I chose him for his Chamber of Commerce membership, strong Google reviews, and because he offered the earliest start date (May 11, 2026) of the three contractors I was considering -- despite being the most expensive. The project felt rushed from the start. For seven straight days, only one employee did the actual work; the contractor himself showed up only on the last day, to clean up. That evening, around 8 p.m. and after dark, I was pressured to pay the remaining ~$5,000 balance (total cost ~$10,000) before I had a real chance to inspect the work. Trusting it had been done properly, I paid. Afterward, I found numerous workmanship defects -- I've documented over 100 photos, a sample of which are below. I didn't feel treated with the professionalism I'd expect, and I'd encourage anyone reading the glowing reviews here to weigh them against this account. I've already filed a small claims case; the court's certified mail to the contractor's listed address was returned undelivered, but I intend to pursue this through other means. Please review the photos and do your own due diligence -- get everything in writing before paying.

We had a horrible experience with this company. We hired George and his team for a strictly…read moreinterior job on our turn of the century townhouse located in Summit: 2 bedrooms, built in 1905. The overall job took four months to complete - and this was no complicated venture. It involved all of the rooms the same color, with trim - nothing fancy. This is also after we struck a much needed sunporch touch up from the job simply because we just wanted them out of our house by the end of the harrowing process. The biggest issue has been the bathroom. They painted and claimed it finished THREE times, and still - four days after each time - the paint began to chip and fall off the walls. They claimed (after the fact, not before) that it was due to the walls being plaster and that we would have to REPLACE THE WALLS. Which, as a homeowner, I'm sure you can imagine sounds ridiculous. You would think that with "30 years experience" in a town like Summit, laden with historic homes, this company would have cracked the code to painting a 10 square foot bathroom with plaster walls. After a week of the final job being deemed "finished" our bathroom is currently peeling again - so it seems not. We are going to have to hire another company. On top of doing a terrible job, they were inconsistent with timing - we never knew when they were going to arrive and sometimes were at our house late in the morning and well into when we were coming home from work which was a major inconvenience. They left paint dust debris all over our house along with giant primer stains all over our yard. Do not use this company - they were a waste of money after four months of "work" and the job still did not get completed. They displayed deplorable workmanship and we fully regret letting them have the job after interviewing several other companies for the job.
