I don't normally leave negative reviews, but I feel like people should know what to expect…read more I've been getting Botox and filler for over 10 years, so I completely understand that providers occasionally run behind. That wasn't my issue. My appointment was scheduled for 1:15 p.m. I confirmed it multiple times beforehand because I had to take time away from work. When I arrived, I sat in the waiting room for over 30 minutes with absolutely no communication. No one came out to acknowledge me, apologize for running late, or even let me know what was going on. I had to text just to find out if I was still going to be seen. Eventually I was told she was "cleaning," but never once did she step out to personally apologize or explain the delay. Since I work two jobs, I couldn't keep waiting indefinitely. I had already used my lunch break, driven to the appointment, and lost valuable work time. To accommodate her schedule, I agreed to come back the following morning after she assured me she would come in early specifically to treat me. Unfortunately, the communication issues continued. I called multiple times to confirm the appointment and continued receiving automated text responses instead of a phone call or confirmation from the office. After I expressed my frustration, I received an apology, but I was also told that "the few people who can't understand that don't belong in my chair anyway." That statement was disappointing because it completely missed the point. I wasn't upset that she was running behind--I was upset by the lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism. Being a solo provider is hard, and I truly respect anyone building a business. But customer service is part of running that business. When clients are taking time off work, using their gas, rearranging their schedules, and trusting someone with cosmetic procedures that cost hundreds of dollars, the least they deserve is timely communication and respect for their time. A simple "Hi, I'm so sorry I'm running behind. Thank you for your patience," would have changed this entire experience. Indeed, it does appear that the facility main focus is on medical spa, aesthetics, weight loss and women's health. "Family medicine" is not really the main practice. I agree in that the staff and provider are nice but you don't go to a provider's office because they are nice, but mainly to get your medical needs addressed. You just don't advertise infusing whatever to keep people energized, hydrated, feeling well, or an alternative to ingesting those needed vitamins/supplements via oral route because it's faster. 2) it appears that the practice caters to the vulnerability of women wanting to look more attractive and feeling better about themselves. 3) the receptionist is providing medical advice. I was only seen once for a wellness which normally requires fasting labs. She told me I didn't need to be fasting. The NP did the standard labs and not being fasting affects the lab values and not getting accurate results. The NP knew I wasn't fasting but didn't care. cholesterol number were high as a result. Later the receptionist told me over the phone that some numbers were high and needed treatment despite never actually receiving the result interpretation from the provider herself. 4) an entire month passed and I never got the results interpreted from labs so I don't know what if any follow up is needed. Even worse is the fact I wrote several messages regarding labs posted on the portal but the provider never responded. The day of the wellness she found an ear infection and prescribed antibiotics but there wasn't any follow up to make sure the infection cleared. I had COVID but apparently that also did not warrant any follow up. There is no communication from provider but I believe that this is mostly down to a nurse practitioner who isn't very competent and whose questionable medical practices is catered to women's beauty. In short, I will not recommend this facility.
