I made a call he answered right away( super great start) within 5 minutes on the call I knew Jason was a professional , smart and knew his business. He answered my questions and gave me advise. Jason sent me an application while I was on the phone.... so great. Once finished filling out application Jason sent us E Docs to sign online so easy. Didn't have to come into the office or, take a pic or upload pics to send back etc etc again couldn't believe how easy. Mortgage offer came back... great rate, great terms and cash to pay off debits. Just what I asked for. Jason and his assistant Ramzie were amazing, from start to close. They answered any call I gave them right away, no answering machines WOW, are you kidding me. It really was hassle free in this day and age. Day came for the mortgage to transfer. We got to choose what bank we wanted to meet at... easy breezy and the Mortgage Specialist from Bank of Novia Scotia was on time ,friendly, and fast. We even didn't have to pay legal fees from a law firm for closing costs. Everything was included, as an added bonus we were reimbursed our money back from the home appraisal we paid for at the beginning and asked if we needed a line of credit, such a wonderful great experience! She was very unprofessional, even calling me "bitchy" and referring to some of the houses we were quite interested in as "stupid". We found our dream home and purchased it - again with me doing all of the leg work. Left me wondering why we bothered with her. It was a very stressful experience overall. When we went to pick up the keys for our new house she informed us that there were no keys and gave us a pin pad number to get in. Then she went on vacation (yep, that same day!) and we never heard from her again. She never even checked in to see how we were enjoying our new home, let alone sent us a card or anything. Very unprofessional and lazy. For the amount of money your real estate agent will be making off of you - GO ELSEWHERE!!! Especially if you are a first time buyer!!
