Hunter McLaughlin did not complete my bathroom remodel, and was months beyond his original…read morecompletion estimation. I had to pay for 4 of the items that were stated in the original bid to get the job completed, and correct mistakes made by his sub contractors. He basically underbid the job and even though I clarified and confirmed all line items on the bid, he asked for additional payment for change orders, when no changes were made to my original bid. He did very little of the work himself and rarely came to check on his subcontractors work. There were always promises made on when they would be here to work, and a multitude of excuses as to why they were delayed or did not show up. I got a call from one of the subcontractors after the job was completed to ask if I had paid Hunter yet as Hunter told him I had not paid, which was completely a lie. Hunter should not be licensed as a general contractor and not be a construction business owner as he does not know how to bid, schedule, or manage a job.
