Betty Lou Robinson is my girl! If you want a private, cozy and peaceful pampering this is the place to go! Betty is a pro at getting skin balanced, acne-free and more youthful looking. I have been there a few times and I always leave with glowing skin! My usual treatment is a facial with microdermabrasion and light-therapy. I went to her with some zit problems and after her treatments and purchasing some products (Glymed) my skin is CLEAR! Plus a bonus to these services is less wrinkles! She is also knowledgeable with aging/sun-damaged skin. The location is nice too. It is right off Highway 36 before downtown Stillwater and it has its OWN parking lot. SkinPros is a sanctuary for me to get away to when I'm in need of a facial. The atmosphere is tranquil, and the treatments are wonderful! Bettylou is super friendly and extremely knowledgeable. She listens to you and helps you address and resolve any skin issues you might be having (mine are some acne congestion, and uneven skin texture and tone--which Bettylou improved the condition of dramatically with mircodermabrasion and light therapy). I went to Bettylou seeking some help with my skin before my wedding. While I don't have acne, I has some scarring and discoloration from sun exposure and ingrown hairs. Bettylou put me through a series of treatments including microdermabrasion, peels, LED light therapy and other stuff (my eyes were closed because the whole experience is so relaxing)!!! ANyways, after 6 visits, my skin is COMPLETELY different. It is clear, right and soft. My makeup goes on better, by eyes look bigger, my scars/discoloration have faded to almost nothing and I feel great. The experience is just amazing. The room is calm, quiet and peaceful and Bettylou is a hoot. She'll talk if you want to talk, or just go about her business and let you relax if that's what you need. I started going to BettyLou at Skin Pros over a year ago with severe acne and scarring and she has without a doubt changed my skin! I cannot recommend Skin Pros highly enough- I have been to many places and tried just about everything for treatment, including multiple dermatologists and nothing has made my skin clear up quite like BettyLou has... I think its safe to say she is a miracle worker! :) She knows all of the latest treatments and has truly the best products available(which she also sells-thank goodness!) I usually get a facial with microdermabrasion, light-therapy, sometimes a chemical peel, and she has really great masks and cleansers with hot towels to treat your face. She is an absolute "Skin Pro" and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. Update 12/01/25: 1 had an appointment with a medical tattooist, and she didn't want to touch it…read more She said, it's possible she could make it worse and it wouldn't be permanent. My dermatologist said, lasers, such as excimer, are not guaranteed, not permanent and require ongoing treatments indefinitely. Basically, it would be a life long commitment for a treatment that is not guaranteed. It would be very time consuming going three days a week for an unknown amount of time. Therefore, this is not a viable option. Third, I had a consultation with two plastic surgeons in Plymouth. Initially, they didn't want to touch it because the incisions would cause another problem. I would be swapping one cosmetic problem for another one. Since this was my last resort, the head surgeon agreed to do a little research and reach out to other plastic surgeons for their opinion. He said, the problem is pigment can't be restored, therefore, hypopigmentation can't be treated. I should have gone to him first. At this point, I'm waiting for the plastic surgeon to contact me with a possible solution, if any. Of course, this is the most expensive option with the surgeon's fee, anesthesiologist fee and surgical room fee. I'm looking at thousands of dollars However, if they can fix it, I would find a way to pay for it. Apparently, Stillwater Skin & Spa feel they are being unjustly targeted and reminded other businesses to remain vigilant. With that, if the plastic surgeon is able to fix it, l'll attach a copy of his diagnosis, surgical procedure, all fees and a photo of my face post surgery. Regardless, I will attach a copy of the diagnosis I received from each doctor I consulted with. As l've said more than once, one of those doctors is Stillwater Skin and Spa's medical director. They accused me multiple times of not meeting with them and their medical director. Note, their medical director has been my family physician for 20 years. This should put those accusations to rest. It's very important to me to provide the public updates so this doesn't happen to others. In my opinion, the laser services at Stillwater Skin & Spa should be shut down. The tech that worked on me needs more training before being allowed to perform laser hair removal services. This further proves I'm not out to unjustly target Stillwater Skin & Spa. Nobody should go to this business for laser hair removal. I have no opinion of their other services; laser hair removal was the only treatment I had there. Stillwater Skin & Spa also accused me of threatening to write a review if I wasn't given a refund. This is not true. First of all, they refunded me the portion of my package I did not use. However, they did not refund me for the treatment where I was scarred. The cost for that treatment was $300. I didn't threaten to write a review, I just did it,

Even tho they have online booking, I found it easier to call for booking multiple appointments. They were very accommodating. They remodeled their space a while back, and it is gorgeous inside! Their pedi chairs are new and include arm compression, which is lovely. They also have a head spa I want to try... We all had the signature pedicure, which is a step up from their regular pedi and includes hot stone massage, masks, hot towels and a lot of massage thruout the entire process. It's $80 with Gel polish and worth every penny. My teen also got a fill, which we've found varies in price depending on perhaps the level of experience? Not sure if that's accurate, but thats what we're guessing. My teen always has some design inspo picked out, and the nail techs always seem to nail it. Anyway, my main reason for writing this review is because I had an ingrown toenail that's caused me problems for weeks, and it hurt too much for me to try and remove on my own, so I made sure to mention this to the nail tech, Amy. She removed it with hardly any pain. I'm super impressed. If anyone's had a hangnail before, you know it can be pretty painful to remove them.
