The first scar occurred when I was there for a facial that involved several stages over several minutes - the aesthetician was in and out of my room a number of times returning to other clients. When my facial was finished, paid for (not cheap) and I returned home, I checked my reflection in the mirror. There was a small blob of some type of gel on my cheek that I hadn't felt or noticed while driving home. After wiping this gel off I saw there was mark, then it bled. Eventually, it swelled and formed a blister, scabbed over. Thinking back, I suspect the aesthetician was doing a chemical peel on another client in between the stages of my facial, returned to my room with some potent gel on her sleeve or glove that came in contact with my freshly treated skin. The small blob of gel remained on my face for possibly 30 minutes before I noticed it since the facial I had produced stimulating sensation. My dermatologist said the scar appears to be a chemical burn because the skin texture is hard and white. Thank god it isn't any larger than it is. The second scar on my face is the size of a dime which that is from a laser being too intense in one area. My dermatologist said this scar is definately left from the laser is exactly the same size as the head of the laser attachment. This scar is pink, like a birthmark. When I discussed these issues with the owner of Aestheiq she said, "Well, that's what make up is for" and gave me a wink.

Update 12/01/25: 1 had an appointment with a medical tattooist, and she didn't want to touch it…read more She said, it's possible she could make it worse and it wouldn't be permanent. My dermatologist said, lasers, such as excimer, are not guaranteed, not permanent and require ongoing treatments indefinitely. Basically, it would be a life long commitment for a treatment that is not guaranteed. It would be very time consuming going three days a week for an unknown amount of time. Therefore, this is not a viable option. Third, I had a consultation with two plastic surgeons in Plymouth. Initially, they didn't want to touch it because the incisions would cause another problem. I would be swapping one cosmetic problem for another one. Since this was my last resort, the head surgeon agreed to do a little research and reach out to other plastic surgeons for their opinion. He said, the problem is pigment can't be restored, therefore, hypopigmentation can't be treated. I should have gone to him first. At this point, I'm waiting for the plastic surgeon to contact me with a possible solution, if any. Of course, this is the most expensive option with the surgeon's fee, anesthesiologist fee and surgical room fee. I'm looking at thousands of dollars However, if they can fix it, I would find a way to pay for it. Apparently, Stillwater Skin & Spa feel they are being unjustly targeted and reminded other businesses to remain vigilant. With that, if the plastic surgeon is able to fix it, l'll attach a copy of his diagnosis, surgical procedure, all fees and a photo of my face post surgery. Regardless, I will attach a copy of the diagnosis I received from each doctor I consulted with. As l've said more than once, one of those doctors is Stillwater Skin and Spa's medical director. They accused me multiple times of not meeting with them and their medical director. Note, their medical director has been my family physician for 20 years. This should put those accusations to rest. It's very important to me to provide the public updates so this doesn't happen to others. In my opinion, the laser services at Stillwater Skin & Spa should be shut down. The tech that worked on me needs more training before being allowed to perform laser hair removal services. This further proves I'm not out to unjustly target Stillwater Skin & Spa. Nobody should go to this business for laser hair removal. I have no opinion of their other services; laser hair removal was the only treatment I had there. Stillwater Skin & Spa also accused me of threatening to write a review if I wasn't given a refund. This is not true. First of all, they refunded me the portion of my package I did not use. However, they did not refund me for the treatment where I was scarred. The cost for that treatment was $300. I didn't threaten to write a review, I just did it,

I was going through a tough time and thought I would boost myself with Cool Tone. It is a machine that has a paddle, more or less, that is placed over the area you would like to tone. It gives an electric current (I think?) that supposedly works your muscles like you have had a workout of a lifetime. I asked, so I should be able to work out more easily, because it's stimulating my muscles, correct? I was told, yes, that should be the case. No. It didn't. It didn't really do anything at all. What's sooo disappointing is I fell for the sales pitch (done via video because of COVID.) I was offered the same "deal" everyone refers to in their reviews. So I'm out around $3000 and locked into this payment plan. Every month this bill comes up, I cringe. I am so mad at myself for falling for this. Bottom line: if you want to see results as far as fat reduction, etc., I think a tummy tuck or liposuction is really the only way to go. I've been researching this, and just wish I had beforehand. So go for the Botox, not the sculpting of any kind.

It started with a set of treatments and I quickly realized that there are plenty of loopholes in the contract, from the lack of flexibility in contract terms extension of the outcome is less than desired to the payment terms. As stated across multiple reviews the staff is constantly changing so that consistency of service is a joke. The service/reception staff is rude and inconsistent. There are multiple times when I have shown up for appointments and my appointment has been 'cancelled' as I wasn't informed they needed my credit card and disclosure agreement to be signed. Most recently the receptionist couldn't even locate my past contacts where I explicitly paid thousands to get work done. Go to other laser hair removal businesses...ideal image is a rip off. I am shocked they have been able to stay in business despite so many unsatisfied customers.

At my first…read moreappointment I wanted to use the entire syringe but was told she suggested to use conservatively and that it was good until September. January I made an appointment to use to remaining filler and after consulting with Corrine and verifying the expiration date decided to wait until Spring. I made an appointment in April and when I arrived the technician did not do injectables. I verified when the expiration was and was told again September. For all of these appointments I drive 20 minutes each way to not be serviced. On August 22 I made an appointment online for August 30th. This time I called to verify that the appointment time and provider was correct so that I could be serviced. After all this was the 3rd time I had tried to use the remaining half syringe. I received a call back stating it expired that previous Friday August 19th. I made several attempts to use the service I purchased within the time frame they provided me. Each time I asked I was told it expired September. So I ultimately paid over $600 for half a syringe of filler. I had communication via email with Corrine. I asked if I could please be in contact with Jocelyn. Corrine said she and Jocelyn would be calling me the following week during a specific day and certain timeframe. The reason I asked to speak to Jocelyn was because the first time I received injections at her Spa I had a bump/ bubble of filler protruding from lip from improper injecting. My next appointment she asked why I didn't call the office. I said I didn't want to be a pain and figured it would go away. She proceeded to tell me that she insisted I call if I ever have problems again. I made sure to make myself available during my workday and never received a call from Jocelyn or anybody. I ended up finding another medspa closer to home and was refreshing to find prices much much more affordable and a higher quality of care.
