It was built for the workers of the Breakers Hotel. The Bed and Breakfast will be 100 years old next year. Rebecca and Maggie are Managers and co managers of the Bed and Breakfast. Overly nice and helpful. There are 11 rooms; 2 private cottages and 3 bedrooms/ 2 bath apartment and many rooms with either a king size poster bed or 2 queen beds. There is a continental breakfast; Pastries, Nonnis( Chocolate) delicious. Coffee, Tea, ice cold water. They give you 2 complimentary Pellegrini bottles of water. Our room was a king size poster bed with a sitting area, double sinks, private bathroom, tub/shower. Many toiletries; shampoo, soap, cream. A TV, microwave, refrigerator. The bed was amazingly comfortable with big fluffy pillows and extremely comfortable comforter. Ceiling fan. Private patio outside with a shower. Big beautiful French doors that open up to the heated pool only steps away from the room. They even have an iron and board and hair dryer. If you forgot your bug stray or sun screen it is provided free. They are right across from the Art Armory that happened to have a show outdoors this weekend. Free street parking. They have 3 lounge chairs by the pool with cushions and towels by the pool. Outside the room is a table with chairs. Every comfort from home. Every room looks onto the pool. Very quiet neighborhood and beautiful palm trees surround the property creating a surreal atmosphere and a beautiful Bed and Breakfast. Please come to Grandview Gardens Bed and Breakfast. We will be coming back soon.

The suite had a living room with Netflix, Amazon Prime and drawer full of movies. Full kitchen and patio outside. The bed was king size with beautiful soft and hard pillows. The pool was a few steps away surrounded by palm trees and the lobby in the main building and had snacks for free. Cold soda and water, pretzels, chips and candy jar all free. The vibe is very quaint, with lots of beautiful antiques. The property is quiet, which lends itself to truly feeling like you're getting away. We stayed in the Michelangelo suite, and it was absolutely gorgeous. The drapes around the bed were so romantic, and it felt so cosy. The bathroom was stunning, the dimmer chandelier was perfect for setting a nice relaxing mood. Breakfast varies each morning, but it was delicious every day. The baked french toast was a favorite between me and my husband. There's tea and cookies at 3pm every day, and they have a great selection of different teas and brands. I would one hundred percent recommend staying at this bed and breakfast, and I have in fact already told multiple people in my life to check it out.

That was a letdown. Also, I had a situation that needed attention, I reached out to Marilyn, however my email, voicemail and text were ignored. She never addressed it at all. We came back to the room one day and Marilyn was upstairs. I went upstairs to introduce myself and she was shutting the door to another room in the hall knowing I was coming up the stairs. I said Hi, are you Marilyn and she poked her head out and said yes, I don't have a bra on. OK, that was quite awkward. She never made an attempt to come introduce herself to us. Never let us know that no breakfast will ever be served. She should've let us know how to go about using the bikes and or kayaks that are supposably there for guest use. On a positive note, we absolutely loved the area. There are lots of walkways, a park, the water, and restaurants. The porch was a pleasure to sit and relax. There are 2 community refrigerators and a nice coffee/tea maker. The home itself looks nice but not welcoming to guests that might want to sit in the living room to get out of their little room for a bit. Overall, I would not stay there again. If Marilyn doesn't want to run the home anymore, she should hire someone to run it. Seemed to me that she had no interest in making us feel welcome. Also, I saw her outside the home as I was preparing to leave at checkout at 11:00. I mentioned to her that our flight was not until 7:30 that evening. She tells me there is a Top Golf near the airport that we can go hang out in. A welcoming person would've said you are welcome to hang out on the porch if you would like. We were the only guests in the home the entire 5 days. I needed to go back on the porch as I forgot something, and the keypad already had us locked out at 11:02. Not welcoming at all. I gave it 2 stars for the location. The place has a lot of potential and could've been such a better experience. Luckily for us, we know how to enjoy ourselves wherever we go. We had a great time exploring Stuart, Jensen Beach, Fort Pierce, Port St Lucie and Fort Lauderdale. Florida is beautiful.

The location itself is a short walk away from Ocean Inlet Beach Park, which has a path that leads directly to the beach. A few minutes north is the parking lot for the Boynton Inlet Pier. Parking was relatively easy, with the main lot nestled behind the property, facing the inter-coastal (and the multi-million dollar homes we definitely cannot afford). The building itself is old, so if anyone who wants to visit is physically impaired, it is best to stick to the first floor, as the second floor can only be accessed via concrete stairs. The weather was perfect for swimming, but due to red tide lingering around the coast, we decided not to swim on the beach. Instead, we utilized the swimming pool. A perfect size for a nice swim, but if multiple people are sharing it, it is best not to create too many wakes. Surrounded by palm trees, flowers, and other plants which add to an old Florida aesthetic. The miniature water fountains scattered throughout add to the aesthetic of attempting to have Florida resemble a tropical paradise. With the property being compact within a limited amount of space, it provides a cozy atmosphere, making the property feel smaller, and therefore, more 'home-like'. Behind the pool is a large wooden open-air pavilion, allowing guests a place to hide from the sun and to socialize if they so choose. Surrounding the pool were large beach chairs and beach umbrella, which we promptly used after our swim. There was a grill, but we did not get to use it. Our hotel room was located at the front-left corner of the property, facing the highway and swimming pool. We kept our privacy thanks to each window having both roller blinds and blackout blinds. The room was clean and had plenty of space, feeling more like a well-furnished apartment split into different sections. It included a comfortable king-size bed, an accessible patio with a wide living room, an actual kitchen with a refrigerator stocked with bottled water (at no additional charge), and a clean bathroom with a unique glass paneled sink. In the kitchen was a binder, which could be used by guests as a guide to check out the best local areas in Palm Beach County. If this facility offered guests to rent for a monthly rate, I would not be shocked if some took up on the offer. The cherry on top of this experience was having a positive encounter with the incredibly helpful staff. They helped us check into our rooms once it was ready, stocked the refrigerator, recommended local restaurants, helping us learn how the lock system worked for the room, and they even went as far assisting with finding my missing ring (a separate story for another time). I want to give this place the full five stars, but there was one issue that I couldn't overlook. Whenever on the patio, there was a sulfuric odor that lingered in the area. At first, I thought it was natural gas or propane, but the grill was on the other side, and no odor was found in the area. I do not have any proof, but my guess is that the odor stemmed from the old water pipes connected to the outside pool shower. The same odor could be smelled once water ran through our personal shower drain. We did not feel we were at risk for our health, but the unpleasant scent was noticeable. This can be fixed by replacing the old water pipes with new ones. Considering the age of the property, I understand that it would probably take some time to implement, but I believe it would do the property some good. Overall, we were incredibly happy for the pleasant experience, and would highly recommend Sun Dek Beach House if you ever need a local stay-cation by the beach. A bit pricey, but considering the rates at other neighboring locations, and the limited time we had, this was a great destination.

We had looked online many many times but simply could not choose which room type we wanted as they were all so different. After deciding to just wing it and go see them in person, Cheryl and her staff (and our adorable little furry guard dog Lucy by her side!) could not have been more helpful in giving us a tour and showing us everything we wanted to see and more! We looked at the Bungalows, the little places across the street, the upstairs apartments and finally decided on the Guest House as we loved the big open space with high ceiling and stone floor. Fridge was stacked, coffee at the ready. It was just beautiful! The grounds were great, the pool was a little oasis in the middle of the beautiful gardens, everything designed differently but it all just works! Walking distance to shops and main area with restaurants, cinema etc... I would not hesitate in returning to stay either in the same room or one of the other amazing offerings, and would recommend to anyone. There really is something to suit everyone's needs and more. Thanks so much and apologies again for the tardy review!!!
