Did not seem right and that is very different from every time I have ever had my bp read. I ended up having to speak to the practitioner over the phone as they asked questions because they were hesitant to prescribe anything which I can understand due to that high reading. Needless to say, I was completely freaked out after my visit and went to my normal doctor. He checked my bp and it was normal. A referral was sent and approved for dermatology, however it had wrong information on it and the dermatology office had been trying to get in contact with them for 2 weeks with no response! On the day of my dermatology appointment I was informed that I would have to pay cash for the appointment unless there was a corrected referral (now mind you I've had severe all over body itching for going on two years so every delay is horrible for me!), I call "doctor" Sein's office and the staff told me they already sent the corrected referral (ABSOLUTE LIE!) as I had just gotten off the phone with the dermatology office. I didn't find out until over two months later that "doctor" Sein told my insurance that I had diabetes. I have NEVER in my life been diagnosed with diabetes! I wrote an email telling of her incompetence and that her staff were liars and that I was not going back there. "Doctor" Sein sent me a letter that she will no longer be my PCP and that I was unprofessional. VERY laughable as I had long since gone to a new PCP and I wouldn't go back to her if my very life depended upon it! Her calling me unprofessional HA! as a doctor she should know how to diagnose diabetes. I made lots of excuses as to why I shouldn't or "couldn't" go. As my 40th birthday approached a year later I decided to do it again. This time losing a little over 17lbs and I had a shift in my headspace. I was ready for the commitment to myself and I signed up for another 6 months at the gym. I had to find what worked for me. The first challenge I was going to the gym after work which was horrible. It's hot, i'm already tired.. So this time around I switched to mornings! Class started at 5:45am (5:00am now!!) I get my workout done and I am a happy camper. The workouts are great! They really push you but there are modifications given if you need them. Also, time flies in the gym. These workouts are fast paced and get your heart racing. It's a good combo of cardio and weights. The coaches are great, Ale' , Felicia, Gaby and Ashley- they have formed a great supportive community where I am making new friendships and feel like I belong. Upon arrival I completed a paper questionnaire since I failed to do it online. No big deal. While waiting for him to get setup, 3 other ladies arrived after me and used the sign in sheet on the clipboard. It was my turn an I stepped on the scale. Dr, Wieland shared with me the different medication options. So expect that your first time visit you will walk out with meds of choice and pay on the spot! I paid $300 for vitamin B injection and glp1 iinjectiij plus supply. He explained to me how to give myself the injection and made sure I was able self administer so he's confident I can do this at home for the next 3 weeks. You have to sign a contract stating you will not give away or resell the meds. Additionally I agreed to stay within my target 1200 calories a day. I'm trying but it is difficult some days. I will say that most of the food noise is gone. My kids would eat McDonald's in the car and I had no desire to eat any of it. I also couldn't enjoy a sushi dinner and was full after 5 pieces of sashimi and 2 pieces of nigiri (with rice) My only side effect was fatigue for first dose since I happened to get my menstrual cycle same time. Slight nausea but nothing like morning socks. I don't have much heartburn. I try to drink a lot of water and get 70 grams or more of protein daily. And I noticed that when I work out I feel the effects even less. I do get dry mouth, so again, I drink as much water as possible.
