This place has turned into a urgent care for individuals with colds back aches etc. referred to ER 12/22/2025. Arrived 1510. Checked in w billing 1530 1545. Vitals taken. Told to wait. lol. I was sent here because surgeon believe I have a blood clot. After having surgery 5 days prior. Leg is swollen to the point looking like Popeye's forearm. 2 hours later. Still waiting. Now. 1720. No organization. No color tagging white to blk based on alignment. 1725. They just took a patient for a chest xray that came in 30 min after me. Sorry I have to laugh. He is hacking going a chest X-ray. Unfortunately. Now it's BS I have to click 1 star - negative numbers for service prioritizing. DOES NOT EXIST HERE. 1730. Still nothing. I went to the ER yesterday because I was in massive pain. I am a cancer patient. the er receptionist was partially incompetent, but the crappiness ended there. Everyone in the actual er was extremely professional and pleasant. They were very caring about my pain level. They listened and were super helpful. Particularly, Nurse Mallory and PA Kent. Really nice medical staff with lots of caring about my pain and comfort. I dislike going to the ER immensely but it really helps when there are people like Kent and Mallory. I have been to a lot of emergency rooms and this is by far the best ever. In and out in under an hour. The lady at the front was so friendly and personable. The waiting area was clean and comfortable (although I only was in there for like 5 minutes). The rooms were clean (and actually smelled clean). I adored the nurse, Meagan, and Dr. Visintainer. Both saw me immediately. They both had a sense of humor, took their time, and were kind. I left feeling better with the medication I needed and with an appointment with a specialist the next day. Annnnd discharge was painless. Do not listen to the negative reviews. This place is top notch! read more

I came in dehydrated and told them up front I needed IV fluids. They checked me in and put me in a room, triage, and then told me they didn't have any IV fluids, but only after they took my insurance information of course. read more

So this a great emergency room for relatively minor instances like needing stitches or for diagnosing the flu when you can't find an open urgent care... but for everything else, if you can make, just go to Landsdowne Hospital instead. This emergency room is minimally equipped. They have to send out for a radiologist (if you need ultrasound or X-rays). More than likely if you are suffering a true emergency, they are going to call for an ambulance and have you transferred to Landsdowne anyways. The staff is very friendly and do their best to give you the care you need. They get you back rather fast but on the weekends I don't think they have more than one or two actual MDs working and only a handful of nurses and techs. Honestly I would use this facility for myself if I couldn't get to an urgent care but for everything else, I'd either call 911 or go to Landsdowne, especially if it had anything to do with my baby or pregnancy. The best way to describe this facility is a glorified after hours urgent care, not a true emergency care that can handle anything and everything. read more

Went for stitches took over and hour to get there. The staff clearly doesn't know how to do their jobs but sure know how to socialize. When it comes to mask what's the point of making everyone wear one when the staff doesn't know how to wear theirs. Desk lady is a bitch too takes some offense to dumb shit makes you leave while you're waiting for someone even tho the whole lobby is empty. You could show up to this place impaled by a spear and I bet I could save your life before these morons manage to take you in for consideration. I took my 84-year old mom to an Inova Urgent Care due to chest pains. They conducted an EEG and because there was some changes from her last EEG, they sent us to Inova Emergency. They took blood tests and an X-ray and we waited (in the emergency room) and waited and waited.... Finally we decided that we'd leave and go to her doctor for the results so that my mom could rest and so that it would free up time for someone who made need more immediate care. The staff did not like this idea. They were rude and one woman yelled at my mom to move away from a large window in the entryway of the hospital to preserve a patient's privacy. YELLED. How would my mom know? She thought she was waiting "in line" to get the IV connector from her arm. Nevertheless, it added insult to injury. As we were walking to the car, a woman pulled up next to us, rolled down her window and stated that she left the emergency room because of the way they treated my mom. She was very upset about the lack of elderly respect and care. read more

PUNCTURED MY EAR DRUM. Iwent to this urgent care for a little problem. I had a small piece of my fake pinky nail polish in my ear and needed it to be taken out. I wasn't in any pain at all and had it in there for about 24 hours without it causing me discomfort or pain. I went to this urgent care and supposed "doctor" Aisha ahmad, proceeded to puncture my ear drum while trying to get the polish out, then proceeded to tell me it was my fault. I wish I could sue this woman, she made my very small problem a HUGE problem. NEVER COME HERE FOR ANYTHING!!! read more

I recently went to the emergency room at Inova HealthPlex (in July 2023) and I would absolutely rate this place zero stars if I could. The level of care here is always sub-par, but I only went here again because it is the closest to home. This last visit will be my last. I was experiencing severe back pain and the doctor ordered a CT scan. I was horrified upon entering the radiology department and saw that the table to lie on had a very thin piece of cushioning on it, which made the experience worse. The test did not take too long but it felt like an eternity because I was essentially lying on a table. I left with my back hurting far worse than it did when I arrived. Also noteworthy was the fact that the blanket I was given had some insects on it. This is disgusting and unacceptable, especially in a healthcare facility. Like I said I won't go here again and I urge you to think twice about going here if you have other options. read more

I got hit by a $1200 for a unecesary transportation from that ER to the loudoun hospital to be discharge less that 2 hours later. I could have driven there! This is the way how these hospitals pray on patients. They knew I was fine and they came with these last minute move. For the transportation I could have practically walked into the ambulance, I was not having any issues. These service cost more than a flight to Europe. They were 2 guys just riding an ambulance. I could have taken an UBER. I told the ER I did not want to get hit by third party bill and they did it! Never go alone to hospitals. Somebody need to control these people. read more

Worst ER experience I have EVER had! After a blood and urine test I was told I was healthy and my intense bouts of kidney area pain, frequent urination, and nausea from the days leading up to my visit were all just maybe a muscle strain?? They quite literally yanked my IV out of my arm and sent me packing refusing to test or explore anything else that could be the cause. I frantically tried to reason that my symptoms were certainly not "normal" for me to try to urge them to look into anything else and they did not care at all. My symptoms had me particularly concerned since I leave in a day for a work trip where I won't have access to my local providers or pharmacy if this awfulness amps back up...or even worse doesn't clear prior. They offered no helpful information or things to look out for. Just - You're healthy - Take some ibuprofen if you feel bad again. When I tried to ask my own questions to try to sort out my symptoms I was shut down. I have never experienced such HORRENDOUS rushed care from a doctor. Dr. H - Please listen to sane adult patients when they tell you that their symptoms are real. Work on your bedside manner! Show a little more compassion when someone clearly rattled by what they are experiencing is seeking out your help. This ER was quite literally empty with no wait to be seen - there was NO rush to be seen to free up beds. If you find yourself here & Dr. H is on duty - save your time and the IV poke and Run for the hills!!! read more

Had to visit the ER due to an accident that my daughter had which required stitches. The staff was friendly and attentive. There was no wait as a nurse attended to my daughter immediately following the check in. The nurse was really nice and caring to my daughter and the doctor was equity as nice and caring. They took the time to answer all of my questions. I would reckoned this place to anyone needing emergency care. read more

I can't comment on the bill yet but I would not recommend a visit there unless absolutely necessary. Went there for an evaluation immediately following a T-bone car accident. We had to request ice for swelling and they failed to identify a concussion. I could complain more but will just express my review as deep disappointment and hope to never return. read more

Dr. Visintainer is the BEST!!! Amazing doctor! I got stitches from her. She explains what's going on with you in great detail and is very friendly. The front desk staff, custodian staff and security guard were great too. This ER is also very quick here. Everything was extraordinary, except for the nursing staff. If there was one area that needed to be improved it would be from the nursing staff - I'd say they're only average.. definitely room for improvement in terms of care and communication from nursing staff. read more

Dr. Jaber and Nurse Wan were extremely helpful on my visit with my husband. We were checked in immediately and passed right in to one of the rooms. Everything was very clean and sanitary. Very professional staff. Would recommend this emergency room 10/10 and I'm very glad its so close to home. read more

Quality service. Brought my wife here for Pneumonia. Not a real challenging visit but they handled it well. Personalities were friendly but a little quirky (this IS Virginia). Warning to unsuspecting patients - find another location for your healthcare needs, if you can. Or else, make sure to inquire about the prices of services desired, if you absolutely must enter through the doors of this location. They charged $463 for an x-ray that is priced at ~$77 at other imaging centers in the area - a mere 500% more than the prevailing market base (and I didn't even go to the emergency). I walked in on my Inova PCP's recommendation, but was shocked to see the bill later on - incidentally, even my Inova PCP provider was surprised by the cost of an x-ray (their recommendation was also ~$77). No forewarning, about the exorbitant pricing, for the walk-ins to make an informed decision. Not the facility I would count as "go-to" location for my healthcare needs in my community. read more

We have been to this emergency room twice and have great experiences. There was minimal to no wait time and the nurses and doctors are great! We would recommend coming here for any emergency treatment that's relatively minimal (e.g. stitches, possible broken leg). If you need more major urgent care, would recommend just going to inova Loudoun or Fairfax since they would just send you over there anyway. read more

We had to go to the hospital yesterday, after a car accident. I cannot tell you how impressed we were. I did not even sit down before they called me in for treatment. I saw Brian (RN) Ian (PA) and the doctor (sorry, I forgot his name, but he was terrific.) I was there about 45 minutes. Everyone was kind, considerate and very comforting. I went to INOVA 24 Hour Emergency last night. Upon arrival and discharge the attention and care I received was top notch. My nurse Vanessa had the mantra of "can I get you anything". She asked frequently and was very caring. The X-ray technician was friendly and kind. Doctor Malachias was thorough in his explanations and explained everything in laymen terms. Unfortunately, I had to come here the morning of Saturday, February 11. 2017 and ended up getting a fun ambulance ride to the hospital due to a DVT in my leg. But, I have to say, if you're going to get a random, dangerous clot in your leg, this is the ER to go to! My nurse was AMAZING. (In fact, I hope they take the time to look her up based on my date and diagnosis. She deserves so much praise) She was on top of it all and spent extra time with me and my two girls because I was alone with them. She kept me informed about what was happening next,explained what would likely happen once I am in the hospital etc. She even made sure my kids had some food and were occupied until a friend could come get them. I wish I could remember her name because she deserves so many accolades. A few weeks later I had to return as I was concerned about another clot. The front desk lady expedited my admission and got me in asap as soon as she saw my worried expression on my face and I told her what could be happening. Again, the physician, nurse and ultrasound tech were fantastic. (Luckily, a false alarm!). I really like this facility and the staff and doctors are top notch!!! We've since moved out of state, but I would not hesitate to recommend this faculty for friends in Ashburn. read more

Review is for Outpatient Radiology: My wife and I went here so that she can have a prenatal ultrasound. Positives - Clean, no wait for an 830am appointment, and friendly staff. My negative had to do with the DR needing to be aware of how his actions can be misinterpreted by patients and make them nervous. Due to the baby's position, the tech had some difficulty getting all the images that they needed, At some point the DR came in the help the tech and he was friendly. He left at some point. He came back within a few minutes and asked to talk to the tech in the hall and left us in the room with no explanation. This kind of made us wonder whether something was wrong. The tech returns and finished the ultrasound. When she was done, she told my wife to get dressed and to wait in the waiting room as the DR wanted to talk to us. This definitely made us nervous. So we waited in the waiting room anxiously. The tech came out about 5 min later and said that the DR didn't need to talk to us. We asked if everything was fine and she hesitantly said yes. Sorry but I feel that once the DR says he wants to talk to us, he should stick to it positive or negative. Fortunately, everything was fine when we got the report. But we were nervous during the five days that it took to get the report posted to MyChart (btw my wife's OB said that she never got the results). During previous MRIs and Ultrasounds, I have been able to go to the office and get reports the next day. So we went back the next day to get the report. They wouldn't give it to us saying they weren't allowed too and despite them saying that the report was complete. That's poor service. I've had many experiences with radiology due to some sports injuries and have mostly gone through Reston Radiology. Reston Radiology has always given me my reports when I asked for them and I never left an appointment where the DR's actions made me more anxious about the results. So despite a nice facility and nice staff, we have decided to go to Reston Radiology for any future radiology despite the fact that this is closer. read more
