When I told them I was going to pay what I was quoted because that's what I was quoted they said ok and I left. Got a bill a month later stating I had to pay. When speaking to Dr. Gillespie about it he said that "plans change from year to year" (like I should know that) and that he "can't expect his girls to run every estimate over again". Which is a very shady business practice. They had every opportunity prior to me having the procedure done to make sure I knew the correct price. Aspen Dental failed to respond to repeated letters and requests from my insurance company, which has now delayed and blocked proper payment. I paid $3,000 out of pocket toward an $11,000 bill that should have been largely covered by insurance. Because Aspen Dental refuses to work with my insurer, the claim cannot be processed correctly, and they are now threatening to send the balance to collections--six months after the work was completed. I am stuck paying interest on a credit card for charges that should have been reimbursed months ago. This situation has caused significant financial stress and should never happen to a patient who has valid insurance. Extremely disappointed and would not recommend Aspen Dental to anyone.
