I explained to her that I have Delta Dental Insurance and it should cost around $90 or less. She became indignant and claimed that I was not a good fit for their dental office. So, if they try to overcharge you, and you say anything, they will (triangulate) and attack you, and claim, "You're not a good fit" - it's ridiculous. Todd Esau greeted me from the back of the dental chair (the invisible dentist). I asked him to come around so I could see his face and have a respectful greeting - something he was unable to figure out. Todd Esau was so dysfunctional that he was unable to display any common decency. Todd Esau kept spraying air on all my teeth (with bone loss) on the lower right, preventing him from being able to ascertain what tooth needed treatment. He recommended that I go back to California for my dental care. Overall, Todd Esau is completely and totally dysfunctional and the most negative person I have ever met. AVOID............. Coming to Discover Dental was a BEAUTIFUL experience. My Dental Hygienist was awesome to talk to. Very kind and personable and so smart giving a run down of what she was doing and why! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, they are also efficient and had me in and out quick for my cleanings. My wife had to have some major work done and Erik took his time to explain the options, get us pricing and plan it all out. Most importantly, he was honest and cared, he followed up on his own time after it to make sure everything was ok and got her in quick when she had another issue in relation to the work. One important thing to me is the privacy, they have individual rooms vs other places that just have stations next to each other with small partitions. My wife has a fear of dental work and the place we visited first in mcpherson had all their stations in one area in a row, during our consult their we could hear another patient in pain and for my wife that is unbearable, with Lindsborg Family Dental you get a private room. During my cleaning all instruments were sealed in a bag and opened in front of me, this is an important thing to look for when getting dental work! I went to Dr. McAnally at Goddard Family Dental today at 10:30 AM. Because he knew it was an emergency, he had me in at 2:00 PM today,, fabricated and inserted a temporary cap (takes a couple of weeks to manufacture a replacement permanent one) and he filled a cavity in an adjacent tooth that became visible when the old root canal fell out as well.
