We traveled all the way from Seattle and booked this place specifically because it's advertised as an LGBTQ, adult-only, clothing-optional resort. When we arrived, there was an undisclosed women's event taking over the property. The event page even states they would be hosting exclusively women that weekend, something that was never mentioned during booking. When my husband went to use the pool as expected, staff told us we needed to wear clothes because of the event. That directly contradicts the "clothing-optional" experience they promote. We felt out of place and uncomfortable enough that we left shortly after. If this had been disclosed upfront, we would have never booked. This felt like a bait and switch. read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I have stayed at Inn on the Drive several times, and each time has been a wonderful experience. The rooms are always perfectly clean and well maintained, the proximity to Wilton Drive is unbeatable, yet it is still relaxing and enjoyable. The grounds are beautiful and provide the perfect place to recharge and rest. The highlight has to be the friendly yet professional service from Michael, who greets you with a warm and welcoming smile and makes sure your stay is always perfect! Really loved this resort. The grounds inside the property are well maintained and the units seem nice too. We stayed at the Villa and that was absolutely amazing. And you simply can't beat the location right in the heart of Wilton Manors with quick walking access to shopping, eating and bars and clubs. Can't recommend this enough. read more

This was a bit of a mixed experience for us. The location was great. The Room was basic, small and dated but clean. The bed was supported by blocks of wood and bricks which made it sway like a boat. There was rain damage (mould) on the ceiling and the AC struggled to keep room cool. It was damp. As for the grounds (there was a $15 resort fee) there was a small pool but very little space around it to socialize so guests are either in their room or in the small pool. The upside was that the owner was very nice and very helpful - could not have been nicer. Overall I would not recommend staying here unless the price comes down and/or rooms are upgraded. read more

Great location but that's it. No housekeeping service was provided us although the maid was on property a few hours each day. We had to replenish our own coffee, cups, towels, etc. (we only had one roll of toilet paper). The manager told us to help ourselves from the closet under the back stairs. The WiFi wasn't strong enough to reach the building we were in but it was okay at the pool. There's no ice machine on property and the mini fridge in our room was filled with items that we were told we'd be charged $3 a piece for. So, we were unable to keep our beer cold and we couldn't make cocktails. This meant that we had to leave the premises and go to a bar or restaurant every time we wanted a drink. This is inconvenient and extremely expensive. The grounds are not well maintained and there are some fans scattered about the property that create an unsafe maze we had to navigate to avoid tripping or falling. There is no breakfast at this bed & breakfast unless you want to pay for something from the fridge. It appears the new management could use some schooling in the hospitality industry. Especially dealing with the gay community, it's important to pay attention to the details and present a clean and well maintained property. We spent $200 per night and should have had a much better experience. We don't require a lot of fuss and we rarely complain but this was truly a major disappointment. read more

After some research, we selected this hotel/Inn. It was the best choice we could have made, a Shangra-la and oasis, (literally) around the corner from everything! First, I want to say I think the property is a good location and very convenient. I do have concerns I wish to share with you regarding my stay. As you know in this environment with current and past COVID concerns, cleanliness and safety of guests should be of the most paramount concern. Unfortunately, I did not experience that upon my arrival and inspected my room. The manager knows because he came to my room to clean the air conditioner from heavy dust and some black formation on the blower vent. Aside from that obvious issue there was more in my experience; those were: 1. The ceiling fan was full of dust that instead of complaining I cleaned them because of my allergies. 2. No instructions on television operation with two remotes. 3. No replenishment of towels or refreshments, coffee, etc. or offered by the staff. 4. Iron was not present, and location of the ironing board had to be discovered. 5. Blinds were broken. 6. Both swimming pools were never cleaned from yard debris. 7. Room snacks were available, but no indication of additional fee and my card was charged additionally for them. While these may seem trivial to some, they are all a part of the customer's experience or lack of a quality experience for the amount you charge for a stay. At $270 a night I would expect much better value for such a price. I could have, as a Hilton Honors member, stayed at the Hilton Marina for $565 for three nights, had breakfast provided, but chose your place for convenience and what appeared to be a nicely run facility. Unfortunately, my experience did not line up with my expectations at a cost of $810, plus $35 for cheap snacks. read more

Excellent location, great value for the money. It's right behind all of the action on Wilton manors. So if your planning on a stay in Wilton, I would recommend this place as you don't need a car, unless you want to visit the beach. The owner is new to running this business but he has plenty of experience in the hotel industry and takes care of guests. They also have on site laundry (included), self service. The pools are very nice and heated. No breakfast is being served at the moment because of COvID but I highly recommend this place if you want to stay close to everything. Only downside is sometimes you can hear the music from the pub that the property is located behind. But clean sheets and friendly staff make this worth the 5 stars. read more

Best time I've ever had. The owners Walter and Tony are so accommodating. The grounds are cozy and so convenient to all the action on Wilton Drive. The room we stayed in had a king size bed and we were given the option to have our continental breakfast brought to our room at no extra charge or enjoy the ambience of the patio. Great place to stay I recommend it to all who want a great, ultra clean and luxurious place to stay. Right across the street is the all inclusive famous Alibi and Hunters. The area is minutes from the beach and the pool was spectacular. Walter and Tony were amazing hosts and were very knowledgeable about the area and gave us a great historical synopsis about the property and how they came up with their ingenious idea. Tony gave us a great tour upon check in and even offered us to bring breakfast to our room daily. The price was phenomenal especially since we were doing a little stay cation get away from Miami. They are booked alot so I recommend calling ahead it its worth it 100%. read more

I haven't written a lot of reviews because I'm cations about what I say. However, I have stayed here now 3 times, just as a staycation. Walter and Tony are dynamic people who get and love being hospitable. The rooms are adorable and the grounds are well kept. It is in the heart of Wilton Manors and only a few miles from the beach. Tony and Walt were great - I really appreciated their service. Just a heads up - this is a very small property - there are only four rooms. Don't expect to have a resort feel - the pool is very pretty, but there won't be anyone around. Which is good if you're looking to have the place to yourself. The room we stayed in was very clean but had a bit of a smoke smell - hopefully this can be fixed. The property is right next to the bars - walking distance - that is a good thing. read more

As a former long time Fort Lauderdale resident I can tell you that the location doesn't get any better if you want to say in the heart of gay Fort Lauderdale. Walter and Tony welcomed me like someone welcoming old friends into their home. Although not especially big, the room was quite comfortable and accommodating. Each room faces the pool. And as bustling and full of activity as Wilton Drive can get, sitting by the pool left you feeling you were far removed from it. A great place to stay in a great location with great hosts.
