Neither my daughter or I live in North Carolina so we had to travel. When I first reached out to the owner Nicole she was very pleasant and it made me feel comfortable to spend my money with her. She provided me all the details involved in my package and I was satisfied with the details and what I was getting for my money so, I locked in. Once locked in Nicole's communication changed. She took forever to respond back to my questions about decor and then proceeded to tell me we have plenty of time to go over decorations because my shower is in January and we will get tighter in December to discuss. I understood and tried not to bother her unless I had questions that needed to be answered from my caterer. December arrives and still nothing so o reached out and again I had to wait for a response. By this time I'm getting anxious because I have already paid the full amount for the for the event. When I did finally speak with her, I asked if we can have a Zoom meeting because I am from out of town to see what she had decorating wise, and she proceeded to tell me that she had not purchased the item yet, but she will have them the day of the shower that made me real uneasy. I contacted her on my way into town to inform her that I will be there and ask if I can come see the venue prior to the baby shower which was three days before and she told me that she would not be available until the morning of that again made me real uneasy because I didn't know what I was walking into. I was informed by my Caterer that she didn't even know what time the event started and she stated that she didn't realize it was that earl. I have never worked with a professional that I was unable to see the event space or the decorations and give my stamp of approval since I am the paying customer and this is my vision that they are bringing to life. On the day of the shower, I received a text message from Nicole that informed me that I can now come before 10 am at 9:15am. I replied back that I was going to be late and Nicole called me 30 minutes later to informed me she had left the venue and proceeded to give me instructions on Cleanup. I was in shock when she said she left because I had never met this woman. Once arrived I had trouble finding the venue because it's inside a building and she had me come through the back. The building has horrible reception and I issues with getting directions from Nicole without going outside because her venue is located on the basement. When I finally got down in the basement and saw the spot I was immediately disappointed. The decorations were lack luster. A lot of wall space that had not been covered with decorations. The table formula daughter and husband to sit at was barely decorated and I didn't care for it at all. I couldn't get anything to work until she finally provided me the WiFi and then only the music I was able to get to work, but I was able was unable to use the tv to do the slideshow of pics we discussed. The bathrooms are on the outside of the venue which isn't a problem unless you have a key which I didn't have and I had to keep asking the ladies across the hall for the key as they were trying to braid hair. No tissue in the rest rooms so we had to figure out who to ask. Had she waited around for my arrival to greet me as a paying customer and give me instructions and a tour in person things could've been a little better knowing your service sucks in a basement. Needless to say, I did not enjoy myself and I tried to keep my cool for my daughter's sake. I wanted this to turn out beautiful. We traveled way too far for mediocrity and I paid a good penny for her service that was very lackluster and unprofessional. I'm just now settling to write this review because I was so disappointed. I couldn't even talk to her when she decided to come at the end for clean up because I didn't want to make a scene and embarrass my child. This experience has put a bad taste in my mouth about planning an event out of state. I hate giving bad reviews, but this experience was horrible.

I am sure the venue played a huge part in making the wedding I attended there as magical as it was. The location- The venue was built on acreage in the middle of no where. That is not bad thing. It is convenient to get and not far off the beaten path but the land it sits on it unspoiled by development . This setting would be impossible to duplicate in an urban area surrounded by buildings and visual city noise. The grounds- they provide a copious amount of parking at the top of the campus. We had parking attendants guiding us to or place to park. From the parking area we immediately got a panoramic view of the vast space in its unobstructed entirety. As we walked past the inside indoor building we signed a guest book and proceeded to "The Garden" for the ceremony. The grass around the inside areas and under the tents was dark green pure fescue. The grass and the landscaping was perfectly manicured. The grass in the garden area was neatly mowed all the way to the pond on the far end of the property. The combination of hills, trees, and evening sky created a backdrop impossible to recreate by man. They had a fire pit burning beside the cocktail area that was tastefully done and surrounded by white wooden adirondack chairs. There wasn't a single area on the grounds that needed attention. The inside space- the large inside venue space provides a versatile area for your event. The inside offers over 3000 square feet of space. The wedding I attended used this area for the reception. It had retractable doors on the side that opened up to a huge tent area. There was the buffet area and dining tables. The main inside space also hosted the DJ and the dance floor. The inside area has a caterer's area. They have bride's suite upstairs and a groom's area that are apart from each other. The lighting, setup, decor, colors, and everything about the inside area is opulent. The bar- they have created a bar area with a large deck area. The bartender area is covered and well lit. The rest of the deck area is open and doesn't obstruct the view. The wedding setup- we walked to "The Garden" area where we saw a wedding arch embellished with beautiful flowers and white fabric. A grassy aisle divided 200 white folding chairs arranged in rows. The landscape was gradually going downhill and ending at a large pond at the base of the woods. Before we entered the seating area we passes the stringed musicians playing the preservice music. They continued to play until us guests made our way to our table assignment. During the cocktail hour the wedding pictures were made. The sun was setting in the background creating a picturesque moment. The venue has also created several photo-perfect areas for wedding photographers. We stayed till the very end. Helped plan/attended a wedding reception at The Loft on Halloween out of all days! Small, intimate…read morevenue in the heart of Historic Downtown Concord, this little place is perfect for smaller events. The rustic feel of the interior gave the party a nice, warm vibe. We were able to comfortably entertain about 35 people in the venue space. The bottom has a long, open floor space with a metal staircase leading up to second floor that I could see a small wedding ceremony taking place easily in here. While I was really happy with the outcome, there was still a lot of people elbow to elbow for most of the night. We decided to only use the upstairs for food prep that was then brought downstairs to serve in order to keep all of our guests together for the whole event. Upstairs features a Kitchenette with stove, microwave, countertop space, and a refrigerator. In the future, if we use the venue again, we might use the upstairs for dancing. While preparing food upstairs, I was unable to figure out why the garbage disposal in the sink wasn't working. Other than that, the kitchenette did exactly what we needed it for. While the primary planner (I was just helping decorate and moderate) had no problem getting in contact with the owners of the venue, I did notice while doing some research for this review that their website has been taken down. Also, it appears they were very active on social media a couple of years ago and then it all just dropped off. Definitely think they could do more with the space, but glad we were able to get the spot for a good price! Parking was super simple for everyone. Besides the handful of street parking spots, the downtown parking garage is adjacent to the building. No time limit on the weekends! If you're looking for an event space near downtown, definitely give 'em a call!

But most importantly, the team is incredible. Rachel was our planner and we worked with her leading up to the wedding. She helped us create a timeline for the day as well as pick decor. She kept us organized and made sure we covered all the details we would have otherwise surely missed. Mel B was our day of coordinator and she kept everyone in line in the best way possible. We had a snafu with one of our vendors arriving late. All I had to do was let her know, and she immediately executed a plan B flawlessly. We didn't have to worry about a thing except for enjoying ourselves. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

The wedding was held in the gazebo on the front half of the property and as we are watching the bridal party and groom come up the bridal march starts... The bride doesn't come walking down the aisle though... Oh no, just like in many of our fantasy weddings that we've all pictured in our heads, the beautiful bride is being brought to her fairy tale on a horse drawn carriage. Her veil is flowing behind her in the wind, and she is sitting with her father, who will soon be giving her away. He has his arm wrapped around her, and you can only imagine what they are talking about. The horses hooves clop against the ground in an elegant fashion and after they go around the place, father and bride are dropped off to do the official walk down the aisle. Beautiful. I'm getting teary eyed just rethinking about it and telling all of you! The ceremony was beautiful and the reception was held under tents on the rear part of the property. Very nice place and the staff were all extremely professional. They even give you the option to bring your own alcohol for your wedding instead of purchasing it through the company with an additional cost added on. (Maybe that's standard.. I was impressed with how organized they were. My favorite part, besides the house and grounds, was the HUGE selection of decorations you can choose from that they include in the price of a wedding package. They had so many things to choose from, it boggled my mind. Candelabras, chandeliers, sculptures...you name it. Then after you've decided on decorations, you work with a member of the staff who helps you coordinate the look you want...which is really helpful if you're like me and have ZERO design sense. Everything was just like I dreamed it would be for the wedding. Several guests commented on how great the staff were, and how beautiful everything was. They even provide a horse and carriage for the bride and groom immediately following the ceremony. My only complaint was the DJ. You have to use the one they partner with. You can only conduct business with them over the phone and through e-mail. Still, I didn't worry because the person I communicated with seemed very thorough. She told me I had two options: I could either list every track I wanted played, or I could list only the special songs (like first dance, father/daughter dance, etc.) and the DJ would select the rest for the reception. I wanted to be sure that the people who came to the wedding would know all the music, so I worked for several hours on a music list. I was assured that only the music on the list would be played. But during the reception, NONE of the music other than the special selections were right. I didn't recognize half of what was played. Only four or five people got up to dance all evening. That was really disappointing. If the DJ wasn't going to use the list I created, I wished I had been told that before I spent several hours putting it together. Other people might not have an issue though, if they don't mind leaving the music entirely up to the DJ. Overall I loved this place and the staff at Saratoga Springs. The only drawback is the requirement that you use their DJ and their caterer (the caterer was EXCELLENT, though) so if you want to choose who provides those services on your own, you're a little bit stuck...but the pros definitely outweigh the cons!!

We chose to do 3 wine flights - which comes with 4 different wines of your choosing. Sweet Wines (8) - They have some good sweet wines! The ones that I really enjoyed were Summer Sangria, Summer Breeze, Carlos Sweet (my husband really liked this one), Spring, and Beachy Blush. Fruit Wines (4) - we didn't really care for their fruit wines, they were just okay, except for the blackberry, didn't really care for that one at all. We really enjoyed our flights and look forward to coming back. Will have to try their slushies next time! Definitely recommend Dennis if you are in the area.

If I could go back, I would not pick this venue for my wedding…read more My husband and I chose Dennis Vineyards for one reason above all others: we wanted a New Year's Eve wedding where we could celebrate ringing in the New Year with our family and friends at midnight. That was the vision for our wedding and the deciding factor in choosing this venue over others. Unfortunately, our experience was nothing like what we expected. When we arrived, the ceremony area, the backdrop for our vows and wedding photos, was not in the condition we expected. There were bird droppings on the gazebo roof, trash and debris in the pond, black streaks along the ceremony aisle, a quick/bad paint job over torn paint on the gazebo and dripped paint on the ground, and landscaping that appeared poorly maintained. The bridal suite also contained clumps of hair from previous occupants, and despite repeated attempts to find staff for help, the suite remained extremely cold throughout our entire time getting ready. When discussed with Cassie, the general manager of the venue, she said "well I had my wedding here in October and it looked this way too". So that means that they knew the venue was in this condition for months before the wedding and made no attempt to clean, repaint, or replace anything that was not in presentable condition. The most disappointing part of the evening was the early bar closing around 11:00 p.m despite what was communicated beforehand. Based on our communications with the venue beforehand, the New Year's Eve celebration was to continue through midnight. Instead, the last hour of our reception unfolded very differently than we had envisioned, and many guests left before midnight. When I discussed this with Cassie that evening, she stated they were closing the bar early because they had run out of some of the beers and wines they were serving. She then gave the remaining bottles of wine to members of my bridal party and advised us to do a fake sparkler send-off before taking anyone who wanted to continue celebrating to their bar across the street. However, when brought up later she stated that they closed the bar due to guest intoxication. That explanation is confusing to me because why did she give away bottles of wine and tell myself and the guests to go to the bar across the street? And then give us free champagne when we got there? The midnight celebration was the entire reason we booked a New Year's Eve wedding and overshadowed the last hour and a half of my wedding with stress and disappointment. What has been even more disappointing has been how these concerns were handled afterward. I reached out privately, documented my concerns, and spent months attempting to resolve everything professionally before writing this review. Rather than feeling heard, I felt that many of my concerns were dismissed or explained away. Instead of acknowledging how these issues affected our wedding day, much of the response focused on deflection and minimized the concerns rather than actually addressing the concerns I had raised about the venue itself. I waited months before posting this review because I wanted to give Dennis Vineyards every opportunity to address these concerns privately first. Unfortunately, those efforts did not lead to a resolution. I'm not writing this because I'm looking for sympathy. I'm writing it because if I had known this would be my experience, both on my wedding day and afterward, I would have chosen a different venue. You only get one wedding day. You can't recreate your ceremony, your reception, or your midnight New Year's countdown. Those moments are gone forever. Every couple deserves a venue that is prepared, communicates honestly, and takes responsibility when expectations are not met. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I sincerely hope other couples have a better experience than we did, but based on our experience, I cannot recommend Dennis Vineyards for such an important day.

I stopped by 601 milestone venue which has recently been added to Concord, North Carolinas biggest,…read morebrightest, boldest new venue rental spaces. Based on what I have seen, this is definitely going to be a great location to do almost any type of party or event. It's very spacious, there's a huge lobby to receive guest and plenty of space to host any size party or event. Oh yes, and there's plenty parking. The pictures I've posted are set up for Hollywood themed prom and as you can see is very spacious with plenty of room for everything including a 360 Photo area. I had the pleasure of meeting Anthony who does the food servicing for the event space and he represents Bistro catering which comes highly recommended by 601 Milestone venue. In the very near future, this location will be designed to be broken down for seven different events, which gives you an idea of the amount of space in this venue. FYI: they have two locations; one at Gibson Mills in Concord, NC, and the other on Warren Coleman Boulevard in Concord. Concord was long overdue for a venue space such as 601 Milestone.

The Swanee Theater is a truly unique venue--recently 'brought back to life' within the last 12…read moremonths, it's been really exciting to see such commitment to bring live entertainment to downtown Kannapolis in such a historic/storied setting. This past Thursday was my first time seeing an actual show here and it was the Morgan Wallen Tribute live music event. Tickets were a VERY reasonable $10 (purchased in advance) and the setup inside was very cool because they filled the general open area with high-top bar tables so everyone could sit and watch the show in a comfortable, relaxed environment. The bar was adequately stocked and available throughout the show. Overall, an awesome time. Looking forward to seeing additional shows here in the future.

Having to buy 4 seats to get a table is fine but the tables need to be a little bigger. But overall the few shows we have seen here have been great. We would like to see maybe some B list bands or bands that have come back to do smaller shows like at Village Park. I think this would be the perfect venue for such. But until that happens we will still enjoy the tribute shows.
