I got a membership there and when i went in to get treatment, the nurse told me all that i could get done that day so going off of her recommendations I do what she suggest. I then decided that I wanted to change my membership to a better one and the manager, at the time, said she changed it. i called to get the extra services in the membership and was scheduled, then told I can't get it done because membership was never changed and that everything I was promised by the manager was not correct. I canceled my membership and they still charged me...They are rude and you are totally dismissed by the new management.....I would NOT USE this business, you would be wasting you money and promised services that they will not follow thru on. read more

I have been to Ideal Image for a few treatments and when I started I did not have an option for laser hair removal near my residence. The experience was worse than dismal. It started with a set of treatments and I quickly realized that there are plenty of loopholes in the contract, from the lack of flexibility in contract terms extension of the outcome is less than desired to the payment terms. As stated across multiple reviews the staff is constantly changing so that consistency of service is a joke. The service/reception staff is rude and inconsistent. There are multiple times when I have shown up for appointments and my appointment has been 'cancelled' as I wasn't informed they needed my credit card and disclosure agreement to be signed. Most recently the receptionist couldn't even locate my past contacts where I explicitly paid thousands to get work done. Go to other laser hair removal businesses...ideal image is a rip off. A year ago I started a hair removal contract for my chin and neck. I had been waiting and wanting this since before I was diagnosed with hirsutism in 1998 and finally went for it when there was a special on laser hair removal, with a lifetime guarantee and touch-ups. I was incredibly nervous when I arrived for my consultation, I was almost certain that there would be some reason I was not a candidate for the service, but I was quickly put at ease and comforted. Once I made the decision to do it, I was connected with a health care provider for a quick medical screening to ensure that it would be medically safe - and then I received my first treatment that day! The only thing I wish is that we'd gotten a true first picture because the difference after just that first treatment was very noticeable, but we didn't get the "before" picture until my second appointment, so the more recent 1-year follow-up picture does not capture as dramatic a change as it genuinely is. The staff are all very friendly, inviting, and the environment is soothing. The technicians have all been efficient, knowledgeable, and caring. I love the no-pressure atmosphere, they inform you of products, services, and specials but never push. I highly recommend having a consultation with them if you are interested in any of the types of services they offer, such as laser hair removal, cool-sculpting, botox or fillers, lip plumping or whatever it's actually called :), are what I know they offer off the top of my head. read more

My experience is that you had your sales people sell me my laser hair removal in 12/03/ 20. I was not able to even get an appointment until end of Jan. Of 21. I was told that ideal image would work with and honor my ten sessions. However I went to my last appointment in December and I asked how many sessions did I have left and I was told that my sessions end in June with my promotion and was told that corporate office decided that since they have made it 16 month since Covid they were no longer honoring that. I call that stealing and was told the intentions are never for us to get our full ten sessions. If a client can go in every six weeks it should not been a problem. It took eight weeks just to get my 1 st session and then you push your employees to schedule 9 weeks out with them always saying that is the soonest they can get you in. You are Kiera, thieves and swindlers. You scum as I was told that you had the sale's people call everyone that they made a sale to that you would not honor the ten sessions. I am in the process of putting you on blast on how you treat your clients and steal from us. I would give a zero. Think twice before going there as there are better places with great customer service and better prices. read more

Here's the bottom line. The staff is extraordinary. Very nice. The botox is worth the price, in my opinion. I was going through a tough time and thought I would boost myself with Cool Tone. It is a machine that has a paddle, more or less, that is placed over the area you would like to tone. It gives an electric current (I think?) that supposedly works your muscles like you have had a workout of a lifetime. I asked, so I should be able to work out more easily, because it's stimulating my muscles, correct? I was told, yes, that should be the case. No. It didn't. It didn't really do anything at all. What's sooo disappointing is I fell for the sales pitch (done via video because of COVID.) I was offered the same "deal" everyone refers to in their reviews. So I'm out around $3000 and locked into this payment plan. Every month this bill comes up, I cringe. I am so mad at myself for falling for this. Bottom line: if you want to see results as far as fat reduction, etc., I think a tummy tuck or liposuction is really the only way to go. I've been researching this, and just wish I had beforehand. So go for the Botox, not the sculpting of any kind. read more

My friend and I both had cool sculpting done and neither of us noticed a difference. Both of us exercise 4-5 days a week and eat relatively healthy. We are disappointed we wasted our money. I went here a few years ago for BBL facial. It was expensive, but it worked and I was happy with the results. Today I called to see if back then, I had them give me a quote for laser hair removal on my legs. Turns out they did, it was 4,800. I was shocked. I mean, I have been shopping around and knew the general cost. I actually have a quote from another salon in Edina for $2000. I told them this, and the woman on the phone hung up on me. It was so horribly rude. I politely said, "I have a quote for somewhere else that is about half the cost, so I will follow up with them." I thanked her for checking on this for me. She was nice, up until the end. Then awful. Avoid this place if you can. Their "sales" are bogus... 75% laser hair removal..... does nothing for me when the sale price was nearly 5 grand And the disgusting way they treat people, avoid this place like the plague! read more

They charge you for the most product they can and when they use less than that amount they refuse to refund you. So you can pay $3000 for 4 units of kyballa, have them inject $2250 and they don't feel they should have to refund the overage. Not to mention I had no results - none. 4 phone calls and on the 4th call Liz said I can have the unused $750 back if I come in for photos. Scam. 6 weeks and they still have my money. read more

This company does not tell the truth about their Botox. I took my sister and sister in law there. We all got Botox and all 3 of us saw no results. It's like they injected us with straight up water. All 3 of us had the same bad results. My sister in law also got expensive lip injections with the same poor results. Beware! Always remember what's in your contact. The staff have always been amazing. However, they truly try to scam you for your money I have always had a Lifetime fee of $50 each touchup but continually they try to charge me 65 and I have to do a run around with them every single time and revert back to my contract. When I finally get them to stop telling me everything about whatever they need to say to try to collect their $65 and I continually have to tell them no you need to contact somebody it is in my contract and every time I am right. I'm sick of having to go through this runaround. Every time I need a touchup I am not paying 65 when in my contract. It says 50. I truly believe this corporation just wants to scam people out of their money like they're not gonna remember what's in their contract and I feel bad for the ones that don't remember their contract and they get played for an extra $15 or more. Revising my earlier review after the manager, Jen, reached out to me right away to fix the situation. She was much more helpful than the person I spoke to previously and was able to fix the situation (explained in my original review below). Overall happy with the prompt customer service, and that Ideal Image honored my contract payments in the end. The staff have always been nice and helpful otherwise and besides the contract situation I've been satisfied with the service. Big thanks to Jen for making the situation right. -------- I had the same experience at Patsy C, and at first I thought it was just me who had been mislead to about the terms of the contract but it turns out it's not just me! Ideal Image told me specifically that I would get 9 sessions included in my contract and assured me that I could get them at ANY time and that there was no time limit. I made SURE of this since I live out of state, and could not be limited to a certain time window since I am only in the area every so often. I got through half my sessions, when they informed me that the contract "expired" (something they never told me about upfront even though I made sure to ask, nor did they give me any indication that it was about to expire) and that I would have to pay for each for the rest of my sessions after paying over $2000. I paid off my entire contract In full for the 9 sessions (zero late payments) and now they are refusing to give me the rest of my sessions. read more

They will not stop harrasing you once they have your information. I have asked Kristin Richardson multiple times very polietly to remove my address from her emails and the company's emails. I found lazer hair removal somewhere else at a wonderful location in Mendota. No harrassement, no gimmicks, friendly staff, the price is cheap, Ive never gotten an email or mailing from them begging for customers, and I am seeing results on my armpits, bikini line, and legs imediately! (Which I was skeptable about, being a natural blonde.) Save yourself some piece of mind and your spam folder. Do not contact Ideal Image where they make asking for approx costs so damn difficult (really, just give an estimate on the first ask, do you not have a client base to figure out an average from? annoying). The place I went to told me the approx costs up front like the professionals they are, and they were spot on. No inperson sucker you into the clinic "consultation" needed to get an estimate. They didnt need my contact info either, because who needs contact info just to give an estimate. Just companies who need an excuses to get your info to harrass you. Ok, enough. I'm off my soapbox. I have received laser hair removal for my underarms, peri, and legs and have seen great results in only 3 treatments, my package is for 9 so I am excited to see the final results! I went in for a consultation and was given the price $11,XXX.XX for underarm and a full bikini for 9 treatments. $3,XXX for coolsculpting. The lady there gave me a "discount" of 50% off which came down to $5,1XX.XX. With this being my first time, I agreed to follow through with it. That same day, I went home and thought about, decided not to follow through with coolsculpting which took two months to refund. I had a financial change and decided that I can hold off on the LHR. I emailed the lady back and she kept saying that she can work with me. Gave me three different new prices/"discounts." The last price which was the "lowest" was $2,XXX for 9 treatments for both areas. I told her that it would be too much for me and that it would be best to not follow through at all. Gave myself two days to sit on it and emailed her back on Friday 12/04 that I no longer want anything at all. Today, 12/10, I received a call that I must sign a piece of paper for the LHR refund. The refund amount is $4, XXX which means that I'll be charged $1,3XX.XX for the ONE treatment. That's literally half of the $2,XXX that was supposedly the "lowest" amount. So really, if I follow through with the $2K, I would received 9 treatments but just the one treatment is $1K+. This is super ridiculous. I contacted several laser hair removal places, some of the most popular places in MN for prices and was given $72/73 for both armpits for one session and $149-$200 for full bikini. With that, it would have cost me $221-300 for one treatment. Had I know this to begin with, I would have never contacted Ideal Image. When they brag about 50% off, the services are really not at all. They up the prices and then halfed them to it's regular amount if not more. And they never take NO for an answer which is absolutely annoying. So if you asked, Do I recommend Ideal Image? NO! DO NOT GO THERE! Save your monies and go somewhere else. This place will dupe you out of your money and will charge you far more than any other places. I'm so disappointed, I don't even know how they still make money with their overpriced services. read more

Love everything about Ideal Image! Great results and awesome experience each visit. I'm about halfway through my upper lip treatment, and already see a huge decrease in amount of hair that comes back after my treatment. For someone with dark, thick hair, who has had to get it waxed every other week since I was 16, this is AMAZING! I just purchased the chin and underarm as well, and can't wait to get a couple treatments in. Not only are the results great, I love all of the ladies who work here. Everyone is so friendly, and truly try to build a personal relationship with you. I was sitting in the waiting room on only my fourth visit, and multiple specialists who came in and out were greeting me by name like I had been coming for years. They always work hard to get you the best deal possible, I've purchased three different areas now and have yet to pay full price for any of them. Financing program is great - and INTEREST FREE if you pay it off in 12, 18, or 24 months (depending on the price). Where else can you find that?! Plus I was pleasantly surprised with a bag of free products when you buy an area. And I mean 5-6 different FULL SIZED products, not just little samples! Completed an entire long-term treatment plan about 10 years ago and spent thousands of dollars, which qualified me for a lifetime membership. I was supposed to get very specific pricing for any touch up visit there after for life. After no touch up appts for a few years, I stopped in today for an appointment and I asked very specific questions about how much I would be charged and I was quoted a specific price. I waited over an hour for my appointment and filled out a bunch of paperwork, and when it was finally time for my appointment and led to the treatment room, I was told they were going to charge me over triple the amount that I was originally quoted. After a lot of back-and-forth they then told me they're going to charge me over double what I was originally quoted. I told him that was not what I was quoted and told them and they should honor what they told me for this visit, but they would not budge or honor their original price. I asked to speak to a manager or somebody else to solve the situation, but there was nobody for me to talk to you about the situation. I was told incorrect information and I wasted over an hour of my time and they would not do the right thing and honor what I was told. I will never come back here and I do not recommend them to anybody. read more

I signed a contract with this place over a year ago, put money down and have been paying $195 a month since, for the hair removal procedure. When I signed up they said, even after treatments covered in the contract, if you still have hair you can come back to get it treated no extra charge but at my last appointment they were talking about extending contract for me to pay more. Then I asked them not to withdraw last month but I would resume in January on payments I only have $500 left to pay them. They then refused to treat me until the one missed payment is paid and I'm already behind now on treatments so after seeing how unprofessional they were on the phone I was like I'll just stop the whole thing then since they want to be petty with a customer who paid quite a bit and never missed a payment the whole time until recently when necessary, the front desk girl got cocky and said pretty sure you can't do that in a contract so I called my bank and stopped all future withdrawals. They have allowed me to miss treatments and tried to warp me into another contract for a treatment that should have gave me better results with the money Ive paid. Horrible management. read more

What really infuriated me was they refuse to give a price without having your drivers license to put into their system. Talk about identity theft risks and why does anyone have the right to your drivers license to answer a simple question, how much does it cost for one session? I had cool sculpting done here and it was not a good experience. I was recommended to have 2 treatments, which I paid for in advance. My first treatment I had success, my second, completey ruined my stomach. The nurse acknowledged it and went back to her manager because she had never seen results like that and the manager called me to try and make things right, I went back for a third time for them to correct the second treatment and I now need surgery to correct what they have done to me. Please don't let them do this to you. They have called me one time to fix it and have never offered to refund me, so I paid for them to make me look worse. read more

This is a warning! I was pleased to find that the bill for my bikini laser was interest free. I paid much more than the minimum payment due each month and was due to make my last payment this month. Ironically, I thought about paying it off much earlier but thought that was impractical due to the interest "free" nature. Today, I got a bill with an additional charge of $450.40. My balance today was $148.00 before the new charge. When I called, I was told that this was the interest that was accruing for the past 17 months (unbeknownst to me). The rep called my attention the page 3 of the bill and in fine print, I saw that the interest free went away as of this month and they added 450 to the original price of $1723.00. I call this a scam. I came in for a consultation a while back and signed up a couple weeks later. At first I thought I was making a mistake because it was a pretty penny, but I'm so happy I decided to move forward and for once do something for myself. Its not even about not having to shave anymore, for me I had extremely bad razor burn and ingrown hair which made my life hard. I went to Ideal Image for laser hair removal since it is advertized on the radio all the time and because they had a buy one get 1 free deal during the winter holiday. I see Heather everytime when I go in for my treatments. She is very good at her job, she remembers me specifically, She is friendly, and She is very knowledgeable in what she does. If any one is curious, the laser isn't all that bad it's true that it feels like rubber bands snapping at you, it may hurt during the treatment but after there is no pain. There is also numbing cream if you prefer one. Hope you experience will be as good as mine! read more

I discourage ANYONE from going to Ideal Image. Their prices are ridiculous and they are VERY DECEPTIVE in their selling tactics. If you sign a contract and need to end it for any reason, even if you have a physical reaction to the treatment, you will pay 20%+ of the total contract price for one treatment! During your consultation they tell you that you can end your contract for any reason and you are only responsible for the treatments received, but what they don't tell you, and what is written in fine print in the several pages of the contract you're signing, is that they front load your payments. I went in for a consultation, ended up signing a contract for treatments totaling over $10,000, and had my first treatment the very same day. I had a severe reaction and was not comfortable continuing treatments. I opted to cancel my contract after that first treatment, but Ideal Image made this process exceedingly difficult. First I had to prove that I had a severe rash. Then I was told that one treatment would cost me over $2,000! I went on to try laser hair removal elsewhere about a year after this horrible experience. I didn't get a rash and I paid a fraction of the cost of my ONE treatment at Ideal, for under arm, bikini, and leg. I don't know how this place stays in business!!! read more

This place has forever lost the opportunity for my business. What first gave me a red flag was the obnoxious number of times they called to confirm my appointment. After the second voicemail I received, I returned the call and confirmed I would be there. After that, they called and texted my phone at least three more times. Ridiculously, this is all within less than a week. When I got there I was on time and the receptionist was nice- a little overly nice and slightly creepy- but nice. However, the nurse or consultant or whatever her job title, brought me into a room and rushed through this scripted, arrogant introduction about Ideal Image, and didn't ask me if I had any questions (which, mind you, I did. I had tons of questions!), and none of it had anything to do with the actual procedure, the cost, or any of the information I cared to know. It was essentially just a front line sales pitch, as if she was handing out flyers at the fair. It definitely didn't feel like I was in a medical professional's environment. The nurse didn't give a crap about me or my questions. When she printed out this slip of paper showing the $1,000 price tag, she shoved another document towards me and asked me to sign it without even briefly telling me what it says. She didn't even offer me a moment to read it! I didn't sign, of course, and when she asked for my driver's license and credit card, I said I wasn't ready to sign anything just yet. In my mind, I was actually saying, "Hold your horses, lady!" At that moment, her whole demeanor suddenly shifted to cold and rude, and she had the most confused look on her face. She asked me with a curled lip and a snarky tone, "What, is this not in your budget or something?" I said, "No, I would just like some time to think it over. I was told when I scheduled my appointment that there would be no pressure; it was 'just a consultation' and if I wasn't ready I could take more time to think about it." Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think most people tend to make $1,000 impulse decisions. She didn't say anything along the lines of, "That's okay!" or, "I understand." It was just, "I'll walk you out." Flat, cold, and frankly hostile. After that experience, I have absolutely no problem plucking my own hair. read more
