My girlfriend and I were looking for a photographer for our family pictures. Asking friends, Orlando came highly recommended. I messaged Orlando, and he was very quick in responding back. We set up a time and date and Orlando asked if we had any idea of a location to take the photos. I was unsure and he suggested Lands End in San Francisco. When we arrived, it was overcast and a little foggy but Orlando reassured us that it was the perfect environment to get great shots. We then headed to the Cypress Tress where he got some candid shots of my girlfriend and I along with our son. We did our poses for the actual pictures then did an outfit change. We walked down towards a little cave close to the edge of the area and took more candid's and more photos. All in all, it was a pleasure working with Orlando. Had the opportunity to work with Orlando this past Sunday. Let me first say, this will be a 2 part review. I felt it important to at least get the initial one out there before my schedule causes me to forget. Orlando is everything every single one of the previous reviews says he is. A true professional, and an individual that understands customer service. I think Orlando can be comfortable with any personality and he has the cool, calm, patient demeanor to handle any situation. I spent countless hours looking for someone I felt experienced enough but not burned out, to handle the list of photographs I wanted done, exhausting my entire social media contact list and all referrals. Multiple bad experiences over the years have made me reluctant to hire a photographer to do what (I felt) my Samsung, some filters, and Walgeen's could do with far less expense and a greater potential for satisfaction in the end result. From his choice of a very convenient outdoor location, down to the poses and configurations, he took in to consideration the list of shots I wanted and ran with it, adding his own flair and experience to mix. We had to deal with a very crowded public shooting location, several "deposits" from the local wildlife, and some of the wildlife wanting to be a part of the shoot. Through all of that, he remained efficient and on task, working with the ever changing conditions. I'm not easily impressed as I am a D.I.Y. type person and in most situations, I end up feeling like I could have done a better job myself. That was not the case with Orlando. He made me feel at ease and gave me the rare feeling of value for the money spent. Thank you Orlando. You have earned a customer for life.
