These guys are super pros. We're so happy that we invested in them redoing our stairs and the street-level wall rather than trying for a patch job. The price was totally reasonable for the scope of the work which took several phases: demo, prep and then the building of the new steps and wall. Each team was clean and courteous. There were pauses between phases while cement was curing etc but we were in no hurry. The number of days when we couldn't use our front steps were actually very few, like maybe 6 or 7 days all told, and we had the door under the stoop as a backup. They always answered texts promptly and neatly organized and stored their material in our yard. They also did the landmark paperwork, thank goodness. And we had zero complaints from neighbors, which meant a lot. It ended up being a summer-long project but again, we did not push for them to hurry, and it was 100 percent worth the wait. read more

We based our decision on Ekram's creative suggestions for our project, our ease of communication, his responsiveness to texts and the fact that they specialize in restoration. Innovation Construction resurfaced my entire Brownstone including Stoops and both going up to house and down to office area. Both stoops are now showing Spider Cracks as is the lower part of the building. I have had consultant Architects. All said this is very dangerous for the facade. This was sent to Innovation owner Ekramul Silas as well as many photos of these cracks. He kept promising to come, gave many excuses and never re did the work. The consultants found fault with the work and probable faulty cement mix. He does not take responsibility for his or his workers errors. I strongly advise NOT TO USE INNOVATION CONSTRUCTION. Innovation did a Brownstone front renovation for us, including bluestone. They were the least expensive of bids and the building chose to go with them based on how much higher, and out of our budget, the others were. We wish we hadn't. Some parts of the job were done decently. But others were not. They used cheap bluestone that in some places developed major rust discoloration that can only be fixed by replacing. For the brownstoning and cement work I found I had to constantly take off from work to watch over and keep it from looking unprofessional. When they were done it looked like a rushed schoolyard fix and I had to have them come back several times to redo things that looked terrible. A few things were totally screwed up and had to be salvaged by another contractor. Communication with them was always good, never no-showed and always cleaned up well. I liked them while the job was going on. It was a learning experience for us. It was a low cost- mediocre quality job that might have worked out fine for another situation but in our case we should have either bit the bullet and spent three times as much or not done it. read more

I contacted this company on Yelp. I spoke to one of the owner, Ekram over the phone and he agreed to come see the work. He came and took pictures of the work that needed to be done. He said he will send me an estimate in 3-4 business days. It's has been 4 weeks since then and I still waiting for the estimate. I contacted him several times through Yelp and he promised to send the estimate at least three times but I still waiting. I guess Ekram doesn't want my business.
