I would have given 10 stars if I could. Our three dogs were so calm and relaxed when we picked them up. Such a change from our former groomer. They were trimmed exactly as we expected. The business is neat and clean inside, not a storage building behind someone's house. This is a caring and professional pet grooming business with people who actually love animals. My Maltese and my Yorkshire terrier are groomed here and they provide wonderful grooming, baths and nail trim. We love our groomer! I cannot speak to the boarding services as I have never used them for that service. It's a really nice looking facility with an outdoor potty area and fenced run. I first met Jeri, the owner, when she came to my workplace, with a gift certificate. We talked the whole time of her appointment. And I was telling her about my fur baby girl.That I was looking for a new groomer for her. And she invited me to come to her shop so I made an appointment. And so we went. I stayed outside for about 10min. I just watched to see how the reaction was between them. And I new that we were in the right place after afew minutes because, Jeri and Janie stopped for just a few minutes and picked up my little one and started loveing on her that we had found the right place. I cant put into words how much I love this groomer! Everyone is alway so nice and I can tell they love my doggos! The dogs love going so I know they are treating them right! They always go above and beyond as far as the service and more! Today they were sent home with the sweetest bandanas on! Such sweet people and amazing work! read more

After the way they handled my aunts dog, Murphy (see review left) and the way they talked to her. I will no longer recommend this business to anyone. Changing my 5 star to 1. She waited three weeks because we were planning a FUNERAL for her father. The owner, Jeri, tore into my aunt and would not listen and not once expressed her condolences and offered a solution or resolution to the original issue. (Which was an uneven haircut). She didn't even want her money back, just the legs and head evened. Would have taken five minutes to complete. She never asked for a complete redo or money back. Also... Jeri, the owner, only reached out to apologize after a review was written. I usually groom Murphy since I am a groomer myself and because of my move I recommended this business due to my previous employment. Things have obviously changed in their customer service. And like I previously stated I will no longer recommend my clients here. Makes me wish I never moved. I pray my other clients I sent here don't experience the same encounter my aunt did. Will be contacting them all and recommending another groomer Below is my aunts review from google: 0 stars is what I would love to give. Couldn't get to my normal groomer due to time constraints so I chose this business to groom my Irish-doodle. The grooming took more than 5 hours and the cut was so uneven. I didn't call back right away due to family illness. When I did call to see if someone could just trim the top notch of my dog's coat I was berated because I waited so long. Even after explaining about the illness in my family and the passing of my dad no condolences were expressed and I was still being questioned about why I waited 3 weeks to ask for this terrible cut to be straightened out. WILL NOT USE THIS GROOMER AGAIN. So uncaring. read more

OK dog grooming but arrogant front desk. Charged me $15 extra because they didn't walk dog and he pooped and walked in it after grooming. Won't use again, not because of the extra charge or grooming but because of the attitude of employees. read more

Jerri has taken care of my amazing poodle from his first puppy cut to his last trim just to keep him comfortable. He loved to see Jerri, greeting her with a wagging tail and lots of kisses. I use the term taken care of intentionally as she has been more than a groomer. Her unique ability to modify his grooming to his physical status and mood at the time takes patience and understanding. She has truly been an important part of his life, grooming him, showing love, introducing him to play time with other dogs, sharing his momentous firsts and being there for his last. I am touched and grateful to have had her in his life. She is more than a groomer, she is a caring human being who truly loves the pets that she makes look so beautiful. read more

Their prices are comparable (cheaper in my case) to Petsmart. My Shih Tzu and Border Collie always look great and their cuts are even. I've taken them to a couple of cheap groomers and their cuts end up choppy. The dogs get to mingle with each other while they aren't being groomed. Staff is always friendly and the store doesn't smell like urine! That's impressive if you ask me. read more

I have to say I love Inn the Dog House, not surprised they won both "Best of the Best in Spartanburg" for Groomer and Daycare! I've been going there since their original location with my 3 dogs. We have taken our dog, Admiral Dewey, to Inn the Doghouse, to be groomed for several years now. The staff is very friendly and Dewey LOVES Janie, his groomer! They treat him so well that we say he is having a "spa day" when he goes! When we tell him where we are going, he gets all excited! Always pleased with his fur and nails! read more

I AM SO TERRIBLY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS GROOMER. My daughter drove home from college to take her dog to INN THE DOGHOUSE because we live in town and had a few friends that used them, and recommended them. The GROOMER told her it could possibly be about 4 hours, and would cost between. $35 - $45 for grooming, nails clipped and bath. After FOUR HOURS they called and said he was ready. When she got there, the lady was on her phone. Only then did she tell my daughter that Ollie wouldn't sit still so he only got a bath. She charged her $30.00, She didn't give him a bandana, didn't clip his nails, truly didn't do anything but bathe him. My daughter is in college and was paying for this out of her own pocket. I WOULD NOT recommend Inn the Doghouse. The groomer didn't even say the dog tried to bite or anything, she just said he was scared. I'm sure they all are scared. He's only a medium sized dog. I am so disappointed with INN THE DOGHOUSE. read more
