoices that my account balance was zero. I planned to not do business with them again, but was relieved it was finally over. Then, 3 months after the work was completed and I paid the bill in full, I got a letter from a lawyer saying Mr. Electric had put a lien on m house for not paying. I called and confirmed I owed nothing... and then spent weeks trying to track down what had happened with phone calls to the local offices, regional office and corporate office and the lawyer they had engaged. Most of the time, the person who would answer the phone would sound dismayed, promise to help, and then never call back. It was a huge hassle, and wasted so much of my time, and was very stressful. Eventually, their corporate office had the lien removed, but NEVER apologized or acted in any way remorseful. For clarity and transparency: The work I had done was through an affiliate office in surrounding Nashville, but the lien came from the Huntsville and Chattanooga offices, and the corporation that owns these franchises was horrific to work with. If I could give them zero stars, I would.Working with them was an incredibly disappointing and lousy experience.

This was a manufacturing issue not the store but when I called the store, their service was amazing! They actually immediately delivered a replacement fan out to my home which was 30 minutes away so that my installers could complete the job without having to come back! We spent 25 minutes looking at the options and no one came to assist. I understand that their options are exceptional, with exceptional prices. I was looking for exceptional, with price not being a factor. I can only assume, that as a person of color they thought we could not afford the lighting or didn't choose to bother with us. They were done once we entered the building. The showroom had 7 to 8 employees and no customers, so one can only assume the later. As we were leaving the building, another woman of color almost had to beg for assistance, as we witnessed a white women was carrying boxes out to another women's car. I would never recommend spending my money where I'm not even recognized. I drove across town to in-line who appreciated and recognized me and my money. In-line staff was so much nicer and willing to assist. Of course, I purchased two post lights at $ 450.00 each. I guess Richard's lighting wasn't interested in my money.

For starters, Mike was late for his 7/10 appt to hang my porch light. Said he overslept. Fine,…read morethings happen, no harm done. My bf was at home with him while I was at work, so I did not see the end result until Mike was gone. He got the light hanging, I'll give him that, but he left the cords and chains all bunched, 2 out of 3 of the globes broken (just found that when we had to take it back down ourselves), and he has not responded to either of my texts about adjusting anything. Now I have to call another electrician to redo how the cord is wound thru the chain because it is firmly anchored on both ends so I can't, and I'm afraid of my light being further damaged. I feel like I need to send electrician #2 back up in the attic as well to check behind Mike and ensure that he did the part in the ceiling that we cannot see correctly. Mike is unprofessional, dismissive and does not stand by his work, I suspect because he was aware that he broke the 2 globes when he hung my light, didn't say anything & just took my money and washed his hands. I will never be doing business with Johnson Electrical & Power again (not that Mike cares or he'd answer my text), and I'll be sharing this shameful experience with everyone I know.

One Aisle of power tools, an aisle and half of the air compressor tools. It is definitely really interesting. Welding supplies, air compressors, Gas tanks, generators, lawnmowers ( slim selection right now), clothing, pallet jacks, really they have a ton of stuff. The employees were super helpful they stopped and asked how we were doing a few times as we wondered through the store. I was randomly picking up objects and my husband was looking at different tools and supplies he would like. Overall it is a great experience. We will definitely be back. He did say the prices in the store were a bit higher than the catalog they have, but with the shipping and handling cost in the catalog the store prices might equal.
